WWE Money in the Bank LD - It's Clobbering Time

Christian had a stipulation put in stating that if Orton got DQ'ed, he loses the belt. He kicked him in the dickpiece, he lost the belt.

I'm kind of thinking that Christian comes out on Smackdown this week to gloat, though he's still injured. Orton comes out and beats him down again and DB cashes in. Just a thought.

I hope not, DB needs to wait before he even thinks of cashing in, he's not ready and it will be his last reign if he even thinks of it

You know, you used to be cool. Now you're just trolling.

</3 Too far man. Too far.

I made a very simple observation, in response to what I saw, and you're getting all pissy about it. I didn't come in to get ANY reaction from anyone. In fact, I stated VERY CLEARLY that I wasn't. You asked the question "is one sentence hard to comprehend", well obviously it is for you.

I'm not pissy at all, I pretty much talk like this all the time. It's like an accent. If you didn't want a reaction from anyone in any way, why post it? If it wasn't mean to be reacted to then telling a wall would have had the same effect. People stated he had never wont that particular title...you insited on telling us again and again he was a world champion three times prior despite no on arguing otherwise.

Before you start telling me what I was or was not trying to do (because apparently you know better than I do what I was thinking), why don't you try that reading comprehension thing yourself?

Come on man, saying that you intended to get NO responses for those comments is like saying Coco doesn't like to get a rise out of people and knows how to perfectly. My reading comprehension is just fine, I always respond accordingly.

What's sad is that I merely came in here to make a point, and you're getting pissy about it. I like you, Armbar, as much as I like any poster on here, but you're being quite annoying right now. Just back off, quit being confrontational, and we can both go on our way.

Well I'm glad you like me man ha, it's not like I'm trying to start shit. Just pointing stuff out...like I've always done. Just ya know...conversing.

When did Orton actually turn into a good wrestler? His matches with Christian have been excellent.

He's always been smooth out there. Very few guys can move like he can in that he doesn't waste a step and never misses a move. The key has been working with every opponent to make it work and that's come as time has gone on. He's been on top of his game but he's definitely an excellent in ring guy. There is no powerslam I enjoy watching more than his, even if Cole continues to call it a scoop slam.

You have a pissy accent? Been hanging around the missus too much, huh?

If you didn't want a reaction from anyone in any way, why post it?
Because it's the truth? You know, if you carefully follow the majority of my posts, especially wrestling ones, you would know most of them attempt to educate. Perhaps with venom, but educate nonetheless.

People stated he had never wont that particular title...you insited on telling us again and again he was a world champion three times prior despite no on arguing otherwise.
Because that was just splitting hairs. They're both World titles. Did you hear anyone trivialize Chris Benoit at Wrestlemania 20 because he "only" won the World Heavyweight Championship? Or was that moment considered a grand moment in the history of wrestling, you know, before Benoit tangled with the Bowflex?

It's a World title. Some people were acting like he had never won one before.

Come on man, saying that you intended to get NO responses for those comments is like saying Coco doesn't like to get a rise out of people and knows how to perfectly. My reading comprehension is just fine, I always respond accordingly.
You were off the mark on this one. I never intended a huge argument.

I did...now I'm not so sure....

Randomly ironic: they were just playing Cena's music between innings in this Sox/Rays game. No clue if they always play it in Trop Field or not

I'm seriously not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but this IS Punk's 5th World Title. Some of you are acting like he's never held one before.

Are you sure they're acting as if he's never been a World Champion before, or they're acting as if he's never justly won completely clean before over someone as huge as Cena? There is a difference.

ECW - he beat John Morrison, and the controversy was Morrison failed a drug test.

World Title #1: He cashed it in on Edge, who was just laid out by Batista and unable to barely stand.

World Title #2: He cashed it in on Jeff Hardy, who'd just won it in a TLC match and in a similar case - could barely defend himself.

