12 votes secured for Mariko Yoshida

So?

Aren't I supposed to vote for who I want/think/hope/desire etc. win?

But your supposed to take the stipulation's of the match into consideration too before you vote, because who you personally want to win could be different from who would win realistically. You don't honestly believe that Trish would have a shot against Mariko in Japan, wrestling a match under joshi rules do you?

If the tournament was based solely on personal belief on who I liked the best, then I should just cancel the tournament right now and declare Cheerleader Melissa the winner shouldn't I?

Yes, I do. And I think she would.

I've seen Cena go into Edge's backyard, and in Edge's match the TLC match, and beat him, why can't Trish do the same?

That's what I've said all along about the other tournament, but apparently that means I'm "crying".

Because the match won't be in WWE, its not a match under WWE rules and regulations, its a match under AJW rules and regulation's taking place in Japan.

A different country, a different style, a different type of pro wrestling

Pro wrestling in WWE and Pro Wrestling in Japan are completely different, two completely different styles. Trish has never wrestled a joshi match before and I highly doubt that If this match ever did take place under these conditions, that Trish would beat one the best women's wrestlers that Japan has ever had in Mariko Yoshida.

I can't stop people from voting who they want to vote for, if you seriously want to vote for Trish over in this situation, then by all means go for it, nothings stopping you

The whole reason why I promoted the Trish/ Mariko match is because I knew people would be biased when it came to voting, and you've pretty much proven that assumption correct by stating over and over again that you don't want to do the research and make an educated vote.

I get what Sly's saying though. This isn't like the other tournament where "Hardcore Rules" or ring stipulation come into play. Joshi style is just a generic term for Japanese Women's wrestling, if I'm wrong correct me.

Now Yoshida can dictate the pace and style of the match, then fine, she should win. It's perfectly logical though that if somehow Trish managed to gain an upper hand and turn it into her style of match, that she could pull of the win. I think someone like Trish isn't going to be effected by the crowd. In fact, I enjoyed heel Trish and thought she fed off the crowd very well.

Now I'm not saying who I'm voting for, but I think the Joshi style is getting over played in this. If Yoshida controls the pacing of the match, then it's a big factor. It's like having a hardcore match with Chavo Guerrero vs. the Big Show. Sure, Chavo can use a chair to his advantage, but how the hell is he going to hit the Big Show if Show never gives him an opening. Same logic goes here. If Trish somehow manages to get an early advantage, this match could be interesting.

In ring talent, Yoshida wins hands down.
