Maybe if she didn't always sit around waiting to sign "former" wwe talent or blatantly rip off obvious past wwe/wcw storylines people would take her more seriously. Or come up with the same faction/stable of the month it would be more enjoyable to watch. Or constantly signing talentless talent like Hogan, flair, foley (no offence to him), hoping to cash in on "names" pops rather using a whole locker room of wasted talent.
TNA is a shell within a shell within a shell of itself. The whole DB=EY title win in the same week in the same fashion shows their not even trying anymore it's just "Hey lets just do whatever WWE is doing." I'd like dixie & TNA more if they actually tried, literally tried to come up with their own ideas...
That first part sounds an awful lot like the WWE too. WWE was sitting around to sign "former" ECW and WCW stars for ages. Now they're signing "former" Japanese stars it seems. If there was a company above the WWE, oh believe me they'd be signing their talent too.
WWE has also been ripping off WCW, ECW and TNA ideas for quite a long time as well. Hell, it's been ripping off itself even. You'd say there's nothing wrong with that, but there's a thing called self-plagiarism. It's not as cheap as ripping off WCW or TNA, but it's up there.
And it's funny that you mention TNA signing people like Hogan, Flair and Foley. Wasn't Foley under a WWE contract recently? Didn't he actually decline their legends deal? Aren't Flair and Hogan with the WWE right now?
Oh, and by the way, you just called Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley and RIC FUCKING FLAIR "talentless". Congratulations, you're a maggot.
If that's the case, you should be thinking preeeetty low of the WWE as well. They're doing the same stuff TNA's doing. Hell, they're doing the same stuff WCW and ECW were doing. They're doing what EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING. When are people going to realize that this is how wrestling companies operate?
When you're the number two company and a big star gets released from the number one company OF COURSE you sign them. When a storyline worked in the past and has potential to work now OF COURSE you emulate it instead of spending countless hours coming up with innovative ideas that might and probably will fail completely.
Why do you think Hollywood is based on making money through sequels now? On comic book characters that people are ALREADY following and enjoy? If Hollywood was completely focused on creating UNIQUE movies NEVER done before and unique superheroes never seen before they would go fucking bankrupt. End of story.
Ripping off and emulation of stories and characters has been going on for AGES. The only people who have a problem with it are internet fans. You think WCW fans gave a damn that Sting was a COMPLETE AND UTTER rip off of The Crow? Hell no. They looked at him and went "Oh shit, he looks so cool he looks just like The Crow". Not "COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT! AUTHENTICITY NOT DETECTED! BITCHING ON THE INTERNET COMMENCING!"
I don't think anyone likes Dixie. I don't. But I don't hate her either. All I see is her wrestling character and all I know about her are mixed reports from people on the Internet. For every fan that says she's a mark and doesn't know what's going on, there's a wrestler who's said she's a very nice and respectful woman who has TNA's best interest in mind. The way I see it, that "mark" has been running TNA for like 12 years now. Through ups and downs. TNA's still around and it doesn't seem like it's going anywhere. I say that's job well done.
She hasn't beaten the WWE? Of course she hasn't, she can't. She won't. TNA can't, TNA won't. Pretty sure we're all clear about that. It's not just about the product. WWE is a fucking business MONSTER. TNA could have a flawless product and it still won't matter. That's what's good about their position, they can do whatever the fuck they want and a large majority of the fans will still watch. Just like with the WWE. Why? Because of us. We're a bunch of loyal dogs.
All I'll say is Dixie's doing fine on TV. For someone who has little to no experience with being on camera, she's doing just fine. Seems like a scawny, confused, annoying little bitch who has no idea what she's doing and yet she's running things. Other wrestlers are even saying it to her. You know, exactly the image the dirt sheets are portraying her as. Coincidence?
