WWE's Spring Cleaning

Occasional Pre-Show
Well, WM28 is in the rearview mirror and if history repeats itself like it has every year....it is almost time for roster cuts. The WWE's annual tradition of trimming the fat and handing out a lot of of "future endeavors". So with that in mind who do you guys (and gals) think will get the boot this time around.

If I had to make a prediction it would be:
JTG
Ezekiel Jackson
Jinder Mahal
Yoshi Tatsu
Tyler Reks

I am sure there will be others including those from FCW being let out of thier development contracts but the names above are the ones that stand out to me.

Note to the Mods: I wasnt sure where to post this thread so if it needs moved go right ahead.

MOD NOTE:

YOU MUST BACK UP ALL OF YOUR CHOICES WITH GOOD REASONING, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE IN VIOLATION OF OUR SPAMMING RULES AND WILL BE WARNED/INFRACTED AND YOUR POST WILL BE DELETED!!

I do not WANT this person to be cut but he probably will:
*JTG- I was a HUGE fan of him during his cryme tyme days, once they broke that stable off he was pretty much done.

I NEED these people to be cut:
*Johnny Curtis- never liked him, i dont see much in him.
*jinder mahal- At first, i thought he would be the next Muhammad Hassan, THEN i saw his ring work
*Great Khali- No skill. Period.
*Heath Slater- in the Nexus, he seemed at least decent in the ring, and had a tiny bit of mic skills, now, he has nothing.
*HORNSWAGGLE- No reason for him at all.

Any wrestler with that has an international flavour (Yoshi Tatsu, Jinder Mahal, Zeke) will not be future endeavoured. They are valuable in helping WWE expand their global market share.

It's hard to say who will or wont be fired. Tyler Reks, Alex Riley and Hunico could all be on their way out. I could see Evan Bourne being released, especially considering his recent injury (personally, I would have fired him after the second positive drug test).

I don't think many wrestlers should be released. WWE has a good pool of talent, and those with less talent either serve a purpose (Great Khali) or are in the development process (Heath Slater).

Wrestlers that i think hold the maximum chances of being bid goodbye this year with reasons:

1. Alex Riley: Hasn't done pretty much anything since Capitol Punishment last year.
2. Curt Hawkins, 3. Trent Barretta, 4. Johnny Curtis (if he hasn't been F.E.'ed already): Jobbers. That's their one and only role- To lose to returning guys. The people in this category are always in the danger zone at this time of the year.
5. Jinder Mahal: They already have Khali. They don't need another bad worker just because he is Indian. Its worth pointing out that he was in a good spot last year, then Khali's sudden departure led to his instant downfall. He will be future endeavored as soon as his 1-year contract is up.
6. J.T.G.: Since Cryme Time split, this guy is totally lost. His departure won't make any difference to the company, just one less mouth to feed.
7. Drew McIntyre: From 'the chosen one', he has now become 'the left-out one'. Can't talk, Can't act... His time is up.
Same with 8. Tyler Reks: Don't think I saw him in a match after Bragging Rights... Unless he does some other backstage job, like Sweeper or something...
9. Tyson Kidd: They clearly have nothing in store for him at the moment. And with big names returning, its unlikely that they will.
10. Heath Slater: He was in the same level as Justin Gabriel and Yoshi Tatsu. But Gabriel can do a 450 splash; Tatsu can do some flashy kicks including the Roundhouse kick. Whereas he is stuck with the weaker version of CrossRhodes- Sweetness. Plus those guys can bring in audience from South Africa and Japan respectively. He can't. So long, Mr. One man Rock band!

Wrestlers I'd like to see out:
1. Jack Swagger: Boring in the ring, Boring on the mic. If you can't give him anything new, just send him out.
2. Theodore D. Long: With him losing the G.M. rank to Mr. Lauranitis, There isn't much left for him to do. Its a good time for him to go out for a few months.
3. Some of the Divas: Alicia Fox, Kaitlyn, Bella Twins : I see them so less often, I don't even remember all of their names. Do they even get paid? For wrestling, that is. For its quite possible that they have a side business going on as well ;)
4. Hunico (and his partner that sports sunglasses even at night): We have seen enough of these two, and can say without the slightest doubt that their departure won't make any difference to anyone whatsoever.
That's all folks!

