Domestic football - spam version

I'm not entirely sure whether or not I've already stated this in this thread or anywhere but I'll repeat myself if I have; I don't think Alex Ferguson is the best manager ever. It's been giving me a slight itch in the past few weeks that it's been almost unanimously agreed that he's the best manager ever when he might not even be the best British manager ever. There, I said it. I expect you all to form a large mob fueled by anger and contempt, then I expect you to try and attack me with pitchforks and cricket bats... over the internet. Of course.

Please, explain. And say who you think is the best.

Well the obvious question is if not him, who and why?

Though the mackem mousilini's in at 16th and everyone moves up one if Wigan go down.

I missed Di Canio. When you bear in mind that Martinez will probably not be there next season by changing job or relegation, it makes it even more ludicrous.

That's fucking ridiculous. When you consider Newcastle have a reputation for manager changes and have the 4th longest manager reign.

Jol has had two seasons, and most of the players were there when he got there, and the same is true pretty much of everyone below him. How is a manager supposed to show what they can do when that is the case?

If it's any consolation your favourite Newcastle player is playing his last game for us on Sunday.

Mancini is overrated as heck. Even in retirement Ferguson lasted longer than a Man City coach lol.

And Ferguson is the best ever manager in the English league due to his longevity at the top. He finished in the top 3 for 20 straight seasons. In an era where finishing top 4 is seen as an accomplishment that is ridiculous. He also won the same number of league titles as Arsenal (3rd best of all time) and beat the deemed impossible to match 18 league titles by Liverpool. He lasted longer than WCW on television.

The only knock is he did it with much more spending power than the rest of the league (except one or two team every season). But he has fought them all off. Newcastle under Keegan, Wenger and Mourinho's best and even avenged Mancini's City win last season before he retired.

Best Premier League win percentage (20+ matches)

Jose Mourinho 70.83

Sir Alex Ferguson 65.27

Carlo Ancelotti 63.16

Roberto Mancini 61.65

Arsene Wenger 57.55

Rafael Benitez 55.34

Aye he's shit.

Doesn't mean balls when given the money and players he had access to.

Speaking of shit. Fuck off Wigan! I'm glad they lost a game after having a legitimate goal ruled off.

Their 'offside' wasn't offside as it hit an Arsenal player. Loving it.

When Maloney scored the free-kick I thought they were going to do it again, I thought they were going to escape even said on Facebook had they won I'd have bought a Wigan Athletic jersey but it wasn't to be. They've had a great run in the Premier League and I'm sad to see them go, just hope Watford can defeat Palace because aside from Ian Holloway as manager I have never been able to stand Crystal Palace. Can't even explain why.

Sad day for football. Wigan relegated, probably the same Champions League teams as last year and the shit eating grin I am picturing on Lee's smug face right now is actually making me feel sick.

Oh and Martinez's spending over his years in charge, whichever figure proves to be correct, is still pocket money compared to some of the sides stuck in the same relegation fight they were.

`Wigan's best ever league finish was under Steve Bruce. Let that sink in.

It's sad to see them go, their final 10 games was always fun.

By the way Lee, I think you're the first person I've come across who doesn't like Wigan, although I live in Australia, where most people are on the United/City bandwagon and most likely don't even know Wigan...

I've done the maths for you. Since Martinez came in Wigan spent 17.9mil and sold 41.7mil. That's a profit of 23.8million which is crazy when you think about it.
