WWE Money In The Bank - SMACKDOWN Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Mcintyre FTW!.. hopefully he'll be put in the match somehow.

no kane no matt hardy or christian plz.. kofi kingston would be the only other person i think would win it.. but he can jump up to the top easily. i can see Mcintyre bein world champ not christian lol.

I think either Drew or Kane will win. Because their storyline makes sense of them winning.
Personally... Id love to see Christian or Matt Hardy win.

After I saw SmackDown, I think that Christian is prepared for a heel turn and he will win this ladder match. In my opinion a turn will bring benefit for Christian who will finally take what he deserves and for Matt Hardy, too because I think that after Christian will became World Champ he will start a feud with another future World Champion and he is none other than Matt Hardy.

I Think That Either Matt Hardy or Christian Will Win Being That They Need At Least 1 World Heavyweight Championship Underneath Their Belt or "The Chosen One" Drew McIntyre Will Win

Well, Mcyntire is in, and the only guy I can see possibly winning this, out of the field. Ziggler has been hot lately, but not to the point were he should have this. it absolutely plays into Mcyntire being an undeserving, cheap, cheating bastard, and he could have a fantastic feud with Mysterio over the title. THey want Mcyntire over, no better way then to have him crush the kiddies favorite, and steal the title.

Buried this friday you say? Exactly. Break him down and make him look like he is fucked, before he takes it all, and reaps revenge. He is the clear and present favorite, IMO.

Let's see who has no chance. Hardy, although he's been going quite well of late, isn't winning this. For sure. Who else? Kofi, don't think so buddy. Sorry. Big Show had his yearly title shot a few months ago. He's not winning. Ziggy could, but I doubt it.

My 4 top choices, counting backwards.

4. Cody Rhodes. Huh? Unthinkable awhile ago but with him actually somewhat interesting at the moment with the whole "dashing" gimmick and the fact that he's an 9th generation superstar, or something like that, he has a shot. A long shot, but who knows?

3. Christian. Way over, way good, has a shot. However, it just seems like if he was going to main event, he would've gotten there by know. Ideally, right after the draft. He may be the best choice, as far as quality and reliability and whatnot, but I don't see them going that way.

2. Kane. Big storyline surrounding him puts him in the mix. Not sure how the case would play into the whole thing, but it opens up some possibilities, that's for sure. If he does win, he'll probably lose though.

1. Drew. Young guy, he's big, they like him. He'll probably win. Meh. Ponytail is still far too odd looking for me, personally.

Im glad more ppl choose McIntyre for winning than me.. I like the guy myself.. and yeah the pony tail is odd.. but he still has that champion look.

but if kofi were to win and wouldnt be too upset.. hes decent.. but i think kofi could easily jump to the top when needed. McIntyre needs that brief case.

And i think McIntyre Vs Undertaker is inline for SummerSlam.. who would wanna see Taker Vs Kofi? or Taker Vs Christian lol, thats even worse.

I'm going to pick Dolph to grab the briefcase. Ziggler's been riding a nice little wave of momentum ever since he's been paired with Vickie, and I wouldn't be surprised if he won here.

Drew McIntyre might have been a hot pick a few months ago, but his push has cooled of ever since, and with Vince kayfabe out of action, it seems like this might be the perfect chance for Teddy Long to extract revenge.

Christian is pretty over with the fans, and he's one of the few participants in this match who could actually be ready to have a world title run right now, but I just don't see him winning this one. Christian has been stuck in the land of obscurity ever since his arrival on Smackdown, and he's tag teamed with Hornswoggle recently, and that's not a good sign no matter how you look at it.

I believe Hardy, Kane, Show, and Rhodes have no shot at winning this. This will probably come down to Ziggler and Drew, and I see Ziggler grabbing the briefcase to get a future world title shot.

This match opens the show in my opinion. They need to kick it off with a bang they have enough agile guys in here to make it work as a curtain jerker. I'm not sure who wins this one, but I'm leaning towards Drew. He's the one being pushed the hardest and could benefit from holding it for 6+ months versus the RAW one, which I figure gets used right away.

Christian is who I want to win though, he deserves it and needs something to boost him into the main event, and he too could benefit from a long run as the MITB holder before cashing it in in a high profile PPV match with build (RVD style).

Kofi isn't ready IMO.

Fatt Hardy is the one who might need it the most, with his time running out and him getting as fat as his brother lately...