Tyler Reks? I'm sorry, but are you stupid? He's in a Tag Team with Curt Hawkins, he shouldn't be fired. WWE NEEDS Tag Teams and you want a member of the best Tag Team at the moment to get fired.
Reks & Hawkins should be champions, not Primo & Epico.

Evan Bourne - Don't really want him to be fired, but he's got two Wellness Strikes. Also, Bourne had a really prominent spot on the card. Releasing Bourne alone might mean they don't have to fire that many others, much like Edge's forced retirement did last year. Also I think releasing Bourne might be better for wrestling as a whole. He already has a huge indy fanbase, made it to the WWE himself, and now with WWE star power, Matt Sydal (or maybe rename himself "Evan B. Sydal") can return to the indies as a hero, and boost the name value of any indy promotion he wants to work for.

Sin Cara - Injury prone, failed pet project. He's not a "terrible wrestler" but the fact that he doesn't speak English is a huge communication issue in the ring.

The Great Khali - He's a celebrity in India, but he's not very mobile in the ring.

Hornswoggle - I liked him when he was Finlay's sidekick and Finlay used him as a weapon. He's best served as a sidekick, not as a main attraction. Put him with a heel wrestler, and he can be a devilish imp that does anything to help his man win. Put him with a face and he can help get them over, like he did with Titus O'Neil. However, Hornswoggle should always be the sidekick, not the main attraction. If they can't learn how to use him, they should just let him go.

Future Endeavored List:
Alex Riley: had a good push then nothin'...
JTG: How he still has a job boggles my mind...
Layla: Been off TV forever
Trent Barreta: Lame

Hornswoggle isn't going anywhere anytime soon... so many kids love the little fella. Get over it. As for the "suprise" release, ill go with McIntyre and Mason Ryan.

Any wrestler with that has an international flavour (Yoshi Tatsu, Jinder Mahal, Zeke) will not be future endeavoured. They are valuable in helping WWE expand their global market share.
couldn't have said it better myself

Evan Bourne has been, and Alex Riley was rumoured to be in the dogbox, so their chances of getting the boot are a little higher I reckon, since WWE doesn't seem to want to use them.

Most of the jobbers that are expected to be cut always seem to stay on, I've been predicting that guys like Hawkins, Reks and JTG would be cut for a few years now, but they never are.

They won't release Ryan until they have fed him to Lesnar... I think the surprise release could be your guys like Miz or Booker T. Anyone who has been vocal against the Rock or Brock is likely to go first...

Hasnt Tyson Kidd just been paired with Justin Gabriel? I see him getting a run at that first before the chop. I actually like Tyson Kidd. Great wrestler.

Trent Barretta, Johny Curtis, Evan Bourne can all go for me. Hawkins and Reks will be ok. Hawkins helped Rock prepare for his WM28 match along with Joe Henning. Having Rock on side wont harm him. Zeke Jackson could be in danger. He has international appeal but Tensai, Mason, Brock, Ryback...enough room for another big man? Hmmmm.

JTG...he needs to go. He has had more lives than Scotty 2 Hotty. As does Heath Slater.

I hope they keep Alex Riley. Move him to Smackdown and have him take Cody Rhodes mid card spot. Rhodes looks like he is moving up the ladder.

If people watched NXT (not that I blame anyone for skipping it) they might have different ideas about who's headed for the chopping block.

Take Tyler Reks for example. The Reks/Curt Hawkins team is absolutely stealing NXT right now. They're the most entertaining tag team in ages and are definitely in the plans for the coming year.

Same for Johnny Curtis. In fact, NXT right now is built around Curtis, Derrick Bateman, Reks/Hawkins, Katelyn, Maxine, Tyson Kidd, and Michael McGillicuty. All of them will be sticking around for the next year, probably pushing out other low-carders.

