Are you basing this solely on "Where the Wild Things Are"? Because you need to hear the entire "funeral" album to judge them.

That's what introduced me to them. "Wake Up" played on the commercials for 2 months. I like them, but I like some indy bands. I can understand if people don't like them though.
 
yea my dad was a dead head so I grew up listening to music like The Grateful Dead, Crosby Stills Nash, Hendrix, etc.

Good stuff, kind of strange that you listen to hippie music but lean towards the right/conservative side of the aisle. Baffles me actually.

Arcade Fire actually have some good songs Jaen, especially Rebellion (Lies). Their album Funeral is really, really good. Haven't heard their other stuff yet.