Rhodes is getting a good push right now and I'm digging that, but he's not ready.

Show doesn't need it.

I would love for Kane to win it and get a final title run before he retires, but I think he's occupied enough at the moment...

Dolph isn't ready, although I could see him being a darkhorse. Despite the lack of a push as of late he reminds me of Mr. Kennedy from when he won it (maybe it's just the blond hair lol).

Let’s have a look at the participants.

Guys that have a chance: Christian, Kane and McIntyre
Guys that have no chance: Big Show, Hardy, Kingston, Rhodes and Ziggler

Kane and McIntyre are probably the favourites. They’ve both had great stories going into the PPV and both could easily incorporate the case into their feuds. And Christian is a sentimental chance. He’s always a chance in these types of matches because we all know he has the talent and work rate that is required to be a main eventer but he’s often pushed to the side rather than up, we’ll see how he goes this time around.

My personal choice is for either Christian or Ziggler to win but will most likely see McIntyre winning unless the Big Red Machine can get the case first.

It's way too obvious; Hardy gets the win here. "But Best" you say, "he's the least likely to win out of all 8 participants." Well that's true. Also, it's the same thing everyone said about Swagger at Wrestlemania. Someone failing to win the title off a briefcase cash-in is long overdue and poor Hardy will be the sacrificial lamb. He'll cash it in the same night, lose, get made fun of by Christian for blowing it, then the Ultimate Battle of The Janettys can commence!

The winner of this match is anybody's pick really, how the hell are we to know? You could make an argument for any of these guys to win (or not win), so that's what I'll do...

Christian- This guy seems to be everyone's favourite every time it's announced that he will participate in one of these matches, but what normally happens is that he loses. So, why should he win this time? Answer, because he's never won before. Simple. Christian obviously has what it takes to be a main eventer, it's just a case of when (if ever) Vince will finally forgive Christian for going to TNA and allow him the chance of success that he truly deserves in WWE. Will this finally be his chance? Could well be...

Kane- Yet another wrestler who could easily and believably win this match, yet he's still one of those guys who always gets so close but never seems to get the cigar in the end. However, this time it's different as Kane is actually involved in a storyline worthy of his talent. But this could either work for or against him on Sunday, why? It could work for Kane because if he were to win and then ultimately win the World Title, it would allow Undi to come back and feud for the title as he always does...makes sense, no? In contrast it could work against him as WWE could take the view, 'Kane's already doing something meaningful with the Undertaker, there's no need for him to win MITB as well!!' Only the Lord knows...

Drew McIntyre- This guy is a favourite, not my favourite but probably Vince's and that's all that matters. Need I say more, really?

Big Show- Eh, probably wont win but still I wouldn't be shocked if he did. It wouldn't necessarily make sense to have him win which is why WWE may give him the victory here. It would tie in with their current motto of throwing the curve ball (although they seem to have been doing this with the young guys as of late and Show isn't a young pup any more).

Matt Hardy- Poor Matt, he just doesn't seem destined to win the big one and he's certainly putting on the pounds by the day it seems. Nevertheless, it wouldn't be totally beyond the realm of belief that WWE may choose to reward this ladder match veteran with a final win in MITB. Unlikely, I know...

Kofi Kingston- Possibly but likely not as he's the IC champ. That may be the only thing standing in his way actually.

Cody Rhodes- A personal favourite of mine, I could just see 'Dashing' Cody Rhodes carry the brief case around with a mirror or something on one side of it...it could really do a lot for his character I think. Cody is probably the dark horse of this match, an unlikely candidate but a candidate nonetheless...

Dolph Ziggler- They seem to be pushing Mr. Ziggles somewhat with his association with Vickie. Again, he is another young guy who WWE may choose to throw the curve ball with. I don't believe he will win but I do think he has what it takes to carry the brief case...

This is probably gonna be the most interesting match of the night as no one really has a front runner besides Drew McIntyre. Honestly, the only two people I see as non-contenders are the Big Show and Kane just due to the fact that the big guys never win this match...

I think I kind of want to change my vote to Kane. In the Rey-hate thread I kind of went off on a tangent about how Kane deserves the title more than Rey, and well, what better way to give Kane his run than by having him win the case and cash it in after the Rey-Swagger match? Rey squeaks away with a win, but not before Swagger hurts his leg again. Kane comes in with the case, cashes it in and destroys rey and takes his title, setting up either a nice Kane-Rey feud, or if they give Rey his vacation, they still have a Kane-Swagger feud they could do.

