2016 NBA Finals

It was like they couldn't cut the lead once they had it down to 7. If just one of them could have hit a 3 it would've been interesting. I was stunned once they had it to 6 but that period where the lead was stuck at 7 really was frustrating considering all the wide open shots Golden State had.

At least Cavs fans will get a chance to see the trophy after game 6.

A lot of questionable lineups from Golden State's side as well. Way too much Varejao, and when he was in he was a complete minus. I know Bogut got hurt, but Mo Speights at least gives you offense compared to Varejao just bricking free throws and flopping all over the fucking place. Barnes should have been yanked because his confidence was absolutely shot. Cleveland was more than happy to give him the wide open shots because he wasn't gonna hit a damn thing.

And then you bring in Brandon Rush like some sort of secret weapon? Lol.

I get the Warriors had 3 games to finish this, but there was no sense of urgency all game from them. Very sloppy play, their defense which has been their backbone for so long just completely disappeared. Even with Green being out it shouldn't have been that horrendous. While Cleveland left their starters out, the Warriors bench got absolutely feasted on. It's the Finals, it was a tied game at the half, leave your starters in and try to close it out.

That all being said, Cleveland did what they had to do, but they shortened their bench significantly to do it. Green coming back should provide a big spark, and I'm curious if fatigue will be an issue for the Cavs for Game 6 now.

Can't do shit when Irving and LeBron are white hot like that, sometimes everything just goes in, it also doesn't help when GS can't hit an open shot to save their lives. Draymond wouldn't have mattered tonight, Cleveland just got and stayed hot the whole game.

Golden States a fun team but god damn they take some of the dumbest shots ever. All game they played VERY sloppy and really didn't deserve a win.

God Varejao deserves an Oscar. Everytime somebody touches him, he hits the floor. I loved it. Made me laugh. GS just straight up got their ass whipped in game 5. I wished Green had of played because now the commentary is going to be, "GS without Green lost to the Cavs". With Lebron and Irving playing like that, Green be damned.

Harrison Barnes continues to throw away millions with each missed shot.

Should just sit the rest of the series because his stock is only dropping with each game.

Golden State you continue to frustrate with your ridiculous passing and taking 3's when there's a wide open lane in front of you.
That's okay, they can always count on the Cavaliers going for minutes at a time without moving on offense, resulting in contested three point shots. Like what happened at the end of the third quarter.

If Iggy is seriously injured Golden State really have to just go for it now.

They're not beating Cleveland without Iggy no matter where the game is played.

I think if this series (and even last year's) has proven anything, it's that there is no question who is still the best player in the NBA.

Point is the Cavs are winning. What Lebron did last year, as great as it was, didn't result in the Cavs winning. That's not in any way criticizing Lebron.
