Great main event. Two false finishes and then what appears to be a draw. Great work by WWE there and it shows they have a certain degree of faith in DBD. Also I'm actually enjoying the back-and-forth bickering between Laurinitas and Teddy Long.

Fucking goooooooooood. I'm such an enormous mark for Daniel Bryan's offense. I love how stiff his rest holds and counters are. I freaked out when he did that neat armbreaker with his feet. So fucking cool. Punk did a great job selling everything. It's such a nice touch how instead of using Irish Whips, he'd instead push him with his good arm from a side headlock position.
For wrestling's sake, I would have preferred a clean match, but Teddy and Johnny intervening made the crowd even hotter than it was before. In terms of epic rivalries, this could be the next Austin-Rock. AND I FUCKING MEAN IT! Don't count Daniel Bryan out! That mother fucker's gone from, "Oh, he's a great wrestler and all, but he can't talk for shit," to being a successful heel who's pulled off some very fucking good promos and a damn fine champion. Well his wrestling still vastly exceeds his promos. If I made an actual circle to represent his abilities, there'd be a giant tumor where his wrestling would fall under, since it's his biggest asset.
Fuck, I can't think "asset" right now without thinking of hoesky jokes.
This match was good but hopefully it's just a sample of things to come from these two men somewhere in the future, even if it's years from now. I'm still waiting for the moment when Daniel Bryan says, "I'm pretty sure they were chanting 'Best in the World' about ME down in Pennsylvania." It almost felt like he was hinting at that with his opening promo tonight.
Punk-Bryan is the WAY OF THE FUUUUUUTURE! Why am I so positive? Because it's fucking WRESTLEMANIA SEASON! It's like fucking CHRISTMAS for us! I don't know if anyone's been grouchy in this particular thread, but quit with the cynicism, this is the one time of year when the mainstream media actually gives a shit about wrestling. I'M STAYING POSITIVE BECAUSE I LOVE WRESTLING AND WRESTLEMANIA IS LESS THAN TWO MONTHS AWAY AND PUNK-BRYAN IS FUCKING AWESOME AND WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
