WWE RAW LD 7/11/2011 - This Fire Burns

You see, the problem with these matches are, that a very small percentage of the crowd cares.

Fuck another commercial is already what the th? i'm tired FUCK!!
Next: Shitty random tag match heel vs faces...

Sheamus can you please come to raw and shove a chair on everyones head?

So is the second hour going to be any better at all, or is Punk going to be the only above average thing about it too?

That's not a knock on Punk, Punk was great. But everything else is deceptively average tis' evening.

Like I just said to whoever that other guy was, if the shows weren't profitable, they would change how and/or where the shows were run. They haven't, and the company has been going strong, so they make some sort of profit on each show.

They have run shows set up the exact same way in the exact same building less than a year before Best in the World, which had been their most successful show previously.
And like I said, nothing stays the same. So to say one show makes a profit because another does is just stupid.

But that isn't even the point. Even if the show DID make a profit, that doesn't prove the company itself isn't.

Yes, I know the difference. I also know that more revenue = more profit. Even if it is negative profit, it is still more profit.
Oh my God, you are not this stupid. Or maybe you are, and have just hidden it for a long time.

More revenue does NOT equal more profit if you spend more to make that revenue. If I spend $2 to make $5 or spend $20 to make $10, that is not more profit. That is a loss.

This isn't even economics, this is common sense.

Cary love ROH and wrestling, and realized the sale to Sinclair was a way to take ROH to the next level. Cary is still with ROH, I'm not sure in what respect, but he definitely didn't sell and run. He's still there to help make sure the company reaches its potential.
:lmao:

I love the idealism wrestling fans have of the business. This is one of the dumbest things I have ever read. I don't know if you're an ROH fan or not, but if you are, then you need to just stop because you're letting your bias cloud your judgment.

Not only is wrestling not the noble endeavor you're painting it to be, you're also discounting the fact that whenever you sell out, you lose control. So if Cary Silkin really loved ROH, then he'd want to be the one with the power to control ROH's destiny, not turn it over into the hands of a bunch of suits, a la WCW.

Seriously, just stop. You're not making any sense.

Drew McIntyre will have a match, this RAW is the best in some time!!

Everybody... Is a Miz fan, Cole?

I doubt Alex Riley, whose beating the hell out of him every week is a Miz fan. Athough, he may be a fan of beating the hell out of the Miz...

Interesting conundrum.
