Does anyone else think..

No. The WWE is completely on board with Miz now, and he's their new poster boy. They even keep having Cole pound it into our heads that he's the "new face of Monday nights". Cole went from hating Miz a week before Money in the Bank, to talking about how much he likes Miz and how he's the future of the WWE... Thanks Cole, we get it. He's who the monkeys in the back want us to care about now. Thank you for reminding me for a 4th time this segment...

Nah, it just blends in with his brash character, The Miz is arrogant and a loud mouth, ofcourse hes gonn brag and shit.

The only things that will hurt his future world title reign is getting injured, failing the wellness policy test, poor booking.

I wouldn't look soo deeply into this.

This is a reason for concern. The Miz as Mr. MITB is already starting to remind me of when Mr. Kennedy held the briefcase. Upon being drafted to Raw in 2007, Kennedy quickly claimed his title match for Wrestlemania 24. He started counting the days until he was to become champion("Mr. Kennedy's count down to Wrestlemania 24")Then his downfall began. Injuries, failed drug tests, and Randy Orton was the nail in the coffin. THE Miz better not guarantee too much too early, or he could risk jinxing himself. Miz is not quite ready to hold the title yet, but hes getting there. He should hold the case for a while, improve his ring skills a little, build his credibility with a few good wins- maybe over Edge, Orton, Jericho- then cash in.

I personally think MIz will be the 1st to lose with the contract. Someone will run in on his title match after the bell rings voiding the contract, but it wont slow his push. Miz will rebound by winning the 2011 Royal Rumble Match. Right now im predicting a Miz/Cena Wrestlemainia 27 main event-Miz obviously winning the WWE title.

I don't see Miz messing his big chance up. I think he will hold onto the Briefcase for a while and tease and only scare the Champion but not cash in. I think he keeps the briefcase for a while and he only waits for the perfect moment to cash in.

In my opinion all the odds are in the miz' favor. Miz will do something similar to Edge i think and that is wait for a while until nobody remembers and out of now where cash in on the champion. Miz's chances in my mind are great and as far as im concerned he won't blow his big chance.

I partly agree with the OP, after hearing him saw he is the future champ, I did think that is a sign he wont be. However, my guess is while he will be the first to fail in cashing in the briefcase how i see it unfolding is - he cashes in in december or at the Rumble, loses the title match but wins the Rumble and goes on to do his other claim, headline and win the belt in the Wrestlemania main event.

With the rapid improvement and all the hard work Miz has been putting backstage, I just don't see WWE screwing him over by being the first MITB winner to not get a championship. But if they do, its not like Miz will just fade away. Whether Miz wins or loses his championship match, he'll remain a main eventer. I suspect if he loses, he would get some sort of rematch and win it a bit later.

I hate how everyone thinks they know who should have the title and etc; we are fans, ok. we dont know everything! you guys think when they pushed austin someone was saying oh push austin push austin!? never happened like that, u ever realize when u least expect something to happen its always better then when you push for it to happen, anyways i think the miz will build this around his character for awhile, it would be cool to see him hold it till wrestlemania then cash it in, then lose, he will probably lose just because noone has yet, to say that the MITB winner will never lose is ridiculous, u might as well just be put into a title match and not waste our time. if he loses it will just add further to his character and situation, developing a whole new storyline driving him crazy possibly even a repackaging, cuz at that point he could drastically improve, which he is proving right now, theres alot of things wwe can do having someone in possession of the briefcase, drag on scenarios, tease, swerves, how bout taker has the belt going into mania (completely pointless as the streak is a title of its own) taker beats his opponent, then miz cashes in, taker beats miz. 20-0 right there without using another year of his life getting injured waiting for the mania where he goes 20-0, they can continulously have him tease his cash in, lots of possibilities

No that won't doom him. Just because he says he's a future champ doesn't mean that he won't be. Miz is very good and I think he's the complete package, he's excellent on the mic and great in the ring. The Miz almost won the championship on Raw, so if anything, he should be very confident. The thing we have to remember is is that VKM is very high on Miz, so he'll prolly make sure that Miz wins the belt.

A couple of things from me here. First and foremost, I don't think Miz will be the first to unsuccesfully cash in the breifcase. I really hope that is not the case. I'm as high on the Miz as I've been on any wrestler the last few years. That being siad, I can see the Miz using this oppurtunity for a face turn. That scares me a little. I LOVE the Miz as a heel, but I can see creative freshening him up for a face turn. Now, I think the Miz can pull it off, but he is sooo over as a heel, I tend to wonder if it would be too soon. His character is not stale, so I'm not sure it would be the right time to have him turn. There is a lack of babyfaces right now, especially if the HHH or Cena heel turn rumor is as inevitable as most are making it out to be. If either or both of these scenarios pan out to be true, creative may turn to Miz to fill the void. I certainly think he is capable of it and can actually see him selling merchandise, but feel it may get rushed out of neccassity. We shall wait and see.

well since he currently is getting a HUGE push then he will likely win the WWe title, if this was someone that vince didn't like this would be different, but actually suspect the Age of Miz to begin soon:lol:

The Miz saying that he controls the future of the title is just part of selling himself as a main eventer in the future. He just cut a normal MITB winner promo. From Edge to Kennedy to Punk, all gave the same speech about how they could cash it in whenever they want, and for the most part all sucessfully became world champs when they cashed it in so I don't see any sign of the Miz losing when he cashes it in.