It's people who AREN'T showing up on NXT that will find themselves pushed out.
- Ezekiel Jackson
- JTG (didn't even realize he was still around)
- Yoshi Tatsu (even if he's popular in Japan, there are plenty of Japanese talents that could take his place)
- Trent Baretta
- Alex Riley
- Jinder Mahal
- Darren Young
- Titus O'Neil
- Percy Watson - these last three show up on NXT quite a bit but I don't know if there's room for all three to stick.
- any diva outside of Kelly Kelly, Beth Phoenix, Eve, or AJ.

Other people who won't be leaving:

Great Khali - Yes, Khali sucks. On tv. But for a live crowd, he's a major attraction. You'll always remember the biggest guy you saw. For that reason along with the much-discussed international connection, Khali will probably stick around as long as he can.

Heath Slater - sure, he's a midcard jobber, but he's the go-to midcard jobber. Unlike most of the low card, Slater has a clearly defined role, they always find something for him to do on Smackdown. Plus he's getting more entertaining. Heath is here for a while, even if he never gets much of a push.

Drew McIntyre: Why, I don't know, but he seems to have earned a stay of execution. He's basically the Smackdown version of Swagger, a midcard villain who can job out but is recognizable enough to be somewhat credible.

Other, bigger names that could go:

- Evan Bourne: for all the reasons mentioned, plus he was boring and they have Justin Gabriel in place for the "crowd pleasing high spot" role.

- Ted Dibiase: They have stuck with Dibiase through thick and thin, and nothing he's done has ever been interesting in the slightest. I can see him hanging on, though, like McIntyre.

- Sin Cara: the key here is Sin Cara's contract. How big is it? (I'm assuming pretty big, as he was already a major star) Is part of it guaranteed? If WWE's financial obligation is significant, he'll stay around. If they can get out of it unscathed, it would probably be mighty tempting to cut a fat salary that has so far delivered, to put it mildly, disappointing results.

- Teddy Long: It's just been long enough. Make him a manager, put him behind the scenes for a while, whatever. Time for a break.

The fact Heath Slater got a speaking role with a guest star at Mania makes me think someone in management likes him.

In truth I'd try to pair some of these suggestions into tag teams and give the division some depth.

Two I can definitely see being cut though are Curtis and JTG unless he gets that Marine 3 role.

I hope they keep Alex Riley. Move him to Smackdown and have him take Cody Rhodes mid card spot. Rhodes looks like he is moving up the ladder.

I think that Riley would be suited as the face counterpart of Dolph Ziggler. The guy that can take the main event heels to the limit but always lose. Have him job to the likes of Henry, Kane, and Daniel Bryan in competitive matches, but don't have him be squashed the way he was on Monday.

for those that keep saying trent baretta or the one guy who said layla due to "not being on tv" remember both of them were injured and are recovering from that...

I could easily see JTG, Jinder Mahal, A-Ri, Darren Young, Percy Watson, Titus o'neil (as others have all said)

but also I could see

Aksana (why would she be around without teddy long)
Camacho
Maybe the Uso's?
Mason Ryan?
Matt Striker?
Ranjin Singh (yeah he's still on the list of "superstars"

Whoever it was who said Layla earlier - Seriously? She's one of the best divas the WWE have right now, she's great as either a face or heel. All the other 'Barbie dolls' could learn a thing or two from her. Releasing her would be a mistake.

There are a few I view as potential candidates for releasing in the near future.
JTG: He's good for a jobber, but that's about it really. I loved him as part of Cryme Tyme, but those days are behind us now. Never understood why he and Shad weren't released at the same time...
Evan Bourne: Two wellness policy violations are not a good thing, and it's worse when they're in such a close proximity. I don't want to see Bourne get released, especially after he started having a good 2011, but at this point in time, it's looking like he's well on his way to it.
Alex Riley: Wasn't Riley de-pushed last year for being 'dangerous' in the ring? I never saw much in him from the beginning. He was a good sidekick to The Miz, but that's about all he really had going for him.

