Tyson Kidd. Future?

He's got to do something different, that's for sure. DH Smith and Nattie have the benefit of being full fledged Harts, but Tyson Kidd is certainly the odd man out at this point. The Hart Dynasty is still in desperate need of a competent mouth piece, and I think the WWE is really shooting their load into trying to get this group over, with as young as they are. The Hart Dynasty should have been another year or two away.

Kidd is the better "wrestler" of the two Hart boys now, but DH has the atypical WWE look to get him to the next level. Smaller guys and the WWE simply don't mix together, and I would imagine a year or two from now when the Hart Dynasty breaks up, Kidd will probably be getting a Future Endeavous letter.

I've got high hopes for the future of Jack Swagger. I find him very interesting and I think he's a wealth of talent that hasn't been tapped into yet. Your thoughts on the All-American American?

This is a guy that has the Atypical WWE look. He's big, what 6'4ish, 250 plus pounds, and he has a decent amateur background. Again my fear with the WWE over last 5 years is there rushing of younger guys to the mid card, and then the guys get log jammed because the 40 plus year olds in the main event won't get out of the way.

I remain cautiously optimistic with the guy. Fora guy with a lyspe (sp?) he's certainly pretty confident on the mic, but I liken his promos to the movie Up and the Dovermain (sp?) pincher witht eh high voice, no matter how intimidating and impressive he looks, you can't stop laughing when he talks.

Swagger has had good matches with guys like Christian, and Tommy Dreamer, even Matt Hardy, but his match with Finlay remains one of the biggest duds of the year, and if Finlay can't get a good match out of you, then that's a bad sign.

Again, I'll use the term, Cautiously Optimistic. I think he's a guy worth keeping around and developing, but I wouldn't bet the farm on him being one of the elites just yet.

What's your opinion on triple H?

Do you like lucha libre? wo you think some luchadors are better than (US) wrestlers but their sizes don't allow them to shine in mainstream media?

LOL, Triple H, I could write a book on this guy. I'll try and keep it short and sweet. I've never liked the guy myself. I couldn't stand him back in teh mid 90's when he broke onto the seen, and always thought he was dragging Shawn Michaels down in DX. I thought DX of 1998 was terrible, and I thought he was rushed to the main event scene in 1999, and was underserving as anyone with his first title reigns.

I began to really enjoy the guy when Mick Foley carried his ass to great matches in early 2000, and the guy played a damn good heel in 2000. I think he had 2 of the top 7 (that's what I've done so far) matches of this decade against Steve Austin at No Way Out 2001, and Shawn Michaels at Summerslam 2002. After that though, when he was handed the World title in September of tha tyear, I lost any interest in the guy. Since 2003 the guy has done nothing new and innovative, and he bores me to tears.

I could really get into specifics with Triple H if you like, but that's just the basic run down.

As far as Lucha, Lucha undoubtedly is my worst subject in the Professional Wrestling Academy. I like it, I think I respect it, but I'm far from an expert in it. I'm only vaguely familiar with some of the larger names (Blue Demon, El Santo, Mil Mascaras) but that was mostly from what Mike Tenay told me in WCW. Most of my exposure was threw watching WCW and it's cruiserweights.

I think size, and particularly the WWE is a huge negative force against anyone coming from Mexico, or under sized for that matter. yes, they might get to the top,b ut it's usually only for a brief moment. I think it's a shame that Rey Mysterio Jr.s entire career pretty much came to a halt when he was given the world title after Eddie's passing. Rey Jr. could flat out go, and was easily deserving of being a world champion, it just sucks taht he got it the way he did, because it essentially made him a joke from that point on.

But Lucha, I'm reading Tastycles new thread on the subject. The man is far more knowledgable in it then I am.

Is there a person in the WWE currently that does a smoother suicide dive than CM Punk? I use suicide dive as a vague term for a dive through the ropes.

I'm not sure. I would guess some of the younger guys, particularly on ECW can do it, but they probably haven't "earned" the right to try one of the "banned" moves yet (i'm pretty sure most of the head first movesi n the WWE are on the banned list still).

I really can't think of anyone. I'm trying to think of some of the more agile guys, and no one really pulls that move off anymore.

Benoits dive into Chris Jerichos chair remains one of the most epic spots ever.

Do you believe CM Punk is deserving of his reputation as a sloppy wrestler who's poor on the stick and shares a gimmick with Jeff Hardy?

No, CM Punk is probably the best wrestler in the WWE today, or at least the one that i enjoy watching the most. I think he needs to give up the G2S though, and come up with something else, plus a submission seems to fit his character better anyway.

