Edge of course. Henry is bigger, stronger and more brutal than Edge. The deck almost couldn't be stacked any higher. So of course Edge is the favorite. This is what he thrives on and he'll steal the win somehow. It's what he does better than anyone and it's what he'll do here.

Interesting. In a one on one Edge wuldn't be able to take Henry down, but with weapons he can do anything to take him down. Once he grounds the big man, a conchairto is all it will take to pick up the win, but not until he's been dominated for a while. Edge has great durability though, as his many hardcore matches have shown, whereas I can't remember a hardcore match Henry has had first hand. In fact a shilleliagh (sp) has taken him down. A chair definitely will. Edge in a hard fought win.

Edge is the Ultimate Opportunist. Give him weapons and he's even more dangerous than Stan Hansen in this tournament. As far as power goes, Mark Henry's billed as the World's Strongest Man. But Edge is a man who can find a way to beat anyone.

As I said, give Edge weapons and he's the favorite to not only beat Henry, but win the entire region. I know more new school people will put Edge through, but think of it as an actual wrestling match. Picture them two wrestling with Extreme Rules. Edge wins with the Conchairto on Henry in about 15 min.

Mark Henry was once legitimately the World's Strongest Man. He would pick Edge up and break him in two. "Oh, but Edge can ground him with weapons!!" You don't think that Henry can't take the ring steps and bash Edge's face in? He's not stupid. Henry is a tank. Edge is crafty, but nothing in his arsenal will do much damage to Henry. If he's able to attack with weapons from the start, then he stands a fair chance. But, if Henry gets ahold of him before that point, you can forget about Edge winning, much less moving ever again.

The problem with Mark Henry is that, despite all of the physical gifts that he has, he is always booked to make stupid mistakes. Edge, on the other hand, always takes advantage of others stupid mistakes. Edge has proven in the past that he can go in Extreme conditions, and Henry has proven more often than not that when he grabs a weeapon, it will backfire. Not to mention that this one is in the Rated R Superstars hometown. Edge takes down Henry in a fairly quick one.

Right, well Edge was on top of a brand that Henry was on for about a year, so that would imply that he is better instantly. When you add in the fact that Henry has pretty much never won an important match, and lost on more than one occaision to Matt Hardy, who is no bigger than Edge and in no way shape or form better than him, as theur feuds have proved, you end up with an easy win for Edge.

Edge has beaten Mick Foley in a hardcore match, Henry needed to cheat to beat Tommy Dreamer in a standard match at the dstrongest point in his career, Edge wins this easily.

Henry would likely have a heart attack trying to get his hands on Edge, not to mention Edge has beaten guys like Cena and Taker in the past year, Henry has beaten guys loike Kane, and the extreme jobber Tommy Dreamer at the highest point of his career, to even think that Henry even stands a chance is just flat out ridiculous, Edge wins easy after 10 mins.

Frankly, despite Henry's physical gifts, he's got a nasty habit of losing to men smaller than him. And most unfortunately for Mr. Henry, that includes almost everyone else. Add in the factor that Edge is legitimately a solid wrestler, a crafty and wily foe, and with absolutely no lack of hardcore experience (one of the most dangerous men with a steel chair there is), and Edge walks on into Round 3 with little trouble.

Give me the Rated R superstar here. Edge has this one. He can avoid Henry and Edge will beat Henry with his slyness and weapons. Edge could very well win this region, like Lariat said.

I don't give a shit how big and strong Mark Henry is, he does not stand a chance against Edge. Edge is a crafty son of a bitch, who also happens to have a ton of experience in hardcore style matches. He will out wit, out smart, and out wrestle Mark Henry for the win. Edge moves on to the next round.

I have to ask - everyone keeps mentioning how "smart" Edge is. What is meant by that? What exactly is meant by "Edge is so smart, Edge is so clever." I understand that he's gotten a reputation as being a "thinking man's heel" but I'd like to ask what bearing his brains will have in an ECW environment where anything is legal.

I mean, I think he'll go over Henry here, but in a TOUGH match. A struggle. Edge will win because he's faster, more athletic. Edge has proven that he has the stuff to thrive in a hardcore environment and survive - he has "pain tolerance." Henry has proven that he's very slow, sluggish, and basically ALL power.

But "smart?" Please tell me what "smart" has to do with anything, and how "smart" will get Edge over men like Vader, Andre, Raven, and other big names in this region.

Edge has brains. He has somewhat brawn. He has technicality. He has speed. He has a love and great skill/specialty with weapons. Mark Henry on the other hand has... fat. Lots and lots of fat. Sure, Henry could hit Edge with ring steps or something heavy, but by the time Henry get there, he'll turn around and Edge'll be there with a steel chair already.

The Rated R Superstar takes this with a huge spear to The World's Strongest Man. Post-match, he hits a con-chair-to as well.

I was half-tempted to vote Henry here, because I think he truly would be successful in old school ECW. His size and strength would be a huge advantage, but Edge will find a way to pull off the win. Whether it's a run-in, or a spear from out of nowhere, he'll walk away with the victory.

I have no problem blindly voting for Edge in this match. The guy is about as accomplished when it comes to gimmick matches as anyone in history. I do honestly believe that the IWC takes an unneccessary dump on Mark Henry each and every chance they get though. Mark Henry is much better then what he is made out to be, as a testament for him being employeed by the E for getting near 15 years now. However, in the end, Edge wins this match.

Clearly Edge, I can't imagine Henry in any point of his career being able to defeat Edge, if this match actually happened you'd expect Edge to win every time. He's a far more successful wrestler, he's done it all and is the most decorated WWE wrestler of all time. Henry's been erm, ECW Champ. Edge will take this but it'll be one of those close matches that doesn't last very long 5-6 minutes.

How many tables, ladders, and chairs matches has edge won? I'll tell you the answer to that question, a lot! This guy always finds a way to come away with the victory, especially in matches where the rules go out the windows. Mark Henry is bigger and stronger, but Edge would find a way to win.

Mark Henry takes this match...

...only if Mae Young is his valet. This has the potential to distract Edge. This will especially be the case if Tony Atlas is still the manager and Mae plants a big wet one on him. Edge will be so lost that he forgets that he's in a wrestling match. This will give the Silverback a chance to get some weapons, knock Edge out cold. Mark would then go for the big splash and pin him.

However, Mae isn't a lock for the match, so the verdict is still out for me. Can we change this to an intergender tag match? Mark Henry/Mae Young v. Edge/Vickie?

Henry takes it. After recently seeing Big Show KO Edge on Raw, I have complete faith that the biggest guys in the land could take Edge on a well-deserved ride. Somebody's gonna get their ass kicked, and it's Edge.
