Cesaro

When he was with Kidd they did pretty well and had the crowd on their side. It's highly unfortunate that Kidd was injured just as they were getting a good head of steam up. Weren't they in line to feud for the tag titles again? I can't remember.

I agree. I remember thinking that they had the potential to be an all time great tag team which really made me happy as I'm a huge fan of both Cesaro and Kidd. When Kidd got hurt, I was honestly pretty upset as I thought that was Cesaro's last shot at becoming anything under Vince. Now kind of seems like it was.

No you're right I can't remember any relevant ongoing feud that they've put Cesaro in, but then that also applies to most of the roster. Very few are getting anything meaningful these days and that is telling. Yes Cesaro is on TV most weeks, but he is just sort of there. He comes out to a good pop, puts on a great match, loses and goes away again.

You're right again, but if we're looking at the past 3-4 years, the fact that Cesaro has yet to be put in a program with a true main eventer is telling. Whereas the crowd is apathetic to most of the roster, they've been behind Cesaro for a good long time with nothing to show for it. As one of the most over faces on the roster for the past while, you'd think he would get at least half of the opportunities that somebody like Jack Swagger has gotten over the years, no?

Cesaro has never really been given any kind of gimmick that suited him. It's like that have this great wrestler and can't think of anything to do with him. What a waste.

Which is another problem that I've harped on as well. The lack of discernible character for Cesaro makes it difficult for him to really connect with the larger audience. I need to know who Cesaro is and what he cares about before I can truly invest in him as WWEWHC to be honest. He needs a ton of more character progression but they won't give him the mic. It's a conundrum...

Cesaro is world champion material in basically any promotion except WWE. If the brand split was still in place, I could see him as the Smackdown or B level champion, he lacks that personality and presence which make the WHC.

Don't get me wrong, I love his in ring work and I would personally love to have him as champion but I can't see the WWE as an entertainment company and the wider audience accepting him as the undisputed top guy. It's almost like he's too legitimate of an athlete and pro wrestler for the job

He's there with the likes of Bret Hart and Chris Benoit for me. Tremendous ring workers who didn't quite have the comic book character appeal of Hogan, Sting, Cena etc and didn't have the personality of say a Chris Jericho or Ric Flair.

In my opinion Cesaro is the best in ring worker that the WWE has, his promos aren't as bad as some make out, he's never really been given many opportunities to cut promos but yet I'd say he's better than Daniel Bryan or Roman Reigns with the mic and better than many before him who have held the World Title.

The writers don't appear to think that he's World Champion material and he's almost 35, I get the feeling that if WWE don't pull the trigger soon with Cesaro then they never will.

If there wad a Brand Split or a legitimate rival for WWE, Cesaro would be World Champion with his in ring ability alone.

Exactly.... Cesaro would have been World Heavyweight Champion easily but not WWE Champion..... Now there is almost no chance of him becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion ever... And most probably They are not going to push him the way he deserves....

I think logically, they need to give him a mouthpiece, someone to either be an associate of his or even a manager. As odd as it may sound, I'd almost have him partner up in some fashion with Damien Sandow. Think about it, have Cesaro as a heel, and have Sandow basically talking down audience and opponents, if not him. . . and I don't want to say this, make The Miz a manager. The Miz hasn't really done a whole lot since he feuded with Orton a few years back.

A great idea actually. The Miz or Sandow as a loud mouth manager. Hell, it's better than what their doing now. Pretty much nothing. Give them something to do at the very least.

and like we all suspected... Cesaro goes from a 2nd round exit in a great match vs Roman Reigns on RAW...

to Smackdown where he has a 2-minute match with the Miz and then more build up for the upcoming feud with Stardust....

typical WWE B.S.

Hearing that @WWECesaro <https://twitter.com/WWECesaro> is having shoulder issues that will likely require surgery soon. If true, we wish him our best. Quality person.

Oh fuck.....

This couldn't have come at a worse time for WWE. Now instead of continuing his hot streak, Cesaro will most likely be on the sidelines for the next several months alongside the likes of Rollins, Orton, Bryan, Zayn and Itami.
