I was a bit confused with it too. Since RAW is on at night time over there in America, I would have thought that the kids would be in bed by the second hour and therefore Cena should be on earlier so his fans can cheer him.
I think this storyline works well for business- the Punk/Nash/H storyline for the adults and the championship storyline for the kids.
For a lot of America it is still Summer and school hasn't started back yet or it is here at least. I agree to an extent with the OP sure he marked out towards the end by taking on all challengers in his argument but I digress.
What comes on last is what everyone is going to remember it is just the way the human mind works. Lasting impressions are usually created by the last thing you see. That is why I dismissed most of the uproar about only 5 matches last night. If the 2 main events succeed that is what people are going to remember the PPV for and rather they got there moneys worth or not. Bottom line is people would be buzzing way more about the Nash/Punk promo if it was the last thing we saw. But you can't put a championship match on at 10 eastern 9 central just discredits the belt.
The problem really lies with given Rey a title shot ahead of time like they planned last week. (He was champion for an hour does he really deserve a rematch) All the heat and hype is on Punk/Cena/HHH/Nash and the majority of the final part of the program is on Rey and Del Rio. I realize it is Reys hometown and everything but the booking just didn't sit right with me tonight. I feel as if a segment with the hottest storyline really is where the show should of ended. But, all in all a great show so Im not complaining just simply stating what I would of liked to have seen.
