Does Everyone Really Hate Dixie?

I know she's a heel and all but i can't find anything nice about dixie carter anymore, i guess i didn't get the memo but i really like dixie carter she's one of my fav things about TNA.

So is this just playing along with the script do you really hate dixie or just her character?

I get confused sometimes when i see all these negative comments about heels cause i don't know if they don't like the character or the actual wrestler.

so my question is............... What do you think of the real dixie carter?

ive got nothing personal against dixie, i met her in 2007 she was nice. havent seen her character in tna, but what i dont like is the fact that tna was original then slowly turned into a shell of its former self. forget about wwe, just comparing tna to itself and you can see the tail spin. dixie is the boss so she gets the credit for all the good and all the bad, and more times than not there is more bad than good. i used to be a fan of tna but it got so bad i quit watching and dixie gets the blame. also including a mandatory talent comtract for yourself in the sale of a company that is losing money is asinine.

I actually like Dixie Carter as the heel character on TV. She plays it well and people love to hate her. She makes a great heel character. I really enjoy the dynamic between Dixie, Spud & EC3. With her being so vain & snobby and Spud & EC3 being the comedy duo that tags along. I found it very entertaining.

I'm not gonna go into the backstage politics & business management because quite frankly...I'm not there to know the truth. Only what dirtsheets report which is usually 50/50. But I personally like the character.

I really enjoy heel Dixie. I know many don't like her, but I think she plays the role well. Is she perfect? Of course not. But she's does fine as a heel. Her interactions with AJ prior to his departure were great, and the trio of Dixie, Spud and EC3 are great, too.

As far as backstage stuff goes, I agree with Captain Trips. We're not backstage to see how she is. As a person and businesswoman, I can't judge Dixie because we can only go off what the dirtshirts say and those, more often than not, are far from reliable.

That said, I don't hate Dixie. I like the character, she's entertaining. Dixie the businesswoman. I can't really comment on that.

People really do hate Dixie because they've been mislead to believe that because TNA has a national TV deal they've got the key to morphing into WCW 2.0, even though the have maybe 1/3 of WWE's production budget and nowhere near the brand recognition and marketing muscle. All they've got to do is book a pure wrestling promotion to contrast WWE and all will be right with the world, but Dixie Carter is out to get us so she'd rather lose money than become a billionaire with a slam dunk solution coming from we who know it all.

Maybe if she didn't always sit around waiting to sign "former" wwe talent or blatantly rip off obvious past wwe/wcw storylines people would take her more seriously. Or come up with the same faction/stable of the month it would be more enjoyable to watch. Or constantly signing talentless talent like Hogan, flair, foley (no offence to him), hoping to cash in on "names" pops rather using a whole locker room of wasted talent.

TNA is a shell within a shell within a shell of itself. The whole DB=EY title win in the same week in the same fashion shows their not even trying anymore it's just "Hey lets just do whatever WWE is doing." I'd like dixie & TNA more if they actually tried, literally tried to come up with their own ideas...

That first part sounds an awful lot like the WWE too. WWE was sitting around to sign "former" ECW and WCW stars for ages. Now they're signing "former" Japanese stars it seems. If there was a company above the WWE, oh believe me they'd be signing their talent too.

WWE has also been ripping off WCW, ECW and TNA ideas for quite a long time as well. Hell, it's been ripping off itself even. You'd say there's nothing wrong with that, but there's a thing called self-plagiarism. It's not as cheap as ripping off WCW or TNA, but it's up there.

And it's funny that you mention TNA signing people like Hogan, Flair and Foley. Wasn't Foley under a WWE contract recently? Didn't he actually decline their legends deal? Aren't Flair and Hogan with the WWE right now?

Oh, and by the way, you just called Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley and RIC FUCKING FLAIR "talentless". Congratulations, you're a maggot.

If that's the case, you should be thinking preeeetty low of the WWE as well. They're doing the same stuff TNA's doing. Hell, they're doing the same stuff WCW and ECW were doing. They're doing what EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING. When are people going to realize that this is how wrestling companies operate?

When you're the number two company and a big star gets released from the number one company OF COURSE you sign them. When a storyline worked in the past and has potential to work now OF COURSE you emulate it instead of spending countless hours coming up with innovative ideas that might and probably will fail completely.

Why do you think Hollywood is based on making money through sequels now? On comic book characters that people are ALREADY following and enjoy? If Hollywood was completely focused on creating UNIQUE movies NEVER done before and unique superheroes never seen before they would go fucking bankrupt. End of story.

Ripping off and emulation of stories and characters has been going on for AGES. The only people who have a problem with it are internet fans. You think WCW fans gave a damn that Sting was a COMPLETE AND UTTER rip off of The Crow? Hell no. They looked at him and went "Oh shit, he looks so cool he looks just like The Crow". Not "COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT! AUTHENTICITY NOT DETECTED! BITCHING ON THE INTERNET COMMENCING!"

I don't think anyone likes Dixie. I don't. But I don't hate her either. All I see is her wrestling character and all I know about her are mixed reports from people on the Internet. For every fan that says she's a mark and doesn't know what's going on, there's a wrestler who's said she's a very nice and respectful woman who has TNA's best interest in mind. The way I see it, that "mark" has been running TNA for like 12 years now. Through ups and downs. TNA's still around and it doesn't seem like it's going anywhere. I say that's job well done.

She hasn't beaten the WWE? Of course she hasn't, she can't. She won't. TNA can't, TNA won't. Pretty sure we're all clear about that. It's not just about the product. WWE is a fucking business MONSTER. TNA could have a flawless product and it still won't matter. That's what's good about their position, they can do whatever the fuck they want and a large majority of the fans will still watch. Just like with the WWE. Why? Because of us. We're a bunch of loyal dogs.

All I'll say is Dixie's doing fine on TV. For someone who has little to no experience with being on camera, she's doing just fine. Seems like a scawny, confused, annoying little bitch who has no idea what she's doing and yet she's running things. Other wrestlers are even saying it to her. You know, exactly the image the dirt sheets are portraying her as. Coincidence?

Forgive my jab word "Talentless" by that I meant Flair's notorious drunken promo's as of late not to mention his age & What DID Hogan do for TNA besides iceberg that TNA Ship ? He copied the HHH/Steph married the boss's daughter story which did nothing. He took away the 6 sided ring & tried to compete on monday nights which also failed. He charged $25,000 per appearance for 10 min in ring promo's money well spent :banghead:

Dixie hires "investors" like ordering pizza they all come and go hoping to cash in on name pops. 1.)larry zbyszko 2.) Hulk Hogan 3.) Rick Flair 4.) Mick Foley 5.)MVP.

people will always bash TNA just look at how many obvious copied wwe ideas: Magnus as champ=Randy Ortan. Abyss in a suit=corporate Kane. Eric Young=Danial Bryan. Eric Young VS Abyss = Danial Bryan VS KANE.

I think Dixie is great with fans and the talent. I seen her answear 40 questions from fans on her twitter. But the other day, did she not talk some bs to JR? If JR is going to say something it is only going to try to help. Your going to tell JR about wrestling? Really? It is a insult to wrestling She has been in charge for how long? With no head way at all. I have been saying the same shit on forums for two years. You can't out entertain the WWE, it is never going to happen. The only thing you can do is be WCW, in 1996 and out wrestle them. Pick a legit champion (Kurt Angle). And out wrestle them every day of the week. Get rid of the fake angles and comedy.
