Finally looked at the Oscar nominations. Who's your picks for the 4 acting ones jglass?
I personally, can't see anyone except Daniel Day Lewis win best actor, I'd possibly argue Jaoquin but hes talked some pretty heavy shit about the academy if I'm not mistaken.
I'd love to see either Emmanuel Riva or that Wallis girl win best actress solely for the record setting, anyways I don't care for anybody else anyhow.
Sally fields or Hathaway for best supporting actress me thinks.

Thought there were a few glaring omissions. Dredd 3D had fantastic use of 3D(2nd to Avatar for me), Hunger Games had great outfits and hair design and the Woman in Black had implemented amazing sound which is why it was so damn scary despite having no blood or gore.

Looked up the price of Wild tickets, not cheap, not cheap by a long shot. I'm still searching around & seeing if I can find some sort of package deal, that includes hotel.
I would love to go to a Wild game. Their lineup this year is freaking nice with the new additions. Plus I have been watching some footage of Mikael Granlund & he is pretty badass. He could be a big star in the NHL in the next few years. How far from Minnesota are you?

Now I haven't seen all the films that got best actor nominations, but I'll go through the list and tell you who I'd like to see win and who I think will win.
Best Actor- Daniel Day-Lewis was just too good as Lincoln, and he'll win it too. Cooper was great in Silver Linings, but he played a Philadelphian with anger problems, and Daniel Day-Lewis played the president that ended slavery in the United States.
Best Actress- I've only seen two of these movies (Silver Linings Playbook and Beasts of a Southern Wild), but of those two I think Lawrence deserves it more than the little girl. I could see this award being given to Emanuelle Riva just so the Academy can show off how worldly they are, and also because they are all over Amour's cock this year.
Supporting Actor- I have actually seen all these movies, and it's hard to pick just one of these guys. I have a soft spot for Waltz here since he was arguably the most entertaining part of Django, but I don't see him winning it for that type of movie. I'll take the safe bet and go with Tommy Lee, again in Lincoln. Alan Arkin is a close second. I'd be willing to guarantee Philip Seymour Hoffman won't win.
Supporting Actress- Significantly less talent in this category than there is in supporting actor. Jacki Weaver? Seriously? Once again, it's hard to pass up the Lincoln nomination in Sally Fields, but I would cast my vote for Amy Adams this time. She almost outshone Hoffman in terms of villainy in The Master.
As for Oscar omissions, I'd say there is no omission more criminal than Cloud Atlas not being nominated for anything. This could be the result of the Academy's clear bias against the Wachowski siblings, or maybe the wacky release dates for the film (it's coming soon, Sam, just hang in there), but it deserves to be praised from the rooftops, not totally overlooked.
I was surprised to see that. Maybe that back surgery messed with his equilibrium or something.
It was not a great day for my team either, but the Devils won, so I am happy. Also, the Rangers lost, so I am even more happy.
I was thinking about applying for a job in Milwaukee the other day. I realize that Milwaukee is in Wisconsin, not Minnesota, but I thought it's fairly relevant since they're basically the same place. I decided not to at the last minute.

Well the short answer is the fan base is pretty vast. I've seen pony versions of just about everything.
The long answer, those ponies are based on the gen 3 or gen 3.5 design. That was back when the toys were made with only small girls in mind, so those were made in 2010 at the latest. They are fan made as well, if you look close, you can see eyelashes on Thor, male ponies through the entire 20 odd years have been made sans eyelashes. The current generation, gen 4 was made with a wider audience in mind and is the only generation I pay attention to though.

Milwaukee is a shithole, the rest of Wisconsin is pretty nice though. Especially the Madison, Wis. Dells, & Green Bay areas.
I don't know why I said at the last minute, I must have been very tired. It was not a last minute decision, it was just the normal type. I am, however, pretty much willing to work wherever I can find a job... except the deep South.
I know this feeling.
The thing I'm most looking forward to about graduating this year is the hunt for new scenery.
I really just want a job, actually. I'd be willing to stick around in Boston or even go back to New Jersey if it meant I got a steady job with upwards mobility. That said, I'd prefer to go to LA or Chicago or somewhere new and interesting. Except the deep South.

Also you'd be only the second Jew in the company's history, well 3rd if you count the creepy girl who converted solely to have a reason to go to temple so she could continue stalking the other Jew... who turned out to be gay.

You better hope he signs soon, LW is not very deep this year, plus he stands to learn a lot from playing with vets like Jagr & Whitney.
Thats what is pissing me off. He can put up great numbers with them, but is of no use now.
LW is not deep enough to replace his numbers & the others I would use are at positions I dont really need help in.