1. Evan Bourne - Two wellness policy violations, a serious injury that would shelve him for a while...not hard to believe he'll get the axe.

2. Jimmy Uso - I would say both the Uso Brothers would get released, but knowing WWE in recent years, they'd only cut the weakest link. Jimmy got arrested for DUI, so it should be no surprise he'll get "future endeavored".

3. Hunico - With Primo and Epico doing their thing as Tag champs, Hunico ain't got much to do. Considering his only claim to fame so far in the WWE was being the Sin Cara imposter, I don't think Hunico has much of a future.

4. Kharma - I have a feeling the WWE is gonna give her the boot despite the fact she's the best thing the Divas division has to offer today. While it's tragic she suffered a miscarriage, I don't think WWE is going to be too sympathetic for the former Awesome Kong.

5. Justin Gabriel - I don't know what to say, but I do know he's easily a candidate to be on the chopping block.

Kharma isnt going anywhere. The WWE knows the fans want to see her and she will get a great reaction when she comes back. Plus, it would be REALLY shady on the WWE's part to release her while dealing with the lose of her baby. VKM does have a heart (I know, hard to believe) and will give her all the time she needs.

I dont think they will release Gabriel either. From what I have read he is respected by the boys and by management. Plus, they wouldnt want to upset Kelly Kelly would they?;)

Wrestlezone Frontpage News said:
PWInsider.com is reporting that the annual WWE roster cuts may be coming soon. WWE debuted four new talents to the roster this past week and as previosuly reported, several FCW stars are on the radar to be called up in the near future.

WWE is known for making cuts over the years after WrestleMania, as they evaluate talent and look forward to the year of programming ahead.

Yeah, it's about that time again. The WWE has already been rumored to be calling up some FCW talent soon to go along with the new talent debuts that have happened already this week. So, I guess it's safe to open a thread on it that will stick to the non-spam rules, since no one else probably will.

Yoshi Tatsu - This guy has serves little to no purpose since joining the roster. I can't remember him ever being in a memorable feud, doing anything of substance on any of the top-billed television programs, and he has the personality of a wet mop. He's never going to amount to anything, regardless of what they may do with him. This guy should be future endeavored and is probably packing his bags already.

JTG - See Yoshi Tatsu.

Alicia Fox - She had her run and NO ONE is catching onto her. She's done everything she could to win us over (changed her entrance, multiple gimmick changes, changed her look) and no one seems to be catching on. If the WWE wants strong, black women on their roster, they have plenty of new blood to try out instead of recycling this waste of a woman.

Curt Hawkins - Shit or get off the pot, WWE. This guy has talent, can wrestle, and has personality but what good is he if you NEVER put him on regular TV??

Even Bourne - Two word: substance abuse. Next?

Trent Barretta - I wouldn't be surprised if you all gave a collective, "Who??" when I mentioned his name. He's another guy who never got a fair shake. Get rid of him.

Let's discuss the changes you feel should be made to the roster.

JTG has appeared on one of the two big shows twice in the last six months. His last appearance was being squashed by Brodus Clay. Although he has a recurring role on NXT, being on just NXT doesn't make up for the fact he has now been with the company since 2006 and made little headway. Although he had small success with Shad in Cryme Tyme, it isn't a matter of "if" JTG will be released, but when at this point. WWE aren't going to push him out of the blue for no reason and although the kid has some swagger and is still relatively young at only twenty-seven years of age, he is lost in the shuffle and finds himself at the bottom of the WWE.

Jinder Mahal has had some success since being called up to the Smackdown brand. This is based off their lack of effort to give him an actual angle plus the fact people just seem to show little interest in him. Why keep him around when you want to push guys like Ryback, Damien Shadow and other future development debuts? Sure he could do well as a heel jobber but WWE could simply bring in a nobody for less money and do the same job. Mahal hasn't connected with the audience, hasn't shown much in-terms of progression and it may be his time to be wished his best in all his future endeavors.