Kane for MITB Winner!

I know this could kill Kane's push, but I think WWE should start surprising us now. Right now, everyone basically thinks if you win MITB, within the year, you will be a world champion (Except Kennedy, so it would be better to say if you cash it in...) But I think Kane could win, go to cash it in, THEN cue the Undertakers return, and messing up Kane's match, being the first person to cash in MITB and not leave the new champion.

Zigler is not really over, but over by association. Cody has only just found a gimmick. Drew is going to get screwed by teddy long some how. Big show won't even reach the top of the ladder. Kane is still doing the lets find the blah blah blah. And kofi has absolutly no momentum. That leaves Hardy and Christian. Its obviously one of them, and as i've shown i haven't deduced that only from their promos. AND you can bank on that[lololomffitrgsragjjgbjo]. but if I had to choose one, then its hardy. He has stated this is his year but also is trimming down[as seen on this weeks smackdown, and his short promo made it obvious to me.

My pick is CAPTAIN CHARISMA CHRISTIAN i know i say this everytime he's in it but that was because hes my Favorite but this time i just have that gut feeling and my Gut NEVER Lies(ok sometimes but not very often) and he's my Favorite. Christian is the only one that desreves it i would say Hardy to but he's getting heavier and heavier and might have to use Big Shows Ladder
just like my sig says 2010 THE YEAR OF CAPTAIN CHARISMA CHRISTIAN WHC 2010

So...

- Big Show
- Kane
- Drew McIntyre
- Christian
- Matt Hardy
- Dolph Ziggler
- Kofi Kingston
- Cody Rhodes

Who I don't think it will be:

Dolph Ziggler - not read yet. And is quite possibly CM Punk's replacement so if he wasn't going to be in it in the first place, I doubt very much he will win this one.

Likeliness to win: 1/10

Matt Hardy - don't think he'll ever be World Champion material, so I don't think he'll win the money in the Bank match either

Likeliness to win: 3/10

Big Show - mega ladder or not (which was awesome btw). If they wanted him to win the World Title they'd have put the strap on him at Fatal 4 Way. Is quite literally the catcher in this 4 Way match.

Likeliness to win: 3/10

Cody Rhodes - not that I'm not high on this guy, because I think he has potential. But it would be too much - too soon for Rhodes to win. A post PPV feud with Kofi Kingston is on the cards me thinks.

Likeliness to win: 4/10

Now onto the ones with a big chance:

Kofi Kingston - Being IC champion may hinder him here. Has a good chance to win, but I get the feeling there are better options here. His World title push isn't that far off anyway, so he doesn't need it like others do.

Likeliness to win: 6/10

Drew McIntyre -They stalled on his push at Wrestlemania. So how much has changed in the mean time remains to be seen. I think he's not far off a World Title run, but he needs some more time. Saying that, wouldn't be at all surprised if he unhooked the briefcase on Sunday night.

Likeliness to win: 7/10

Kane - well, we've been here loads of times before, and Kane never delievers. But he's on the cusp of a great push here, and I think Rey Mysterio will be his next target for the Undertaker's attacker (before it turns out its actually Kane). Kane steals the belt of Mysterio with the contact - before announcing that he thinks its Mysterio.

Likeliness to win: 8/10

So that leaves one left:

Captain Charisma himself - Christian - it's got to be his time hasn't it? This guy looks every bit a World Champion right now. He's my pick to win - unless my ideas about the Kane/Undertaker/Mysterio angle require the MITB contract.

Likeliness to win: 9/10

I really could see anyone win this match the way they've built it up either way it should be a great match, a ladder match involving Christian and Matt Hardy is awesome then add Kofi, Cody and Mr Ziggles to that and it should be amazing anyway here are my picks

Dolph Ziggler: It could happen with him hanging around Vickie and all latley however I see him having an IC title run first
The Big Show: I doubt it although that ladder of his should make for some cool spots
Kane: Definite possibility has been on a push as of late I could see him winning the title then defending it against Taker
Kofi: I would love to see it the only thing holding him back is that he is holding the IC title but he could easily drop that to dolph or someone else if necessary
DrewI really hope not but i think it will be him
Matt HardyAlot of people seem to be bashing him but I hope he wins and I think he has a chance
ChristianMy pick for the winner, surley it is his time
Cody Rhodes: Probably the Swagger of this match he has been on a bit of a push with this dashing thing so i could see it being him.

