This may seem like an odd thread to some people, because they consider a "Push" when a talent consitantly beats another person and are made to look strong and pushed up the card.
For my definition of push I am just going to say being pushed up the card, and For Zack Ryder going from Superstars Jobber to a weekly comedy segement on Raw the past few weeks is a pretty significant push.
Obviously at this point it seems like they are going the "comedy jobber " route with his charcter, which isn't a bad thing for everybody. Some just don't have the look/charisma/gimmick to be a main eventer, and there have been multiple talents (i.e. Santino) who have made careers in the WWE as a comedic/enhancement talent. They get consistant T.V. time and because of it, and get fairly over. Being on T.V. is never a bad thing, if you stay on consistantly and do well at the role you are given you it can obviously lead to a larger push ( i.e. Evan Bournes Current push, sure he was a jobber but he stuck with it, did a good job with it and is receiving some sort of push currently, and yes main eventing with cena and pinning edge cleanly is a pretty large push, not to mention the extra T.V. Time he has been getting for the past few weeks in his mini-saga with Ryder)
So the question, Do you enjoy the current "Zack Ryder" comedy-esque low card character, and are you happy to see him receiving a push?"
Personally I think he is doing a mediocre job in the lower card, and could improve his character substainally. I felt like he was the worst part of the "hit on Ryder " segment. He obviously has the potential to be a very funny character and do a much better job (even in the current comedy -- Jobber role he could improve quite a bit). I can SEE myself enjoying him, and I can see him being a very good character, but he currently for some odd reason just isn't clicking.
Unfortenatly after all the time and work he has spent on it in the past, I just don't know if he has it in him to cut it much longer. I could definatly see him getting future endevoured or sent back to FCW to be re-packaged soon if his current characters overall entertainment dosen't improve soon.
