Bullshit about Movies

I just saw Hellboy for the first time. I can't tell if I liked it or not... I guess that if I can't tell, I probably didn't like it.

I'll be seeing District 9 later today. I'll tell ya me thoughts on it tonight.

Skip it and see District B13: Ultimatum instead. I've been salivating over it for a while now. Maybe it will top the original?!?!?!

Saw District 9 today. Fucking brilliant from start to finish, an A+ film all the way through, and hands down the best film of the year thus far. I'll write up a quick review in the thread in the Movies/TV section.

If you haven't see District 9 yet...go fucking do so, immediately. Shut off your computer, hold a theater employee at gunpoint and make them play the film for you. It's that good.

Is it good fro a Sci-Fi nerdy perspective? Or a mainstream perspective? (I hope you understand what I'm asking...)

It's damn, damn good from a Sci-Fi nerd perspective. That's coming from a huge Star Trek fan, so you can trust me on that one. It's an incredibly intelligent film.

I'm looking at the Movies You Refuse to Watch thread, but I don't want to admit that I don't want to see Godfather.

X, I demand that you defend your hate of Billy Joel.

What would you like me to say? He's blander than bland. He's schmaltzier than schmaltz. He's pure shit. He's released a grand total of about one good song in his entire career. His music is just shit. Pure drivel.

Watched Fight Club last night for the first time in over a year, I didn't really like it all that much, compared to what I used to anyway.

Has anyone seen "The Game" with Michael Douglas? Man, what a fucking awesome thriller and roller coaster ride...

Oh yeah, I love The Game. Very underrated film by Fincher.

There is a just a disgusting amount of action that stris up so much curiosity. You don't know which way the movie is going until it's all over. It reeks of awesomeness...

Everyone: my take on Deep Red was finished yesterday in the Director's Showcase. It's been a long time coming, but half the battle is won. Give me some feedback, and it you guys like the layout, then I'll adopt that format for everything else and get rolling.

I'm going to rent Gomorrah when it gets back in Blockbuster. I figured I'd see it after you gave it such high praise.

I cannot stop laughing at just how fucking terrible and cheesy the intro to Commando is, it makes me laugh every time.

Fucking ridiculous.

Dammit, jmt225, please give me some feedback on the finished Deep Red review, and tell me if I should switch up the template or not. None of these other assclowns are very helpful.

I've thoroughly enjoyed your showcase thus far TDigs. The format is fine. I'm just at a loss for what to say about Argento that you haven't already mentioned.

I'll read it, but I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to foreign film and older film.

If I think I have something really good to input, I'll make a non-spam post of it.
