2016 NBA Finals

Man so devo'd I had to work during game 7, looked like a killer game to. Green and Bron take a bow, Irving deserves some kind of medal for how awesome he has been since game 2. Will definitely watch it when I get home but go Cavs! Very happy for Lebron.

How's those 3 pointers going for you now goldenstate. 6-24 from the splash bros, LOL!

I think this year's Warriors are still probably the greatest team of all time, even without the championship. Just because they lost one 7 game series (and only just barely), that doesn't undermine how incredibly talented they are, how deep their team is, how well coached they are, and what chemistry they play with.

The Cavs got great performances out of James and Irving while a lot of the Warrior's best guys faltered, and Curry just seemed to go cold at the wrong time. Let's not forget that Green also missed game 5, which was crucial.

I have a lot of respect for the Warriors. I rooted against them as soon as the playoffs started, but I respect the hell out of how well they play the game of basketball.

But back to the winning team...

I just can't get over what a story this is. Everyone wanted to call Lebron a traitor when he went to Miami, but he comes back and he brings a championship to not just Cavs fan, but the city of Cleveland.

Amazing. Shakespearean almost.

So happy for Lebron and what a game. You couldn't script a better story.

Sly, so then by your arguments, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the greatest player of all time, right?

Gotta say I 100% agree. All year I have thought GSW would be stopped. I almost got even the exact playoff teams I wanted them to go against (swap Blazers with Clippers, which should've been that way anyways), even in the order. Every game though they proved me wrong. Fantastic D with an uptempo pace has never happened like it did with the Warriors and it was entertaining to watch no matter if you were going for or against the Warriors. The OKC series really showed Golden States enormous heart. For this series it was just unfortunate the league got involved with game 5.

I'm not a fan of the Warriors but my respect for them at the moment is as high as it could ever get. Defied the odds all season and we're just unlucky today wasn't there game to cap off a historical season.

In saying that, I'm not gonna sit here and act like I'm not happy about atleast from looking at it from a distance that Chicago Bulls = Warriors is atleast the starting point for most arguements between the two instead of it being warriors > Bulls straight away.

Regardless heaps of players had an awesome game during the series and it was good to watch. It went from such an average series to one for the ages so quickly.

Irving needs a throne for what he did as well.

What a great game and what a great series (even if the games themselves weren't always close). It's good to see how much this win meant to so many of the players and coaches.

Make your case and we can debate it.
