I would love to see some kind of Laurinitis v. Teddy Long cold war. That could last 7-8 months and be used across multiple storylines.

Swagger wins the US Title and they IMMEDIATELY feed him to Cena to transfer the heat of Ryder's loss from Swagger to Kane - all so that Cena can get more over when he eventually gets the better of Kane.
