Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

A part of me cries every time I make a joke about my own mother, but god damn this name change bet has just been fantastic.

Yeah I don't hate it that much either. You need to pace yourself though. There's 6 months left until I can change it again. And when I do change it again, I'm gonna put it to a vote and let someone else choose it for me.

Okay remember those Heavy's yeah I just ran into those fuckers. They no sold a landmine and a grenade, if I didn't have the sheer luck of running into the woods where they got mauled by leopards I would have been fucked.

I've had luck killing some of the heavies you run into earlier on with the sniper rifle if you hit them with a couple shots to the face. I've also had success killing them with C4 and RPGs. Everything else is a crap shoot, and just like real craps, you're probably going to lose. There is a perk you can get eventually that enables you to take down heavies, but until then you're going to have to rely on some less efficient killing techniques.

You'd think that the pirates would be happy to sell the design for armor that withstands landmines, grenades, fire, and all sorts of conventional ammunition to the US government for a few billion dollars and retire on that, but apparently the slave trade is just too lucrative.

They need the extra money for herpes medication.

:lmao:

That does seem to be their biggest complaint, doesn't it? Not the long hours, the endless murdering, or the fact that they'll likely die before they are able to spend any of the money they make, but the fact that some woman (that they likely raped in the first place) gave them the clap.

Just had some random pirate go "ugh, somebody please just fucking shoot me already." So I stabbed him and his friends.

So I found a hunting side mission that lists. "The rabies problem has gotten out of control in the stray dog population. Take an RPG and clear it out." I couldn't stop laughing at how Ubisoft thought that was a good idea for a side mission.

Far Cry 3 is all about the insanity.

Just saw "John Dies At The End". It was crazy. Not the best movie I have seen this year, but good for a few laughs. Interesting plot & made me wish I read the book first though. Im gonna grab a copy this weekend & then read the sequel.

Apparently the guy who wrote it also works for Cracked. He also might have taken way too much acid at some point, because some of this stuff is crazy. Bat shit crazy. Like Hunter S.Thompson saves the earth from aliens type of crazy.

My college football fandom starts & ends with Wisconsin, outside of the Badgers I really don't give a fuck about college football, that pretty much goes for every major college sport actually.

I have no knowledge of what the draft class looks like. I think I have this conversation with someone every year, but the fact remains the same: I have zero interest in college football.

From what I understand it is pretty thin, especially at QB which is what everyone will say the Jets should draft.

Does John die at the end of the movie?

What Thriller said, although it's still early. Matt Barkley was the top QB going into the NCAA Season, and is now probably a 3rd round pick. Some others stepped up, but there are none that look like 9th overall pick material, or even top 20 material.

And everyone would be wrong. Rex will most likely be back next year (his first 2 years can't be ignored and he's due $6 million over the next 2 years). He shouldn't get to draft another 1st round QB, as he'll be on the Hot Seat. If he drafts a rookie, there's an excuse of playing a rookie QB, plus you force a potential new coach to be stuck with a QB (kinda like Carolina was when they drafted Jimmy Clausen, or the New Browns Coach will be with Weeden, or even Denver with Tebow).

They should draft an elite Receiver, elite Runner, or elite Right Tackle/Guard. Or trade down and get an extra first round pick if possible. If they draft defense in the first round they are crazy. One of those should be easily had at 9.

The reason they were able to have the success they had in his first two years is because they had a crazy good defense and a good running game. Their defense is still good, but has been injury prone, and they no longer have a good run game.

If they take a QB, it will probably be Mike Glennon from NC State. Marquis Lee, the receiver from USC could be a good bet if you get over his injury issues. If they take Barkley, who shouldn't be a top 10 pick at this point I will die laughing. When was the last time a USC QB had long term success in the NFL? Palmer had a couple good years before he fell off, I can't think of one before that.

Luke Joekel (sp) from A&M has been regarded as the best pass blocking tackle and a top 10 pick, fwiw.
Right or Left Tackle? BIIIIG difference between the 2. Like $20 million difference.

They're not taking a QB with the 9th pick. Unless a guy seriously jumps up the draft board between now and April, and there's nothing at the other positions.

I believe Lee is only a true sophomore.

I just checked, he is. I thought he was a redshirt sophomore.
Tavon Austin from West Virginia seems to be the top senior WR. Maybe he is where they go.

Lol, stormtrooper still thinks taking RBs in the first round is a good idea.
2012 1st round RBs
Trent Richardson 3
Doug Martin 31
David Wilson 32

2011 1st round RBs
Mark Ingram 28

2010 1st round RBs
CJ Spiller 9
Ryan Matthews 12
Jahvid Best 30

2009 1st round RBs
Knowshon Moreno 12
Donald Brown 17
Chris Wells 31

2008 1st round RBs
Darren McFadden 4
Jonathan Stewart 13
Felix Jones 22
Rashard Mendenhall 23
Chris Johnson 24

2007 1st Round RBs
Adrian Peterson 7
Marshawn Lynch 12

Last I checked, they're still pretty damn common. This year may not be that deep and may not see a runner there (especially at 9 when the Jets pick), but they still get drafted in Round 1.

I'd rather see the Jets pick up a skill player in the first round than an O-lineman. Yeah, we have a few holes at O-line, but it's still a pretty strong unit between Mangold, Ferguson, and Moore.

I don't pay much attention to College Football as my favorite teams are out of town, but I hope Chicago can get their hands on Manti Te'o from Notre Dame, if they can pick up a bunch of other talented rookies to fill the gaps we have at O-Line that would be splendid too.