World Title #3: He defeated Jeff Hardy in a TLC match at Summerslam, in what was to date - his biggest World Championship title victory - not counting any defenses against the Undertaker (which were in controversy as well)
--------

Make no mistake, this match had tons of controversy surrounding it.. but Punk. Won. Clean. He didn't cheat. He was about to be screwed of all things, and stayed focused - thus capitalizing on the moment at hand and winning cleanly.. against the biggest star the Company has right now, when Punk's "back" was against the wall.

So am I happy Punk won because I think it's his first ever World title? No. Am I happy Punk was able to prove to the world that he has what it takes to beat the best in the business, when most signs point to him losing? Yes.

As for official ppv opinions, besides the obvious Punk/Cena MOTY moment(s)..

I was more shocked that Daniel Bryan won the MITB than I was Punk walked out with the Championship. NSL & I were even discussing how we felt the screwjob situation was likely to come into play - and while it didn't end the match, it played some role in the finish. Still.. Daniel Bryan came out of left field in a match that also featured.. Sheamus, Wade Barrett & Cody Rhodes. Bryan was not even a foot-note in my mind to win this contest.

Mark Henry is better than what most people want to give him credit for, and putting on a good showing against Big Show in a DOMINATING way proved just that. I still had hopes for an Orton/Henry - Summerslam match, but that seems out of the question now. Henry should still be considered a worthy contender, especially now that he's cleanly beaten Big Show - in dominating fashion.

Kelly retained. If ever any match was less than approving, it was the Diva's contest. And yet with the way the night happened - even this match was good enough, since it just sorta.. went by.

Del Rio winning the RAW MITB is not shocking, nor surprising. Some thought Mysterio would win since this was his first.. uhm, it was a lot of people's first, including Del Rio's as well. :shrugs:

Christian actually winning via the DQ rule shocked me third most out of this night. I honestly did not see him winning, until Bryan won the case and I questioned Christian winning - Orton destroying him post match - and Bryan cashing in, to continue Christian's storyline of being screwed out of the title. All that didn't happen was Bryan coming out.

Come on, Armbar. If I really wanted a rise out of you, I'd talk Destination X up as the PPV of the year. But I'm an honest man.

You have a pissy accent? Been hanging around the missus too much, huh?

She's had the last two weeks off work :(

Because it's the truth? You know, if you carefully follow the majority of my posts, especially wrestling ones, you would know most of them attempt to educate. Perhaps with venom, but educate nonetheless.

No one was arguing that it wasn't the truth though ha, that's my point. People were pointing out that he had never won that particular title, which was also the truth. And you just repeated that he had been a world champion before. Like and endless loop, both ends really.

Or was that moment considered a grand moment in the history of wrestling, you know, before Benoit tangled with the Bowflex?

Benoits moment was based ENTIRELY on winning the title...Punks wasn't. That's what everyone in here was telling you. And too soon man, too soon or something.

It's a World title. Some people were acting like he had never won one before.

No they weren't! Even the dude you quoted stated he was WWE Champion. No one ever said he hadn't won one, jsut that it was something different since it's a different and also more prestigious title. Similar yes, the same definitely not.

You were off the mark on this one. I never intended a huge argument.

Nor did I. I think something about me makes people think I'm trying to start an argument with them ha, I really need to learn how to talk like socialized human.

I did...now I'm not so sure....

LEAVE THE MEMORIES ALONE.

I'm very happy Bryan didn't cash in. Means he could when I go to the show.

A couple things come to mind on this subject now.

1. Could Bryan become the first person to cash in.. and lose? (not counting Kennedy - who lost the case in a match to Edge)

2. Will Bryan just directly "RVD" his case contract and say he wants the match at Summerslam, or some other event - weeks in advance like a "face" typically would.

I believe so. He seems like the kind of guy to fight his match straight up. But I really think he fears losing it.

I'm not sure. I don't think he's ready for the title just yet. He needs some big feuds first. Also I can't really picture him as a successful face champion. A heel like Benoit from 2000 though would work very well for him.