I've heard enough of the guy talkign to buy into him myself, the problem with punk is that he doesn't say cute catch phrases or sell T-Shirts. Watch him on any DVD or any interview he does for the WWE out in public, the guy is articulate.

Hmmm, Straight Edge Superstar, or Drug Addicted wrestler that wears paint that matches the hallucinations from whatever substance he is abusing, sounds pretty similar to me.

I just finished reading a bunch of you anti HHH posts. Can I get your opinion on his current status starting with being drafted to RAW?

Well after he was "degraded" by going to Smackdown last year, and only beating everyone on the Roster cleanly, including the Undertaker, we are all blessed once again witht he presence of the King of Keeping it Kayfabe, the 13 time World champion, Triple H.

Raw goes commercial free next week for the first time ever, but with Orton and Triple H in yet another Last Man Standing match (3rd time in elss then two year mind you) I have no desire to watch this Raw, and probably won't.

I personally feel guys like Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and the Undertaker should be part time wrestlers, and a guy like Cena should be the focus of the show.

Personally I'm glad he's off Smackdown. I enjoy watching Jeff Hardy more then Triple H. Smackdown is loaded with talent with guys like Edge, CM Punk, Jericho, Myster, and the Undertaker. With Triple H gone, I actually watch Smackdown and look forward to watching it. If he "served his time" then good, get off and let me enjoy Smackdown in peace.

Personally I enjoy him. I find it hard to believe that people can't at least respect the man and his ability to wow the audience for damn near 2 decades. That's unheard of, especially on the stage he does it.

Two questions.

1. I believe JBL's title reign in 2004 was one of the three best in the past five years. What are your views on it?

2. What do you think has been the best match since 2004? I would say either Angle/Taker at No Way Out 2006 or RVD/Cena at One Night Stand 2006.

I get that everyone likes him, but I just can't get into him at all.

Well it's wrestling, no one has everyone that likes him. I can't stand Steve Austin, doesn't mean I don't appreciate what he's done for the business.

1. Personally I don't like JBL, but there is no denying that his title reign was pretty damn impressive. I'm a sucker for long title reigns, so let me see if I can find 3 better...

Right Away I'd take John Cena's title reign #3 as the beast of all the title reigns. Yes, 2007 was a down year, but teh guy busted his ass. I didn't like him then, and still think he stunk back then, but no denying that that title reign got people talking.

You know what, it might damn well be #2. You can easily throw out anything that Edge, Hardy, Oton or Triple H have done with those titles. I'm looking at the World championship, and nothing there really stands out. Well I'll be damned, yes, JBL has had the 2nd Best world title reign of the last 5 years.

2. Tough, tough decision here.

Instantly I think of Angle vs. the Undertaker at No Way Out. It's one of my favorite matches ever, with two of my top five faves putting on a clinic.

RVD vs. Cena was a fun match as far as atmosphere, but as far as quality of match, I'm not sure if it's up there.

Likewise with Edge vs. Mick Foley, I love this match,a nd I think it's the best gimmick match since then. Edge is solid, and Mick Foley is god, so you can't go wrong there.

However, I'm leaning with Michaels vs. the Undertaker, but not yet ready to make it official. It's still fresh in my mind, and I think I need more time.

Angle vs. HBK at Mania 21 is also about as solid as they come.

Your thoughts on the slow death of the Tag Team Division in WWE?

Is the Tag Team Division in TNA where it's at in Tag Team Wrestling Today?

What are your thoughts on Tag Team Wrestling In General?

I'm a huge mark for submission finishes. Which do you think was the most over and effective submission hold in wrestling? My vote goes to Angle's Ankle lock due to the numerous big match wins he has due to the hold and the numerous avenues of application.

that was only because I made sure to watch the Chris Benoit Tribute Show.

And how did you feel about tribute show the day after? I felt bad for not only watching it, but taping it! I taped over it as soon as I could! Who knows how long it will before I'm able to see him as a wrestler and watch his matches again!

What are your thoughts on Benoit?

Curious on your opinion of good ol' Jim Ross? Legendary or Overated?

Legend. Certainly he's fallen in recent years, and like me, is probably out of touch with the younger generation of fans and what they want. However, you can't deny that his work in the Attitude Era was top notch. The call of Foley's Cell throw is one of the best calls ever, if not the best of all time.

Yes, Old JR can get a bit over zealous, especially in his asskissery of Steve Austin, but the guy is passionate. Personally I thought the pairing of Heyman and Jim Ross was much better then anything the King and JR have ever done.
