IDR, opinion on Carl Hagelin? I ask because he is a Michigan Wolverine, and I may end up rooting for the Rangers just because of him...

Hagelin is awesome. A revelation of sorts this season. Fast as lightning. Has been playing on the first line with Gaborik and Richards in the postseason because they can just dump the puck behind the goal line and he'll speed over there and get it.


Did Brendan "I want to screw the Rangers" Shanahan ever explain why he didn't even review Ovechkins hit on Girardi? I don't think he has yet (nor will he). 3 games for elbows to the head, but no review of a leaping John Cena-esque shoulder block to the head. Either way, another Game 7 at The Garden, it'll be a good one. Hopefully.

Going back to the Bryzgalov bit, it should be no wonder to anyone why he's sucked in Philly. PRESSURE!! Sure he was fantastic in Phoenix. That means nothing when you sign a huge contract in Philly especially considering Philly hasn't had a real goalie since Ron Hextall. Some goalies can handle pressure and some can't. Bryz should try being James Reimer or Carey Price for a day if he thinks Philly is bad (and it is but I don't think it's anything compared to Toronto or Montreal.)
