CCS vs. The World

Of course they can. I have no issues with evolution occuring in Survival of the Fittest proportions, because it's only logic. I mean, there's a theory that we see so many diseases now because people are surviving long enough to pass the traits on.

True I don't believe Aligators can become Eagles, but they can co-exist

the bible speaks of Adam and Eve. it never says they didnt look like monkeys. and it never said that they were the ONLY ones, just the first ones. there couldve been various other sets of peoples created after them, that there is just no account of. entirely possible.

So Sly, were you going for that Jesus's birth was based on the birth of Mithras being on December 25 as well? I always thought the belief was that Mithras was born adult from a rock, and that the December 25/winter solstice bit was a misconception.

Go with me on this... You can create anything.

You create a) chicken or b) egg
a) adult or b) infant

Why shouldn't the earth be made with an age?

interesting point that is impossible to say yes or no to. God would have the ability to create something with age, or he could have created something billions of years ago, and then revisited it.

Does anyone else ever get the feeling that God deliberately made religion so convoluted just for his own sick amusement? That right now, he's laughing at us?

nah. ive always belived that religion and all its divisions are nothing but man's bastardiation of god's true, and good intentions.

and my true feeling is that science is merely man's discovery of god's works, and their make up. which makes them entirely capable of co existing. everything in science is true. doesnt mean thats becuase god didnt do it. Its rather arrogant of man to walk around thinking they have it all figured out, and just becuase they figured out the science behind the lord's creations, they can claim them their own, and say god had nothing to do with it. They work in concert, its man's arrogance which creates the conflict.

Good. Maybe you can explain why sacred Christian customs are based upon Pagan traditions that go back as far as over 3000 years ago.

So...I say, if there's a God, you get into Heaven based upon your heart, and not what you accept or what you believe because if God created you, he'd know you, and he'd know how/what you'd do. That's why if I do end up in Heaven, I fully expect God to smile as I punch him in the face, and then we can go chat; but he made me so he should know its coming and welcome it cause he was the one who programed me that way.

If he's willing to take a punch from me, I'd <3 him fo'eber and eber.

I agree entirely with point 1, a basic principle of Deist thought, to which I subscribe. To sum it up brielfy: I do, in fact, believe that the world and universe is too complex a place to have emerged by random happenstance. Therefore, I believe a Creator did, in fact, encourage the Big Bang to occur, thus prompting all our universe to emerge. I do not, however, believe that this Creator loves us, or operates a Heaven and/or Hell. It is simply a being of logic and creation that let the universe exist, and moved on to make more universes. It is a clockmaker - it built a clock, and then let the thing tick away on its own. Like any good clockmaker, it is building more clocks.

I'll try to dumb this concept down for you. God is the creator of the Heavens and the Earth. He created everything on the Earth all the animals all the mountains , rivers , valleys and he created humans.(In his own image) God considers us his children. Why would anybody want to hurt what they created ? God wants the best for us but he gave us minds of our own. That means we have the ability to either believe in God and go to Heaven him. Or dont believe in God and eventualy wind up in Hell. God doesnt want us to go to Hell but he gave us that choice. You saying that you dont know why God would care about us is a little bit dumb. We're his children of course he cares about what happens to us. If you had a child you'd want the best for him right ?
