I think we can rule out Kevin Sullivan as the culprit.

But if Benoit did do this then I think he was able to fool a lot of people for a long time. Either that or something snapped and this was the end result.

I figured out the real reason...

Chris Benoit secretly HATED ECW, due to the bullshit that had been going on there. He felt he should be World Champion, not ECW World Champion... But he got transferred. Thanks to what Vince McMahon did- Turning ECW to shit, Chris Benoit decided fuck it, I don't want the ECW Title.

So he killed his family and himself before he'd ever be the ECW World Champion.

This is all Vince's fault for his horrible storylines.

Over the weekend could mean Sunday then killed himself on Monday. It doesn't make sense but these guys live such clustered lives without ever getting a break...it could change a person like you could never understand. I heard reports that he also canceled out his weekend house show appearances. But I'm exhausted trying to find the truth and making sense in this devastating story...I'll wait for details from the investigation from here on.

I've been trying to wrap my head around this for hours. It still doesn't make sense. Chris, Nancy and their son Daniel all dead. It makes me sick reading about all these conspiracy theories. This isn't a time to play detective. It's a time to pay respect to people who tragically died too young. I remember going to Survivor Series 2002 and watching the Triple Threat tag team match between Benoit/Angle, Los Guerreros and Edge/Mysterio and thinking to myself that the was the Smackdown Six at their best. Chris Benoit was an amazing performer. Watching him live that one time and on television, I could feel his passion for the business. He, above all others, was the one I have the most respect for.
Instead of throwing out conspiracy theories, let's honor a man and his family who never deserved what happened to them. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and every fan of Chris Benoit and his wife, Nancy and their son, Daniel. Thank you for all the memories. Thank you for every match I ever watched you in Chris Benoit. There are three new angels now.

Benoit was one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.

I pray to God he didn't murder his family. I can't believe he could bring himself to murder his wife and 7 year old child.

I think it's bad to speculate either way of what had really happened, and wait for the coroners report as well as defining statements from the police.

Benoit does deserve to be in the hall of fame, though if he really committed murder I doubt he would be let in.

Regardless, I think he should be remembered for his skill in the ring and the entertainment he brought all the fans of Stampede, New Japan, ECW, WCW, and WWE.

He will be missed.

Come on, people! The evidence was all right there for you!! I told you all something about this did not add up. I said there was no way this was an accident. I told you my experience as a Detective was telling me something wasn't right. Did anyone listen? Nope. I got called names.

These wrestlers are on the road 365 days a year...there is no off season. His wife is raising their 7 year old son basically by herself and she probably is a little bit lonely and maybe had an affair...who knows? I'm not accusing, I'm thinking of maybe why he would do it. He probably came home and he clearly was probably on some steroids...and was told about this or maybe walked in on something...I don't know. It's just way too ridiculous. For all his in-ring ability I cannot have respect for someone that does something cowardly and remorseless like kill his own son. WWE.com say that it has been RULED that it was a double murder/suicide.
