Beer Money would be fools not to at least consider a WWE offer if it was to arrive.
They would be far from fools. They just wouldn't be interested. In that case, CM Punk was a fool for not considering an offer from TNA....Hypothetically speaking obviously.
They are in the wrestling business to make money
No. Your in the wrestling business because it's a dream job, it's something you love. Not everyone plays sports for money. That's a terrible form of thinking. Money is obviously a priority but It's not going to attract everyone.
WWE is the place to do that.
WWE is also the place to get buried. Unless, they are offered millions of dollars. You lost your mind with this one.
There is the potential to make a hell of a lot of $$$, much more than is possible in TNA, and if Roode and Storm are confident that they have the ability to succeed in the WWE, then I think they should give it a try.
WWE didn't give a shit about Storm in 2006. Why should he re-sign there now?
Obviously, they would have to consider how they would be used. Would they be part of a regenerated tag-team division, or would they be used as singles stars? Would they be sent to developmental first or come straight onto the roster? Would they end up wasted like Chris Harris or Gail Kim?
Exactly. Way to much of a risk. Why the hell would they leave a place where they are already well known, superstars, over as fuck. To go to WWE where their future is unknown.
It would be a big loss for TNA to lose such a dependable team as Beer Money.
Very true but It could be a great thing for Motor City in 2012 if it happened.
They never have a bad match and in Bobby Roode they have a potential superstar just waiting to be unleashed.
And James Storm is another guy with potential as a superstar. That's why Roode and Storm are so high in the Bound For Glory Series. Both guys have a chance to main event in October.
If I was TNA I would do everything I could to tie these guys to a long term deal.
Roode is signed until 2014. Storm is signed until 2015.
Again, another reason why this is beyond stupid if WWE is actually doing this.
But if I was Roode or Storm? I would seriously look at any WWE offer. Even if it all went tits up in the 'E, TNA would almost certainly welcome them back with open arms. They have name value in that company, and would be even bigger names after any WWE run.
No It doesn't. TNA didn't welcome Kaval back with open arms. They used him because he was a former X-Division wrestler that was needed for 2 shows.
Bigger names? Yeah. I doubt that. Your assuming WWE is going to do something special with them.
They haven't done anything productive with their "Young Guys" I doubt they would treat Beer Money any differently. Like I said, both guys are making their own legacy much like Sting did without the "E in their resume.
Considering they wouldn't even be able to operate under the name "Beer Money" or "James Storm and Bobby/Robert Roode" I think, It's not a good idea. You can't possibly expect these guys to take WWE seriously after they just mistreated a former co-worker from TNA who they all worked with.
I would love to see Beer Money in WWE feuding with guys like D-X and whatnot but that time has passed and if they can't operate under that name or gimmick then I am not interested whatsoever.
