I'll probably lose to Barbosa, but I figured that the story in my RP was necessary for my storyline that's coming up soon so I won't mind losing if I'm able to set up things nicer for the later payoff. However I did throw a lot into description and the hopes I could get the emotion part of my RP down to offset me not talking at all about my opponent or about Drake being at ringside (I went with the mindset that Califa was basically face down on the mat getting crushed by Beard so he wouldn't have had time to pay attention to the entrance ramp, plus the timing was right after the match. This would mean that he hadn't had time to look at the tape and see what happened).

I enjoyed working with Dave again on my RP. He wrote a great first part that allowed me to piggy-back onto his story whilst extending my own.

You did a great job with that match, was a lot of fun. It's funny because I had the hands-stuck-in-afro RP planned for a while, and when I realized Saxton got ketchup in his hair, I knew it was time to pull the trigger.

My problem with the STA story (aside from, ya know deadlines) at the moment is that there's a lot of information that I know, and has happened off screen that I haven't been able to communicate. Mainly because I've cut parts from RPs intending to put it in next RP and then going in a different direction.

Funnily enough, that is how I felt with my RP; although considering Barbosa was kept out of things for a round to sell the Unscripted beating, I had plenty to talk about explaining what he was doing in that time and his feelings regard not just Califa but also SHIT, Bowen and Cooper.

To be honest, it was lifted straight from episodes of Blackadder and Peep Show. Actually, it is Hugh Laurie of House fame who says "rewengay" in Blackadder in a ridiculous attempt at a German accent as Prince Ludwig the Indestructible.

You would be surprised at how many people do not know he was on Blackadder, let alone even know what Blackadder is. It is hilarious & one of the shows I grew up watching on Saturday nights. Thank god for PBS when I was younger or I would never had known how good the show was.


Its quite sad actually that more people do not know about that show. Even the few I have met that do know the name of the show, they ask -" you mean that other strange show with Mr. Bean?"

Did they think the rare breaking of the 4th wall would make up for the fact that the situation was entirely over-dramatic? Bologna.

Parks and Rec is better at this point. I'm really into that show now.

I don't know what a Blackadder is.

WTF? Give it a shot. British comedy with Rowan Atkinson, Tony Robinson, Hugh Laurie & Stephen Fry. It is about the characters (Blackadder, Baldrick, etc..) in different time periods throughout the series & is quite funny. Atkinson is much funnier here than he was in Mr. Bean, IMO.

Over the years in the WWE we've seen wrestler's going by the character of a dog. Like the late Junkyard Dog in the 1980's, the British Bulldog Davy Boy Smith in the 90's, and Rodney Mack aka Redd Dogg in 2000. 10 years past that we haven't seen a dog gimmick being used ever since. Titus O'Neil of the Prime Time Players does his dog bark during his matches but that doesn't fully mean that he goes under a dog moniker.

Remember the days of the dog collar matches? We don't see them anymore. And the infamous "Kettle from Hell" was a one time only thing. But in this era of WWE. Who would benefit from a dog gimmick in the WWE?

Yes... that is just what we need to save the WWE. More animal themed gimmicks. While we are at it, throw in a few clowns, a new Brooklyn Brawler that is pushed as World Champion in 2013 and a stable of wrestlers named after natural disasters featuring Typhoon, Hurricane, Earthquake, 'Tenacious' Tommy Tsunami & the Houston Heatwave.



Wow. Actually the last 2 I made up would make great created characters in a comedy E-Fed. I could be on to something...

I actually have really liked it since Steve Carrell left. They made up for the lack of Carrell by really ramping up the ridiculousness of the show, and as a fan of absurdity I can really dig it. This last season has just been okay, but I really liked season 8.

I used to wonder what people meant when they described a show as, "cute." Then I watched Parks and Rec and now I understand.

And by the time Community is back 30 Rock will be done. I'm not going to get to watch the season finale air either because I have movie tickets to a Sundance film thing. No, I'm not going to Sundance (again), I'm just seeing a movie in Boston that was shown at Sundance.

Motherfuckers- it is on! Benn is back! If hope they put him with Jagr & Eriksson. That would move Roy on the 2nd line with Ryder & Whitney. 2 great productive lines balanced with speed, youth & veteran style. Stars are fixing to kick some ass folks.

Likely starting monday & just in time for a new week matchup in WZHL. Which means more points for me.

I'm thinking of going to see Movie 43 this weekend. A lot of the previews look good, but when you put together an ensemble cast of actors like that, many of them not used to comedy, it can go south fast.

Too much Jaeg, tried not to vomit, I prayed to the porcelain goddess. My feet against the wall was an attempt to make me think I had sobriety by having my balance firm against something. What I meant by keeping my drunken head correct was me trying to not get the spins. It failed miserably.