Im really torn on who to pick here as I think Kane,Drew,Christian Kofi adn Matt all have chances and Dolph and Cody are dark horses the only person who I couldnt see winning is Show. Anyway my heart says Christian (or kofi) but my head says Drew but i really hope it isnt him.

I thought I could predict MITB pretty decent up until WM 26. Who in the blue fuck predicted Swagger to win? Oh yeah, no one. If anyone had said that prior to WM, they would have been laughed right out of this forum.

But I can tell you...Big Show, Ziggler, Rhodes are definitely out of the question. No way they go with any of those guys. Show has had his recent world title shots, and Ziggler and Rhodes are the definition of filler.

So that leaves Kane, Matt Hardy, Christian, Kofi, and Drew. With WWE pushing different guys as of late, I wouldn't be surprised to see Matt or Kane win. You could make a solid case for any of these 5, but if I had to guess I would say Kane. He's been the focus of SD since the Undertaker storyline started.

Honestly im not sure at all, WWE could shock us all and give it to Ziggler. Wouldn't be any different when they swerved us all and gave it to Swagger at WM.

I actually do not see Big show winning this PPV. I think the SES will come make sure of that and we'll get a simple Big Show vs CM Punk feud going into SummerSlam. That way Punk can take a little more time off to heal and the SES can attack Show each week.

That will be payback for taking his mask off.

As for who wins this MITB match... who knows?! If the writers do a good job, this could be one of the best PPVs in a long time. As TNA is pushing old talent, the WWE could really continue putting the final touches on the grave of competition (even though competition is good) by pushing younger talent.

That being said - my hope is that Christian wins. It's just so overdue.

These matches are always hard to predict, but when you have so many people in them that's obvious. I'll weed out the obvious people not to win.

Big Show (ladder + big show = yeah right), Christian (I love him as a wrestler and as a personality but it would be a HUGE turn around from what he's been doing lately. They haven't even attempted to push his so it's a no go.), Kane (once again, big guy + ladder = probably not, although he's been getting somewhat of a push lately they won't take him away from what his original focus is.), Matt Hardy (He just never wins, he's over but he'll never be as over as his brother was and lets face it that was the only reason jeff Hardy ever got anywhere.).

So for Smackdown this leaves us with four. And the future of the company. I could really see Kofi winning this but then I think about the fact that he's IC champ and while the IC champ seems to always be in the match they never seem to win for obvious reasons. I would like to see Cody win it but I don't think he's ready to main even just yet so that could backfire really easily. Dolph Ziggler has been kinda in the background as of late, but I think that out of everyone in this match he could be the surprise winner. I think the WWE has a lot of faith in him and he has a lot to offer, but it could be too soon to tell. And my real pick to win.....Drew McIntyre. He has a lot to offer as well, and he is no doubt the future of the company. He's gotten pushed here and there and it probably would've been better had it not been for those visa issues. But think of how it would work as an FU to Teddy Long. Plus out of anyone in this match he'd be the most solid choice to win. He's main event material for sure. Drew M. FTW

Kane-- He would only need it to win if Taker is going to have a title run soon, and he could cash it in on taker
Fatt Hardy-- He'd just eat the briefcase, he doesn't deserve a title run
Kofi-- Deserves a main event push soon, but already has a title
Dolph-- Has a chance, but not ready yet
Big Show-- Too much risk in WWE booking him to win, he'd probably break the ladder on the way up
Cody Rhodes-- Would help with the minor push he has been getting, but not good enough yet
Drew-- 2nd choice to win if Christian doesn't
Christian-- My choice to win unless...
Nexus interferes in the match, and Wade Barrett takes the briefcase

What a great match that was for the SD MITB. Very glad to see Kane win it. I feel he's been looking like a jobber for some time, losing matches all the time until he went on his rampage. I personally wanted Kofi or Christian to win it. But I'm still glad to see Kane pull it off. Very pleased with the PPV so far

Sooo glad to see Kane win and IMO its about time!

I would love to see taker return to win the title and go on to defend his title at WM and then Kane cashs in the MITB and defeat Taker at WM defeating the streak!!! and fnally beat Taker and become the dominant brother of destruction
