You really got to see it in theaters with the full 3D in force. It's simply one of the most fun movie to look at I've ever seen, the design and effects put into that film was marvelous. 3D is the way to go man.
So Jake's interpretation of Avatar, which was, "It's like Last Of The Mohicans, but blue and nowhere near as intresting." is not correct?

And the 3D makes it even better.
I'm not a fan of 3D, so I don't plan on seeing the flick at the movie theater, but I will check it out once it's on DVD.
BTW, X... what do you think of the movie Caligula, starring Malcolm McDowell?
Also, I haven't seen Once Upon a Time in America, but I will now after reading what you had to say about it. Hopefully it lives up to expectations.
I also plan on picking up World's Greatest Dad and The Marine 2 on DVD sometime next week. Before anyone says something, The Marine 2 looks like great, cheesy B-Rated action, and I've made it no secrete here that I'm a HUGE fan of B-Rated action films. Also, World's Greatest Dad should be awesome. Cannot wait to see that. Wish I had known it was on DVD sooner.
So I finally got around to watching Irreversible like you recommended X and all I have to say is goddamn.......
So what I'm getting here is X knows his shit about movies.
Do you know French? I couldn't stand to watch a foreign film without subtitles...it'd drive me crazy. But, yes, it should have had subtitles. Gaspar Noe's the man. His first feature-length film, I Stand Alone, was just as brutal and his newest film, Enter The Void, is a trippy mind-fuck and a half.
