Found this video on youtube. I haven't been watching Raw lately, but I was wondering if anyone could confirm if this was an actual promo that was aired on Raw. If so, then the WWE is making it really easy on us...basically giving it away.

Look at the word that comes up right as the countdown hits 1. You'll see the word "Over" and right after that a flash of "Jericho"

Thats right JBL. Maybe its him coming back. He did have a little darkside back in the Acolytes days.

...what I really dont get about the promo's and Y2J is that, actually, he isnt that sinister as a character is he? At times he is quite humourous, yeah, ok, he has done some pretty harsh things, but he isnt someone i think of in terms of...wow, that character would have made me want to hide behind the sofa when I was a kid. So why then are the promo's so freaky? It's a shame, cos I reckon the WWE could actually use cool promo's like this to introduce some other (actually sinister characters)...so....

...wouldnt it be cool if actually it was something different...how about if it was actually about 'control' by a woman over a more destructive force...how about if it were the return of the Phenom under the influence of a totally hot looking 'gothed up' Michelle McCool...

So, she becomes a malevolent, dark, (but damn fit) influence over the Taker on his return and he does as she requests, running through the people like he used to, drawing strength from her at ringside and returning to the kind of force he was when we first saw him at Survivor Series all them years ago...he runs through the card and then takes a great match at Wrestlemania with someone like Y2J...or they do one last Monster versus Monster match with Kane. I have to agree with the guys on CSR, HHH v Taker at WM28 isnt a match that really excites...its already happened twice, but perhaps for nostalgia, perhaps for that kid inside me that sat with his mouth hitting the floor in awe when he saw the Taker turn up in the Million Dollar Man's Survivor Series team twenty years ago...he should go out the way he came in...indestructable.

And before anyone says 'it's not the Phenom, it's Y2J because...' I know that! I'm just saying...would it not be awesome if.....? And think of McCool as a goth...I'd buy that PPV anyday!

Alright guys its 100% Jericho. Here's my reasoning, bear with me....

So after reading some theories in the last few pages. This is why I think IT IS Jericho, and the "she" IS Steph. Remember the last time we saw Steph? Who was she talking to?...CM Punk!...What did she tell him? She said, "Punk, be careful what you wish for"...talking about him being the WWE champ and the "Best in the World"...what a perfect setup to bring in Jericho, the originator of BITW to take back his "trademarked" line and compete for the belt. Stephanie was written off TV very quickly, almost like they brought her back to plant this seed, knowing Jericho would return and they could involve them two together. Just seems obvious.

Also, reason 2 is how Jericho has been acting on Twitter since these promos have begun. Before they ran the promos Jericho was being asked daily if he was coming back, when he was coming back, etc. He always answered, do not know, soon possible, things are being discussed, etc. Then after the promos began running he comes out and says I 100% will not be coming back to WWE as a WRESTLER...as a wrestler was pretty specific in my opinion. Now lately he comes out every week to deny he is returning with his I already told you that is NOT me that the promos are being ran for. When he is asked about different wrestlers, storylines, etc he just keeps saying he does NOT watch or care about WWE and its wrestlers and how other's are doing. Yet he keeps on re-tweeting those questions and answering in "I don't care about Kane's return" or "I do not watch the product I am busy"..now the latest fan question he RTed was asking when he is going to go back to the studio with Fozzy and he specified Jan-Apr (obviously so people believe he really cannot and will not return in January).

Combining all these facts it just becomes obvious the 1/2/12 is for Jericho. He has been trying so hard and so long to say it is not him, yet he remains focusing on those questions because he knows he needs to do his best to deny it. Apparently on tomorrow's RAW we are going to get a big clue about who it will be.....and I am telling you, for a fact, after all the evidence is weighted.....it's Y-2-...the Ayatollah of Rock-N-Rollah!!

honestly, I'm not really sure who it really is. At first I was thinking it was jericho, but now i'm kind of clueless.I'm leaning toward the McMahons is some ways,but then again I'm not, there is supposed to be a "big hint" tonight though.

I don't know how you possibly saw the name "Chris" underneath the X on the notebook. Please post a still of that, if you can. Because all I see is giberish, and that's at it's best quality on my 51inch tv.

Pause the video at :37 as the hand comes in to pick up the notebook. The last letter is clearly an "s", the first letter looks like an uppercase "C" (not sure what else it could be), and the second to last letter looks like it could be an "i". the other two are obscured by the center of the cross-out marks.

That said, I'm not sure the boy in the video is supposed to represent the returning superstar. The boy seems more to me like a messenger. Either way, I'm not so sure that "Chris" being on the notebook means it's Jericho. Since it's crossed out, it could be a subtle way to eliminate Jericho from possibility. It could also fit in with the creepy motif of the videos so far, equating the boy to a part of the superstar's psyche.

Jericho is a very intelligent guy. If you believe these promos are for him, you can and should read into every little element of each one. He's great at using symbolism and metaphor in his promos, and did the same in both the original debut stuff with the countdown and the second coming. This set of videos also has a bunch of religious symbolism, which falls in line with the previous Milennium (End of the world theories) and Second Coming (Christ's resurrection) teasers.

The evolution of Jericho's character certainly fits. Originally, he came to end the WWF as it was and create a new type of superstar. Then, he returned as a savior, to rescue us from boring crap like Randy Orton before his evolution into the current character. Now, we are "prophetless". He returns this time only for his own selfish means - taking back what belongs to him.

"Prophetless" as a reference to the current state of the WWE could also be a reference to the reason for the return. We are "prophetless" because we follow a false prophet - C.M. Punk. He's the target. It all fits nicely, and it's been a great set of videos.

Could you imagine the deception if comes january second, the only returning superstar is skip Sheffield...i don't even think that a undertaker return would justify those promos...

Then again i could live with a hbk return( a fan can dream)

In other videos she has followed him, looked over his shoulder etc

Edit: Nevermind...when I watched it live I heard some music at the end of the flash clips and thought I recognized it, found it online and it is just ADRs music still playing in the background.

This screams Jericho to me. Up until now I've been sitting back, just waiting to see what happens, and trying not to over analyse everything. But this, this just confirms it for me.

Last time he came back to save us. But then when he left, we somehow betrayed him, most likely by embracing Punk, and now he cannot save us, so he is coming back to destroy Punk, and the WWE.

Hoping its Jericho... But it will be interesting to see if Jericho can even turn heel. I think fans will be really happy to see him back that they wont boo him.

Seems like no one here has picked up on the maple leaf that flashes under the swings in the video.

The maple leaf is the symbol of the canadian flag, more specifically it's also the logo of the winnipeg jets, Who wants to take a guess at who's from winnipeg and loves the winnipeg jets?

Starts with a Chris and ends with Jericho.

It's gotta be Jericho. Seeing the Chris on the front of the book makes me believe that it's Jericho, possibly just coming back as "Jericho". Maybe not even that and he'll have a completely new name? Either way, it's definitely a revamped Chris Jericho in my eyes and I cannot wait till Jan 2nd.

Well, I was wrong. Those things are screaming more and more "Jericho".

I always thought that Jericho was too obvious and in my opinion, having the name crossed-out on the notebook was a subtle way for WWE to say it's not Jericho but it could easily mean the opposite but it seems like WWE would want to surprise us on 1/2/12 and Jericho won't be a surprise.
