the problem is no one but Russo ever got it.

Seeing as how he was the booker/writer in both WWF and WCW during the single most popular time in wrestling history, I think some people like Russo's work KB.

Russo is great infact. But for every great idea he has, he has a terrible one. I give him credit for actually having the balls to push the envelope and have an adult wrestling show. Take for example the angle he came up with about Hawk and his drug addiction catching up with him in the LOD in 1998. That was a brilliant angle (though they should NOT have used someone who actually WAS a drug addict like Hawk was) and that's the kind of things that I like from Russo.

But then for every creative angle like that, we've got shit like David Arquette as champ. It's like Russo has to balance out all of his great ideas with fucking atrocious ones.

In this angle, they're both partially right and partially wrong. I don't see where you instantly assign each guy a side. Russo is booking, so everyone is a tweener until further notice, Hogan and Jarrett both walk in to the arena as faces, and something has to happen to turn either one.

Yes, let's ignore all the good and focus on the combined total of about 10 minutes that the old guys have gotten on this episode of Impact.



FACT: The Young Bucks got more on-camera time on this Impact than the Nasty Boys. Or Val Venis. Or "The Band".

Not to bring Sidious-like negativity to the discussion, but I'm still not seeing "all the good" you're talking about.

As Ric Flair enters the arena. On the heels of a Hogan/Bischoff/Jarrett encounter.

OK, the Young Bucks were great. Nigel was good, but I've never been a fan of Joe. Personally I haven't seen anything to live up to the hype that you TNA fans try to create from such a lacklustre show.

But I'm still watching and still waiting. Who knows, maybe Mick Foley will come out and save the day.

I'm fairly sure KB and I are starting to see eye to eye a bit more than we were a few short weeks ago.

It was all over the main page months ago, that Jarrett and Foley were going to be the bad guys here, because Hogan is riding in on his white pony, saving the company, and Jarrett is holding it back.



I'm starting to hope more and more than Dixie pulls the plug on Hogan in TNA soon, just so the company can be salvaged before it gets too bad...

I think Russo is great, but he needs a stable ship.

When he's got things planned out you get consistently good shows, but when the boat starts getting rocked then he has a bad habbit of letting things get swept under the run or take nonsensical turns.

Best writer in the business though.
