Who's Next for Cesaro?

Getting Noticed By Management
I don't mean opponent. I mean mouthpiece. He started with Aksana. They got rid of her :) Then they threw him in with the Real Americans so that Zeb could be his voice :) But the time has come to see what Cesaro has to offer with the right push. So he basically said goodbye to Zeb and company last night.

The question is, given that Cesaro still needs some work on his mic skills, who if anyone will they pair him with now that he appears to be going face? I'm not sure he is going to be over enough by himself being the silent tough guy that beats people up. Are there any face managers/valets etc out there good with the mic that can be paired with Cesaro. Or do you think he'll go it alone for awhile and they'll address later if necessary?

I do think he still needs a manager, at least for now. With his mic skills, there's no way he'll get over as a singles wrestler without a manager. The problem is, there aren't any great face managers right now to pair him with. I wish they would have kept him heel and kept him with Zeb Colter. Swagger is the weakest link in that group.

I like Cesaro a lot but his mic skills are concerning. He's not horrible but he's simply not good enough right now, to be in a major, main event feud or even a high midcard feud.

I wish Edge would come back as a manager. He'd be good for Cesaro.

Depends where they let him go with his mic skills, person above me. He can get it done on the mic. He can get his message and story across. They haven't really let him do a whole lot because it's the egotistical heel type of work that he is really good at.

I remember he got on the mic one night for a few minutes before the match when his career was seemingly taking a dip after losing the U.S. Title and he just let lose like uhh.. "I'M THE VERY BEST IN THIS RING... NO ONE IN THE BACK CAN HOLD A CANDLE TO ME..." that type of thing.. and he slammed the mic down... very rare WWE Cesaro right there. Usually he is a good sport and having fun it almost seems while keeping a serious edge to the competition in the match.

Anyways, I'd let him feud with Swagger at Extreme Rules. Zeb Colter can go either way and it'll probably work. Swagger should find a new tag team partner and get Hulk Hogan to take over as the manager of The Real Americans...

Cesaro should go on to have physical feuds that he can go over on and still make his opponent look way better than they could dream of. I'd like to see Cesaro and Sheamus go at it on PPV. Cesaro and Wade Barrett would also be good. Maybe a match with Orton and Cena as the year progresses. Gotta find a way to bring an edge to the Cesaro character still though, could be hard if you want to keep him face, he almost needs a badass swiss gimmick. He could ALWAYS be a main event heel though.

After watching interviews with him he's one of the better non-native english speakers I've seen, his accent isn't nearly as jarring as say del rio. Going forward I think a lot of people need to really think about what they consider a great speaker, most of the time it's about just getting your words out with proper pacing and not marble mouthing it like titus oneil. Everyone has their tricks he just needs his. People like cena as a speaker and he really just yells alot, people like the rock but he delivers pre-written rehearsed stuff which plays to his strength as an actor, some people would sell their kids for wyatt mic time but in reality he just speaks clearly but says nothing. Cesaro just needs to get on the mic and get words out.

As I've said in the past, if you want an example of some of the differences between Vince & Triple H's booking style, watch NXT. A while back, during the build for the first episode of NXT to air live on the WWE Network, Cesaro & Sami Zayn had an in-ring promo segment and both of them did a great job. Vince is all about scripted promos whereas Triple H prefers the old school method. Trips lets talent cut their own promos and to make sure they address certain bullet points, AKA topics, as they do it.

One thing that's held Cesaro back on the mic is was the outdated gimmick of him portraying this arrogant foreigner who disliked Americans. Trying to come off as intellectual because he can speak 5 languages and all that. Not only was it outdated, but Cesaro never felt at all comfortable with it. As a babyface, I honestly think that if they portrayed Cesaro as a tough, passionate guy with a bit of an edge, he can get his point across on the mic.

Just because every other word out of a wrestler's mouth isn't a one liner or catchphrase doesn't mean he can't cut a promo. Not everybody can cut a promo like The Rock, nor should they try. I don't mean that in that they couldn't do it, but I don't see the point in trying to copy The Rock. His method obviously works and works well for him, but Cesaro doesn't need to be like The Rock to get his message across during promos. He might not be revolutionary or set the bar at another level or any of that crap. As long as he builds a connection with fans and gets them to care about him, then that's all that matters.

Why does he need one? He's over. Heels talk you into the match, not the babyfaces. The babyfaces say good guy things, get their ass kicked, then make a comeback in the match. Daniel Bryan isn't a super skilled mic guy.

I actually would like the real Americans to win tag titles.
Lose to lets say a Henry and big E or Henry and big show team.
Then when they lose the titles, turn on each other. Have a Fued for
A few ppv, then have cesaro move on to singles against Henry,
Big show, I'm hoping lesnar(c) vs cesaro main event for mania 31
With Hogan as cesaros manager

They should build a good 3-4 month rivalry with swagger, this giving swagger the opportunity to up his game and build his worth, and for them both to have a real significant rivalry, and add seb caught in the middle to add to the drama. Give them a series of matches to really build interest.

Pleasant surprise...hearing Cesaro tell Zeb that he is "a Heyman guy". Good job WWE. This is the guy Heyman needs that can keep him on screen while Brock does the part time thing.
