All WWE '12 Discussion

Agreed. As I said, I've downloaded a Kurt Angle CAW but I still haven't been able to get Jericho or any of the arenas that I want. And when I downloaded Angle, it only let me in there for about five minutes.
 
Bought this game last night and started playing today. Holy shit. It's sooo hard the first time out. I did 5 matches as CM Punk against Santino and won twice. The controls were really hard to get ahold of. The more I played though, the more I understood. It's still pretty frustrating.

I started Universe mode and in the first match I was the Rock and lost to Miz. It pissed me off. Then in the week's main event, I was Cena against (???) which ended up being Goldust and barely won. Shit's exhausting. Still pretty cool though.
 
People need to chill on the servers, you have to understand that everyone is getting this game right now, & jumping online to do everything. The servers are just get overloaded & can't handle all the constant traffic they're getting, as time passes less people will be online doing shit & the servers won't be as crowded & it'll be easier to get on & play or take care of whatever shit you want to take care of.
 
Expecting THQ to program the servers so that they can handle high activity is not unreasonable.

I don't recall this being a problem last year, either.

Neither is expecting them to allow me to configure the controls however the hell I want, but I didn't get that. There is so much other shit to do with this game without having to get on the servers, that it's just not the big of a deal to me, especially since the extra traffic will likely be gone within the next month or so.
 
I've bought the Game today, second day of release in the U.K.

Played it for a short while, not had too much time to do it, but I do love it already. Little things annoy me, I'll talk about them later on!

Well, people want to use created arenas/superstars/etc. to do some of the other shit. And I don't blame anyone who doesn't want to do it themselves when, theoretically, they could just download what they need. Which has been the case in the last two games, and now everyone's used to it.

So I don't feel as though the "other shit" is a justification for THQ screwing up here. They should have made sure that they had this shit sorted out before the game was released.

Well its not a lazyness thing, its just that other people out there are about ten fucking times better at making CAWS than I am
 
The gameplay is beautiful, although I hate the camera angles. I also hate the way the wrestlers bounce off the ropes and the fact that Justin Gabriel's and Heath Slater's roster pictures show them with Nexus armbands.

Despite those things, this is shaping up to be a pretty nifty little game.
 
oh my god, that's awesome.

I just started a RR match. They do the announcement "It is now time for the RR Match." Then he goes on and explains the rules.

1. Throw them in the ropes.

2. Grapple while they are on the apron, groggy against the ropes, or whatever.

3. A press the button first minigame then starts. Win that.
 
by the way, the game told me how to eliminate, thanks to an in-game tutorial that automatically loaded the first chance I had to eliminate guys from the various positions.

I would not suggest trying to win it with anyone below the number 25.

my character began to just simply fall down after a while when I tried to escape bad situations quickly. :lmao:
 
Just played that new free brawl match i think THQ is onto something with that match but something just doesn't feel right about it i think its that we can't go from the arena to backstage which would be fucking amazing.

I loved the new format for eliminations in the Rumble. I'd rather have a well-timed button pressing minigame then a mash the buttons minigame.

And I did a 10 man Rumble before getting eliminated midway through because I was not paying 100% attention to which button to press to evade elimination.

Free Brawls are fun. I just wish they ended when you wanted them to, instead of when the guy gets KOed. I'd rather beat the crap out of the guy for 10 minutes then do it for 2 until he doesn't get up.
 
EPIC Brock Lesnar shit going down in WWE Universe which caused many storylines to unfold. I continued my title reigns from SVR11 which had Punk as WWE champion for like 10 months so here's how the storyline has gone down

.Brock resigns with WWE beats the shit out of CM Punk
.Orton watches the Punk/Brock match the week after
.Orton RKO's Brock after the match
.Brock Vs Orton the week after
.Lesnar gets mad and throws the ref across the ring for the DQ
.Brock wins the Rumble and chooses Orton at Mania
.Brock is undefeated leading in to Mania and causes injurys to Cena/Punk
.Punk has to vacate the title
.Del Rio wins the WWE title in the finals of the tournament
.Rey beats Del Rio at Mania
.Lesnar wins World title at Mania and after the match Punk returns from a injury and runs down to save Orton from a beating
.Brock is trying to take over the WWE as he beats Rey for the WWE title and has brought back the undisputed title!!
.Smackdown's main title is now the I.C title which belongs to Daniel Bryan and Cody Rhodes brings back the European title and has to defend against the returning Sin Cara!!!
.Extreme Rules Main Event is CM Punk Vs Brock Lesnar for the undisputed title as its the undefeated Brock Lesnar Vs The guy who never lost the WWE title after a 10 month reign CM Punk.

WWE'12/WWE Universe is epic
 
How do you get Brock Lesner?

RTWM is pretty awesome, though I had to take a break... fucking migraines man:disappointed:

Haven't tried universe mode or created any wrestlers