Trent Barretta is in a similar situation as JTG, lost in the shuffle of the WWE even though the kid possess potential to be more than they're allowing him to be. Barretta has a good look, he can talk when handed a microphone and his in-ring skills are better than most. He is great at selling and does fit the mold for a jobber to rising talent, but again, does he really want to be a nothing guy in the company? Once again, much like JTG he is very young, twenty-five years-old and still improving. Recently on NXT Tyson Kidd remarked they'd make a good team, so unless they decide to replace Gabriel with Barretta in Justin's alliance with Tyson Kidd, I see no use for Trent Barretta other than being filler talent. Let him go young, he'll learn, may even get a contract with TNA if he's lucky and then see how he is doing in a few years.

Percy Watson is someone who showed personality but couldn't back it up to save his life. Eccentric and unique can be a good thing, but he hasn't connected with the crowd. In a recent match against Titus O'Neil on NXT, even though Percy was face he got a more negative reaction than positive. Unless they repackage him and make use of the guy with no lens' in his glasses, Percy Watson is an ideal candidate to be cut from the ranks of WWE personnel.

Darren Young is another NXT mainstay who has achieved nothing. Surely you could use the fact you were a member of the original Nexus as a catapult to achieve, Darren however has been sent back to FCW twice since then, failed to prosper, was brought back to NXT, feuded with Matt Striker for about a month and even though fans were into the matches he was having with Striker, they were reacting more-so to the interviewer and not the wrestler, which means people must have little to no interest in you. He hasn't improved at all while on NXT, yes he makes a cocky heel character, but so do another twenty guys down in Florida and most can do a better job. Darren Young has failed in Nexus, failed on NXT twice now and isn't going anywhere. Future endeavor and hope he improves.

Here's who I'd consider to be in the most danger:

Evan Bourne - 2 wellness strikes followed by a severe injury really spells bad luck for Bourne. It's really a shame that he's been out of action at all, Bourne is over with fans and can perform at a higher level than a lot of guys his size. The question is whether or not he's lost the trust that WWE had in him. The fact that Bourne moves a lot of merchandise will work in his favor.

Mason Ryan - Big men are impressive but they're a dime a dozen. They're also forgettable after you've seen them a few times. Personally I wasn't impressed with anything Ryan has done in WWE and he's been absent from the top 2 shows for a while. Unless he gets repackaged or inherits a manager (not likely) I see Ryan being forgotten by the WWE Universe really soon.

Ezekiel Jackson - Jackson has been in WWE for quite a while and given many opportunities to break into the midcard. Winning the ECW and Intercontinental titles are his biggest accomplishments yet they are fairly unmemorable moments. What else is there to do with Zeke that hasn't been done? Uh, release him? It seems right, unfortunately for Zeke.

Heath Slater - Let me start by saying I just don't like anything about Heath Slater. I can't remember ever seeing anything from him in the ring that was above average. His mic work is bland and his "One Man Rock Band" gimmick is about as lame as Max Moon. Hell, I'd prefer they revive the Max Moon gimmick for Slater because it would be a vast improvement. Considering his conduct outside of the ring, WWE would be smart to drop this guy.

JTG - While he was very entertaining in Cryme Tyme, there's no place for JTG anymore and he has lost the passion that made him fun to watch. I always thought JTG would be a great singles wrestler as either a face or a heel. Perhaps he's meant to achieve that in TNA or ROH, both companies would benefit from his charisma and experience.

Trent Barreta - I can't imagine very many fans find this guy appealing at all, and I haven't been impressed by him in the ring. His "Dudebusters" schtick was annoying, but at least it was SOMETHING. Barreta hasn't done anything interesting since.

Maxine - Okay in the ring, but AWFUL on a microphone and worse in backstage segments. With the state of the women's division I don't see them doing much with Maxine either way. There are tons of more talented women in the indies, I'd prefer they grab her spot.

