I did, and the fight went exactly the way I thought it would. Noons is a tough and legitimate contender but Diaz showed why he is one of the most underrated fighters out there today. People wanted to discredit Diaz' striking, saying that Noons had an advantage there. I never really understood that; Diaz has shown he has a very hard striking style to figure out. It's short, jabby style punching but still powerful enough to count. I would have liked to see Diaz sub him, but standing and out striking Noons probably proved more.
I honestly see Diaz back in the UFC before next year is over.
I completely agree. Would you rank Diaz in the top 10 P4P list yet?
Well, I think it depends mostly on what his contract with Strikeforce is like. Coker likes to boasts that Diaz is in for the long term, so you never know just what Diaz could be stuck in at the moment.
Also, from everything I've read, Diaz doesn't get paid nearly enough. If they want a grudge fight between Diaz and Mayhem, then they better offer the guy the big bucks for it, otherwise SF is going to be exposed for how shitty of a company they really are.
