You all complain bout Zack Ryder's gimmick, so...

I do not think that Zack Ryder should really change anything about his gimmick. He is really cool the way he is. He is different and he stands out. He is extremely entertaining. He does not have to get a major push. He should just be on tv more and should have his own segments and stuff. Ryder can be used to entertain people. He could have some cool feuds with people and he does not have to compete for titles. It would be nice to see him eventually win the tag team championship, the Intercontinental championship, or the United States championship. Don't change anything about him!

Well, the WWE could make him a face but that is the only change needed.

 

[The Brain]

the obvious finally dawned on me. Of course the IWC would get behind a guy who gets most of his exposure on the internet. I wouldn’t change anything about Ryder’s gimmick. I would add to it. He should keep his look and personality as is. He should become the social media guy. He’s already got the Youtube videos. Now he needs to take that to the arena.

I would pair him with William Regal. Regal isn’t doing anything now either and he is always comedy gold. I think this could be a very entertaining duo. I’d like to see Ryder approach Regal for advice on how to get further in the business. He could say he respects Regal as a veteran and wants him to be his mentor. Ryder needs to keep his current personality though so his can clash with Regal’s. I want to see Ryder bring his iphone to the ring with him and tweeting from the corner during tag matches. These should be actual tweets that go out to his followers. For example, Ryder and Regal are in a tag match. Ryder does something basic like a suplex. He tags Regal and immediately picks up his phone. He tweets something like “teaming with my broski Billy and just hit a sweet suplex. You know it.” That actual tweet goes out to followers during the match as Regal looks on pissed off. I’d also like to see his phone get an alert while he’s the legal man. He could have someone in a chinlock when he hears his phone go off. He immediately releases the hold and tags Regal so he can check his phone which of course would further piss off Regal. Ryder should open a facebook page that is 100% gimmick and accept any friend requests from fans. He should posts pics of him and Regal out at clubs with Regal looking miserable and out of place the whole time. Maybe we could get some segments where Ryder takes Regal tanning or shopping for a new wardrobe or something. The odd couple formula just never gets old. Maybe Regal can eventually embrace Ryder’s lifestyle as Ryder rubs off on Regal rather than the other way around.

It’s almost 2 am and my brain went to sleep about a half hour ago so maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about, but I see some great comedy potential here. I think Regal is the perfect guy to get Ryder over.