Natalya - Personally I love Natalya, and I'd like to see her used more. Whenever I think of her I'm disappointed that WWE doesn't have a Divas tag title, she seems to be the perfect recipient for that strap. Beth and Natalya could've been tag champions for years! Sadly I think her time may be up, unless they come up with more fart jokes for her to take part in.

It's really hard to say who exactly will get cut this year since alot of the talent on the undercard seems to finally be getting some decent ringtime on NXT and Superstars. Hawkins and Reks I believe should stay on account that WWE needs tag teams. Guys like JTG, Johnny Curtis, and maybe Riley probably should get cut. Heath Slater as much as people think hes useless actually is one of the stars willing to be a jobber, and WWE needs guys like those, those kinds of guys usually stick around long enough (Hawkins for example).

I guess my final list can be down to 7 guys/divas:

1. JTG
2. Johnny Curtis
3. some useless diva that isn't Beth, Layla, The Bellas, KellyKelly, Natalya, Tamina, Kharma, Eve, Rosa or AJ
4. Jinder Mahal
5.Alex Riley
6. Darren Young
7. Trent Baretta
and maybe a few guys that aren't cutting it down in FCW. Hopefully now guys like Seth Rollins and The Kings of Wrestling can be brought up, but if anyone thinks Hawkins and Reks and Heath Slater, Hornswoggle and Khali will get cut, will sadly you're gonna be mistaken. Besides, Hornswoggle will be the new Leprachaun in the rebbot and Khali is a major draw in India.....not happening folks.

A lot of the names been mentioned in this thread are the jobbers of the current roster, and you always need cannon fodder around. If all these guys were cut, you'd only end up complaining that the decent mid-carders were being buried.

It's usually about six names, so

Alex Riley is a good contender after getting absolutely destroyed on RAW and doing nothing after his feud with the Miz. Can't say I'd be too devastated, as I don't enjoy his in-ring or mic skills, but the guy has pretty much "next gone" written all over him.

Curt Hawkins is another big name. He's just not managed to fit in after Zack became the big star of the group. Besides, he has absolutely no charisma and they'd probably be better off "pushing" Tyler Reks out of the two of them, as he seems to be better on the mic, at selling and overall in-ring.

JTG seems like so much of an afterthought and a guy who really just disappeared, I can't see him escaping, though he has no real faults other than being so long without showing any major value.

Kaitlyn really hasn't done anything since winning NXT and overall can't really find a way to fit in at all. She has been involved in NXT Season 5, but I think about everyone should know what management thinks of Season 5. She'll probably be the Diva pick if only because they might get overcrowded with Divas and she's not really shown that she's wanted since winning NXT.

Sadly, my last pick is Johnny Curtis. I think Kaitlyn and him are still dating, so this will just be killing two birds with one stone. I honestly think he's underrated and pretty fun, but he's not really been given too much of a chance to break away and has been stuck on a show that isn't really paid attention to. It's a shame, but Johnny has probably one of the best shots.

A lot of the same names being brought up again. For what it's worth, this is what I think about those already mentioned:

JTG I like him, but think unless something big comes up, or the WWE re-hire Shad, re-form Cryme Tyme to help bolster the tag division, then I think JTG could be gone.

Evan Bourne As has already been discussed, his previous strikes against him for breaching the wellness policy, coupled with his recent foot injury could see him let go.

Ezekiel Jackson I have never liked his in ring work, or anything about his persona. I know he adds international flavour coming from Guyana, but you already have African representation in the more dynamic and marketable Kofi Kingston and Justin Gabriel.

Hunico I really like his character and would be dissapointed to see him released. I've just watched his Superstars match with Tyson Kidd (aired 0900 hrs on Sky 1 in UK) and was mightily impressed with the match and efforts of both men.

Tyson Kidd Seems to get a good reaction from the crowd. Although not a Hart family member, he does represent the Hart family and the traditions of the famous Dungeon. Could be a positive with WWE seemingly on a bit of a nostalgic trip recently. Plus that Superstars match against Hunico was impressive in my eyes.

