This wasn't so unusual in the Pacific time zone...you had two VCR's. You watched the first hour of Nitro while taping, then watched RAW live while taping, then watched the rest of Nitro on tape after Raw went off if the first hour hype seemed worth it. If not, erase that bad boy the next week. That's how I ended up with both intros after the WCW sale w/Vince at the beginning of both, which I was floored by cause I wasn't online the prior week. I'm buried in so many tapes it'll take a lifetime to convert them to DVD. But I digress...

You're right, the 'pisstivity' factor would be off the charts if it turned out to be Cena all along. But it would make total sense if Stephanie was to be the one who pulled the trigger, so to speak, being as he met with her briefly right before the videos started showing up.

As for Jericho scheduled to be in Memphis for those three days-could be real, could be a swerve. WWE.com is part of the machine, so it could be out there to actually increase the surprise factor, kinda like when the female legs came out the limo before introducing The Rock for WM, THE mark-out moment of 2011, IMO, CM Punk notwithstanding,

I have it on VHS because I taped it while watching it live, like virtually every ep of Raw since 1994 and Smackdown since 1999. You like to say "FACT" when your "FACTS" ARE SKEWED, then you blow off those errant "FACTS" by 'doesn't really matter'. If you want to use the industry vernacular (ask your Mom what that means), use it correctly. The TOP OF THE SHOW is the START OF THE SHOW, or the OPENING SEGMENT. My facts are accurate, both debut and return were at the top of the SECOND HOUR. Now, if you mean something else in the future, try saying it right, oh, I don't know, THE FIRST TIME. Then maybe you can have an intelligent, thoughtful discussion.

As for Shane, to dismiss any elements whatsoever of the videos can't possibly relate to him just means you're in perfect mark position when he does show up. Unless you're sharing a condo in Shanghai with him, it's mere conjecture (again, ask your Mom) on your part that it's so impossible. You have your guess, I have mine, and both have merit. Being so sure Shane would never come back and do business with Pop is just as blind as being so sure Jericho is working the IWC by insisting he's not coming back. Respond if you have something constructive; if it's all about name-calling, you might wanna think twice about that. And double-check your "FACTS" before you post.

I dont doubt the fact that Shane MIGHT come back and do BUSINESS with Vince and the WWE...but as far as a full-time character its not going to happen. Shane wants nothing to do with the WWE anymore, he walked away from it. Thats why the storyline of Triple H taking over happened...because that is the future. Vince wanted to give it up to Shane, like Vince's father did for him. After Shane left, Vince will now turn the company over to Stephanie and Paul (Triple H).

Go ahead, keep thinking that its Shane, cause when its NOT, you will be in for a world of letdown.

Strictly looking at the video I think all signs point to Jericho. However, with what he's said out of the ring (if they are sincere) and his schedule it would appear that it is not him.

My biggest reason for it NOT being Jericho...He's NOT in WWE12. If he was coming back wouldn't he at least be in the game?

I just noticed something interesting about these promos. It all started with me downloading an emulator for WWF Smackdown 2: Know Your Role for the PSX. After playing for a while, I had a match coming up against Biker Taker. They show the videos before the match and in Taker's video, there were 2 kids and an outside scenery eerily similar to the 1/2/12 videos. Before I noticed this I was sure it was Jericho. Now i'm actually leaning forward to the Biker Taker returning (which I'm not really fond of tbh). Either way I'm looking forward to this RAW about as much as I was intrigued by the RAW after "the shoot heard 'round the world"

You dont even know if he said wether he did or didn't like it? Mark has gone on record saying that the Biker gimmick was his favorite because thats who he is. He is a biker outside of WWE, his best friend and best man at his wedding was Chainz from Disciples of Apocalypse.

It was his character as the leader of the Ministry of Darkness that he hated. He has gone on record stating that he considers that time the worst part of his career.

I can confirm that the picture was recent. I work near his residence and he and Michelle come through on a daily basis. His haircut was recent and his hair is currently short.

I would love for Jericho to return but all the hints they give us all point to Shane :/

Can we know all agree that it's going to be Brock Lesnar and his wife Sable? Brock lost tonight UFC bout and he announced his retirement from Mixed Martial Arts. Now it's obvious that it's those 2. Without his wife, Brock would not comeback to WWE. Now he can have his last run and have a match against Undertaker in Wrestlemania. Also he is in the WWE game. Vince knew long time ago that Brock is going to retire, or he would never put him in the game.

Jericho tweeted saying that we all know for sure now that Lesnar is behind 1/2/12...There's just one problem with that...I thought Chris Jericho didn't know, or care about who was behind 1/2/12 and hadn't even seen the videos? Well, looks like I've cracked Jericho's code.

I'm not a huge UFC Junkie, but has Brock Lesnar ever been in a UFC game? Legit question. If he has, then I'm going to be 50% behind what you're saying here. It seems to make sense.

I can't see it being Brock. He won't come back the day after he gets destroyed in his last fight. He will come back on a big pay day, like wrestlemania. He's not going to be a full time guy as he constantly complained about how crazy the schedule and lifestyle is. He wants to live in isolation in MN, go hunting, and then when cash gets low he'll do a couple shows....repeat until his body can't go anymore.

I hope that the 1/2/12 promos weren't planned for Brock because I want to believe that the fight wasn't a complete fraud.

With the frequency of reported WWE last minute changes it's entirely possible that the 1/2/12 is now for Brock. Look at all the speculation of who it could be, a case could be made for a lot of stars returning. It's not like the promos gave a lot of specifics.

Returning in January to build a program for WM isn't the same as returning to a full time schedule. The Rock returned last year to build for WM this year; he's certainly not doing a full time schedule.

The only good thing that could come of Brock coming back to the WWE is that he would probably want to have Paul Heyman involved in some way. Jericho is probably the guy, with a new version of the deadman as a close 2nd. I wouldn't be surprised if Vince has like three options so he can change his mind like 10 times the day of the show.

There's absolutely no way in hell that the 1/2/12 videos are directly pertaining to Brock Lesnar. While there is no denying the impact that his return would bring, in the short term and likely beyond, let's not forget one important detail. In his WWE finale years ago, Lesnar and Goldberg tanked their match, producing one of the worst in ring debacles in some time. I cannot see WWE pinning their hopes, weeks of hype and hoopla, and the next 3 months, on a guy with a history of being unreliable.

Am I saying that Vince wouldn't welcome him back, of course not. I'm sure he would break the bank to get him back in the company in some aspect. I'm just not so sure he will be as much of a focal point as some have suggested.

Oh, and one other thing. The videos are hyping the return of he Undertaker again. End of story.

Really? REALLY!? Brock Lesnar IS NOT the person those promos are intended for. Just because Jericho made reference to it doesn't mean that he "didn't know". Jericho has been ignoring it...BECAUSE HE HAS TO! What do you want him to say, "yes its me, but keep quiet cause its a secret"? Jericho is playing off of the fact that so many fans have asked him about it that he knows so much about it by now.

Stars on twitter get asked the same thing about 20 times a day. Lets take JR for instance. Someone might ask a question, then a new person follows him and asks the SAME question. Eventually they get tired of answering the same question.

This is probably what happened to Jericho. He has to deny and ignore everything. Once news broke of his contract negotiations he was probably asked about it. Then the news that it is him for Monday broke and he was asked about it. I cant tell you how many times Ive seen people ask him "when are you coming back to the WWE".

Ill also add this...IF Lesnar comes back to WWE, it wont be for long and it wont get promoted like this. Plus I doubt, unless it was in a strict manager role only and nothing more, I doubt Heyman would come back to WWE.

Get a clue people and LISTEN UP!
