The DVD is on my shopping list... Im going to do a deal type thing with a local shop where you can buy 6 DVDs for the price of 3, but they have to be the same DVD type. So, I have PD, Arch Enemy & Metallica on the list so far.

It's the same thing as judging films. If someone says that Weekend At Bernies 2 is a better film than Citizen Kane, they're wrong. I don't care if it's their opinion, they are wrong.

Hey X, while I bowed to your knowledge in music and overall presence on the subject.. I just had to come back to this point when I seen it.

Earlier you (or someone) mentioned that a Pro Sports player is defined as one of the best, based off actual facts and stats.

You more or less came back by saying that an opinion on music being good or bad, can be proven wrong, based on.. journalism and critics.

How can one person (or multiple people) have an opinion that is correct, and someone else have an opinion that is incorrect?

While I understand critics got their job, by having a decent presence for what they're bad mouthing, but let's not forget - its generally there job to find the bad in things, more than the good. And on this note, when you break things down in the very end.. all a critic's opinion is.. is their own. Its not a proven fact, just because they wear a name tag that claims they might have a slight clue what they're talking about.

News flash for you.. its the overall community, and the people listening to the music, buying the albums, etc.. that prove whats good and whats not. Not a critic, or multiple critics, in grumpy moods saying something sounds decent or like shit.

So.. again, while I respect your views on music, I just felt like I needed to correct you on this one aspect. My Opinion is NOT wrong, just because a critic doesn't see things as I do. Its merely one opinion against another. Neither person is right, or wrong, in this case.
