How do you know she wont lol.... I agree on WWE not using there women either but TNA had a good thing going in there knockout division for a short while and they dumped it.
I think the problem was the Knockouts were drawing better then the men so they had to shaft it.
And this is why i have only watched tna once in the past year. I have heard that bubba and austin aries are having a program and i a huge fan of both, but ******ed shit like this makes me not want to even watch spike tv even, let alone tna (or impact wrestling or, what other shitty name they want to come up with to make people think that its not complete shit.)

In my view, it'll take more...scratch that. It will take A LOT MORE than Brooke Hogan being in what is likely a kayfabe authority role to "kill" TNA. And even if that day comes where TNA gets absorbed by WWE, it's definitely not a joke or misfire in the same way spin-off ventures like the XFL and WBF were. Again, those two topics are another story for another day. But despite not being a devoted TNA fan, I am still going to maintain my position that this Brooke Hogan "controversy" is no better or no worse when compared to the shit I've seen in wrestling before. I don't recall lecturing you on your intelligence. I actually applaud you on it. What I object to, is your use of of history etc as some sort of justification for what you are saying. Commonly known as 'if it sounds intelligent, it must be right' theory. But if you look a bit deeper, such as, you reducing the discussion to a slanging match at the end, and use of such unintelligent words as twat, and c*nt, I can see you sadly lack any real intelligence, and when someone calls you on it, you resort to name calling.
As for the discussion at hand, it has been stated that Brooke Hogan's role is an offical title, not a tv one. And I agree with you, Steph and Shane got more than a leg up into their jobs, but my point was, at least the were given a chance to be part of the industry, and, work their way up. All Brooke has, is, her awful genetics. I have no problems with kids of superstars getting into the industry, it makes for a good story/comparrison. What I object to, is mind numbing decisions, that make no sense what so ever, that could actually lead to a decline in a company that so badly needs to climb. It won't cripple the industry, but, decisions like this can ruin a company.

Shane and Steph didn't start off in positions of authority though. Hell, Shane was a REF when he first appeared on TV. Plus, being Vince's kids, they were practically groomed for this. Brooke was NOT. She has no experience whatsoever. People aren't bitching that TNA picked her up. It's that TNA picked her up and put her in a position of power over those who are WAY more qualified.

Exactly! Steph even went to college. She may have landed a sweet job, but at least she had some sort of intelligence and qualifications to have a job inside WWE. Hogans 2 bit transexual daughter, has about as much qualifications to run a division, as Chris Benoit had to run a child care centre.
Even though Steiner gets a bad rep for being a hothead, he's alot smarter than people give him credit for. He's seen Hogan back in his WCW days and seen him after the supposed "change" Hogan made before he debuted with Impact. Looks like Steiner doesn't believe it and I do not either. Hogan is always for Hogan. Not the fans, not Impact Wrestling, just Terry Bollea. It couldn't be more obvious that TNA is only interested in making Hogan & Bischoff happy when both of their kids get more airtime than a locker room full of great talents. Go figure, right?

You have guys from wrestlers, to broadcasters to writers to fans that dream of being in the wrestling biz, some of them knows more about wrestling than those in charge and will never get the chance to be there and here failed singer daughter of the boss of the company Brooke Hogan become a on-air talent, in charge of other wrestlers on screen just because she's the daughter of Hulk Hogan. She has no talent, can't sing, can't act, has little knowledge of wrestling and here she walks in and on TNA Impact. It stinks, it's horrible. Nobody wants to see her. Can you place yourself in these fans' shoes?

Okay, this is what I am a little peeved about. Both of Vince's children wanted to be in the wrestling business in some capacity. They wanted to help their father grow the business and make it better than what it was. They had ambition to do it. Brooke Hogan has said that she never wanted to be in the wrestling business. She grew up around it, but she never wanted to be part of it. She wanted to be a singer, that was her only goal. The only reason why she is in the business now is because Dixie was helping her launch her music CD and in turn wanted to help Dixie by throwing out ideas for future Knockouts matches, promos and ring music. My thing is I hope that there is a credible women's wrestler there holding her hand every step of the way so that we don't have a Russo-like product where the knockouts are concerned.
I hope that they just don't go with whatever stupid idea first pops into her head without really analyzing how it will affect future storylines and the knockouts in question. I hope they keep a filter on her and don't just go with whatever to appease her just because she is Hogan's daughter.

I read someplace that in one of her interviews she said that Spike TV was the one to approach her abut coming on.

I can't stand Brooke Hogan. She has no talent whatsoever. She cannot act, she cannot sing, she cannot wrestle, and she is incredibly annoying. I thought that TNA were out of their mind when I found out she got hired. Whether they recognize it onscreen or not, she only got that job because of who her father is. That's the same reason she got her awful excuse for a cd released and why she got any acting role she ever had.
