Bullshit about Movies

Hey, I still need help!!! Most of you guys love to own people and act like you're geniuses, but where are you when I need help with a simple synonym?

Hm? Man I keep meaning to hit up your Argento thread but I keep forgetting, I'll get to it today, promise.

Watched "River's Edge" yesterday, that movie is so 80's.

I LOVE River's Edge, classic film. Crispin Glover is the bee's knees in that flick.

Right now I'm watching Jackie Chan's First Strike. I haven't seen this movie since I was 11 years old. I used to absolutely love Jackie Chan movies as a kid, so many classic flicks in the 90s. My God the dubbing is absolutely atrocious in this film though, it's on Kai En Tai levels.

Tdigs, you're the words guy, not us. You think anyone here can actually think of a word you're struggling to come up with? Whatever you're smoking man, pass it to X... I'm sure he'll love it. :icon_razz:

Hey Tdigs, ever seen Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Cure? Thoughts?

Is that the one about people getting Xs carved into their necks? I thought it was a good film because of the twist ending, although I can't seem to recall what that ending was. Obviously, though, it hasn't left an impression on me like some other Japanese films.

I was thinking of doing a review of my DVD library, but my girlfriend has forced to make me give it a second thought. Thanks to her, after starting 3:10 To Yuma, I'd have 13 Going On 30 and 27 Dressed to follow...

I watched The Collector yesterday. It was alright. Anybody else seen it? Thoughts?

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Much better than the recent Saw films, great modern B-movie slasher, right up my alley.

I'm watching Pumpkinhead right now. Love this movie.

I liked The Collector. I liked the lead actor in Dirt, so it was nice to see he has a job again. I didn't really have the desensitization issue that some have because I don't watch many horror movies. It was suspenseful, interesting, and that guitar part that was calming, yet slightly off-putting was nice.

Nope. I've seen the Ian Curtis biopic Control though.

I'd recommend this one. The story itself is pretty unique, and the acting isn't as bad as it could be. Don't watch it looking for an Oscar-winning performance by anyone in the cast or crew, but it's not a movie you'll regret watching as the credits roll.

Somehow, I forgot this movie also starred Willem Dafoe.

Just popped in Doom for the first time in a long time. I don't think it's a great movie, but I'm sucker for cheesy action and video games. Zack will be viewing it for the first time...

I'll be starting a non-spam thread on this...But, why is Karl Urban not today's big name action guy?

He has a look to play a kickass villain, or a tough as nails anti-hero, yet he always seems to have a limited supporting role...

While the action is good, and the story is over the top (which is perfect for a video game movie), the script is pretty freaking vanilla.

I still think Rosamund Pike is an underrated beauty as well...

The first time I saw the guy trying to bust open the window with his head, I thought it was sick as hell. Now though, I couldn't help but laugh my ass off. Even Zack was like :wtf:

So yea, Transormers 2 is EASILY one of the most god awful peices of shit ive ever had the misfortune of wasting 3 hours of my life on. You all should be thankfull I saw a bootleg of it, by force, and didnt pay to see it in theatres, for if I had. I most likely wouldve commited suicide afterwards, and then I wouldnt be posting on this site anymore.

Why does this first person scene get killed by so many people? I think it's cool, and it's definitely something you don't see anywhere else...