Camacho Hasn't seen any in ring activity, but I like his role as Hunico's enforcer. Until recently I hadn't seen him fulfill the role of enforcer in any way shape or form, or overly get involved in any matches. During the match against Tyson Kidd, he did get involved on two occasions helping Hunico pick up the win. It was the right balance for me not distracting from the solid performance fromthe two men in the ring. If Hunico goes, then I think it's inevitable that Camacho will go. But I hope they are both retained and continue the development and progression of their pairing.

Sin Cara Obviously a big, big draw with the Mexican fans. But I've not been impressed by the man fulfilling the role. Hunico has shown he can play the role better than the man in the mask himself. With Del Rio and Hunico on the roster, WWE could afford to cut their losses with Sin Cara.

Jinder Mahal I'm undecided on this man. I like his look and his persona is a classic foreign heel. His in ring work needs polishing up, but that will come with time given to develop and experience. Also a draw with the foreign market he represents.

The Great Khali Yes he is a huge carnival draw representing another foreign market. But with his lack of mobility, communication skills and longevity...he is simply ugly to watch in the ring. The money and time spent on utilising Khali would be better utilized elsewhere like developing more promising talent.

Yoshi Tatsu Yes, he is that potential money maker from Japan. But as someone else said, with Lord Tensai coming back from his ventures abroad and adopting a gimmick representative of the Japanese style of wrestling, could see Tatsu go. I don't think he will though.

Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks Again I'm not sure on this duo. I like the pairing and portrayal as disgruntled young men wanting their opportunities now. You already have a tag team division with these two, Primo & Epico and The Usos. Just needs time invested into it. I hope they stay.

Johnny Curtis Who?

Hornswoggle Made sense to have him paired up with Finlay. Sheamus doesn't need him. Nothing involving him makes sense anymore and he should go.

Heath Slater I like him. The company still needs jobbers and he could prove to be the next Barry Horrowitz. Furthermore, he is still young and undergoing development. He could prove to be more than a jobber.

Alex Riley Again, I like Riley. He has something about him. Kinda reminds me a bit like The Rock when he debuted as Rocky Maivia. Strange comparison when I read it back. But there is something there and I'm sure whatever it is will come to fruition if the WWE perseveres with him.

The Usos Two young talented men from a family with rich wrestling traditions. Again its the lack of investment in the tag team division that could see these boys released. Shame.

Michael McGillicutty Other than to stay as a jobber along with Heath Slater, I can't see any future direction for him under this moniker. There is potential if he is allowed to work under his birth name and so many more creative routes. But then that hasn't quite worked in Ted DiBiase's favour.

Ted DiBiase Despite initial high hopes, he has struggled to emulate former partner Cody Rhodes' path to mid card supremity. That fact and his ability to get injured could see him go.

Mason Ryan I like that a fellow Welshman is performing in the WWE. But by God he is ugly to watch in the ring. With the return of Lesnar and the rumoured return of Batista, does the company really need another big muscle man? I'd say no, but they obviously like him. More development needed rather than being future endeavoured.

The Miz Unless backstage politicking gets rid of him, I'd say that he is safe due to his ability to attract mainstream media attention.

Booker T Now that they've found a slot on the announce table for him, I don't see him going.

Trent Baretta I could see him being the face jobber to the heels. But other than that I don't think he is truly appreciated and will be let go.

Drew McIntyre Just hasn't gone from strength to strength after being hand picked by Mr McMahon as 'The Chosen One'. Could be one of two big names, along with...

Jack Swagger I really don't enjoy watching him. Although he is a former amateur wrestler and clearly well thought of in the WWE (opinion based purely on the title opportunities he has been given) he is actually horrible to watch in the ring. I don't know if he is too big to work the style of wrestling he is trying to portray? But it doesn't look right. He is horrible on the mic too. Either try something different with him, or let him go.

One person I feel confident in saying is gone is Mason Ryan. First of all, he isn't the greatest in- ring talent. He is a bland muscled up guy who still really hasn't found his place in the company and unfortunately some people never do and I think he's one of those people. I just have that feeling we've seen the last of him.
