Dark Match Winner
Seriously, what's so good about guys like Christian, Orton, Dibiase, Rhodes, Swagger, Edge, Morrison and Kingston.
As far as I'm concerned.
Christian- Doesn't hold my interest in matches, has that odd Jack Swagger shape and is extremely overrated. I could name at least 20 or so wrestlers who are much better performers.
Randy Orton- A shadow of what he used to be in his prime. Orton's put on some of the most boring matches and booked feuds ever. (His matches with Sheamus were the worst)
Dibiase- Or however you spell his name. This guy just reeks of mid card jobber. A modern day Scott Putski. I doubt if his character changed that he would be a more exciting wrestler.
Rhodes- Not bad when it comes to entertainment, but not a unique wrestler at all.
Jack Swagger- Too tall looking to pull off the Kurt Angle gimmick, and could've had a good push, but in my opinion, this guys looks doesn't match his character.
Edge- Whatever.
John Morrison- Anything he's done thus far in the ring HAS been done and executed much better by guys like AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, HBK amongst other high flying wrestlers. I feel that I will never again see his nice groundwork because of his spotting.
Kofi Kingston- Another spot fest wrestler, which is why I discredit his wrestling ability. Spots are easy to pull off is someone sells it rights, but what about ground game or charisma? This guy hops around like Ultimate warrior with a boom drop that wouldn't hurt a toddler.
Now, I'm not asking for "the attitude era" of wrestling to return, because it wasn't all that it was cracked up to be either, but my problem lies in how fans praise these guys as if they're doing much more than most wrestlers; and it seems that most are willing to point the finger at guys like Cena or Triple H for squash matches, but in all honesty, these guys do indeed possess more IT factor than the aforementioned. What makes this list of wrestlers unique in any way other than how their opponent sells their moves?
