I'm a huge fan of Jason Mewes, and I've read everything Smith has put out about his drug addiction. Hell, the only Smith podcast I ever listened to was the series Smith and Mewes did detailing every step of Mewes' journey of getting clean and sober. But yet, I can't make up my mind if this is something I'd want to check out. Mewes' story would definitely make for a great movie, and I love the title of this, but it looks so cheap and from the trailer I can't tell whether or not the acting is any good. What do you guys think?

If you were avoiding saying, "This looks like shit," out of fear Justin and I would rip your throats out, fear not, because that looked like shit. That entire trailer was fucking facial expressions, which leads me to believe that there's not going to be much going on in the movie except for, "STOP DOING DRUGS!" "I CAN'T, I'M AN ADDICT!" That's not to mention that it looks like it was shot with a $200 camera and edited in about 2 days. Oh, and none of the characters look anything like their real life counterparts with the exception of their hairstyles.

I would say pass on this unless it's for free on YouTube or Vimeo or something.

Are you sure it's even a real movie?, it just looks like some fan made trailer, & I know there are a couple guys that are fans of the pods that make these little short fan films based on stuff from the podcasts, I'm wondering if this is one of theirs. I might be the biggest Kevin Smith apologist on the forums, that said I have zero interest in seeing this if it's a real film.

I agree Mewes story is an interesting one, & think everyone should go & listen to this first 7 or 8 episodes of Jay & Silent Bob Get Old, where he tells the whole story of his journey through drug addiction & recovery. I would love to see Mewes & Smith work together to write & produce the movie, & then, since Kevin is committed to only making one more film, & that film being Clerks 3, maybe bring in Bryan Johnson to direct. Bry, for those who don't know is "Beard Guy" on Comicbook Men, he also has directing experience with a film Vulgar, he's known Jay for longer than Kevin has, & infact is one of the people that introduced Jay to Kevin, so I beleive he would be a good choice, knowing Jay very well, & seeing him go with this as well.

A little research suggests that it is a real film that they plan on releasing. I can't imagine this getting released anywhere but on the internet, though.

I've been watching the WWE Inboxes on YouTube, and I've concluded that the Prime Time Players should be the next tag team champions. Those guys are a riot, and they seem so comfortable all the time.

Normally Tuesdays suck, but I think today is gonna be a good Tuesday. I only work a half day, then tonight I'm going to the Twins Winter Caravan where I get to listen to Brian Dozier & Ron Gardenhire talk about the upcoming season & do a Q&A, then I get the meet them, & have a chance to win a ton of great Twin prizes, & I'll probably buy a few raffle tickets if they're giving away another big ass TV.

Oh & a new episode of Justified will be waiting for me when I get home too.

Speaking of American sports, I will be going to see some NHL rejects play hockey.

Last ice hockey game I went to had plenty of the drink flowing, although that was in an outdoor rink in the wintery climes of Austria where an NCAA select played against the local team.

Great night's craic was had.

Them having a good season in any sense of the word is probably going to be unlikely.

Give them a few years, though, and they'll get there.

No, they'll probably try & play up their young prospects & tell us all how they're excited about them & what not, you I would like to ask the question you proposed about selling off players like spare parts. That shit is gets frustrating.
