Overall it was a pretty good pay per view.
Most people expected Orton to win so there wasn't much of a surprise in that part. They kept DB strong in the process. Had him come out of the pod early and Orton last which gives DB time to take more punishment, DB was "hurt" going into the match, Wyatts briefly attack DB to get him out of the way, DB kicks out of one RKO, and outside interference catches up with him causing him to lose.
They literally did everything they could to still make him look strong outside of having him win.
People can't really be mad about that.

Oh, and anyone talking about what sort of ring shape Batista is in can fuck right off. We have no idea what sort of ring shape he's in.

The real victim here is Orton. He is on the top of his game and a match with Batista will do nothing for him.

Did any of you people complaining pay attention to Cole? He was making a BIG deal out of this going on too long. It's not over yet for Bryan.

Exactly.

Plus how can anyone really bitch about outcomes when we had 2 such incredible matches tonight?

Moreover, it was so obvious Orton was going to win tonight. It's not like the Royal Rumble when it really seemed like Bryan was going to enter the Rumble match and perhaps win it. It was clear as day what was going to happen tonight, but WWE still managed to make a GREAT match out of it regardless of the obvious outcome.

Much better than the Rumble, and the end of the show all but confirms the Triple Threat is happening for me. That and the Wyatt/Shield match makes me a happy camper.

Oh, and anyone talking about what sort of ring shape Batista is in can fuck right off. We have no idea what sort of ring shape he's in.

He's probably a little rusty, but to me he looked decent for not having wrestled a real match in 4 years or whatever.

My television service has resumed - oh, the disgust - and so now I'm watching the Wyatts versus The Shield. Pity the chamber match itself spoiled the ending for me, but that'll teach me for snoozing.

Wow. Are you guys STILL serious in thinking Daniel Bryan will not be in the title match at Wrestlemania?

The night of the Royal Rumble after it ended, I was very quick to praise WWE for their booking. I also claimed that at Elimination Chamber Daniel Bryan will get screwed again. And look what happened.

WWE is doing this on purpose to work up the live audience, the IWC, and Twitter. And it has worked. And I even said it would be Orton vs. Batista vs. Bryan at Wrestlemania for the title and Bryan will win. I just don't understand how you guys cannot see this?

They aren't screwing Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan "getting screwed" IS the story line. And at Wrestlemania, after a year of being screwed match after match, he will win the title and the crowd, Twitter, and you guys will all freak out.

Bryan vs. Batista vs. Orton at Mania. If you don't see how that isn't coming then you can't comprehend simple angles and storylines which is probably why WWE's creative team tries to stay away from complicated ones, cause the majority of the audience can't even grasp the simple shit.

Well, all in all, Nice SHOW, not really an A, I'd give it a B at most

The Elimination Chamber may not have had the kind of ending people dreamed of or can even accept, but the match itself was great,lMO.

The John Cena programme has been set, although I did expect the Wyatts to interfere in any case, hence Cesaro tapping out after that AA to the outside was acceptable.

What Cesaro and Sheamus do at WM is unclear. Christian had his Frogsplash spot, but it was clear he was just somewhat of a filler presence in the match.

Daniel Bryan vs Kane is coming up, maybe tomorrow night, if the plan is for a Bryan vs HHH at WM. If not, then I do wonder if some of the rumours of CM Punk vs Kane were indeed true, and that was why Punk didn't deem it neccessary to stay on..and now Bryan vs Kane will happen instead...

Orton vs Batista.........let's just say, I took a break from watching after the S vs the WF, and I came back to watch the Elimination Chamber Match.

Also have to say, the Wyatts screwing Cena was cool and acceptable. Having a second screwjob which was predictable, totally sucked for me. I really wanted Brock Lesnar come out and cause carnage in the ring tonight, whether or not his WM opponent is Taker or not.

the Shield vs the Wyatt family was an absolute A+ match. Reminded me of their match vs Ryback and Team Hell NO!

Expected the Wyatts to go over, though Reigns taking a pin surprised me initially, but I understood it.

Expect something to happen on RAW tonight with regards to the Shield break-up, it was teased at TLC, but Ambrose disappearing and not coming back, will come up, I am sure of it.

As for the Other matches... Didn't really follow them too much.

Big E winning was expected. Was an ok match.

I expect the Usos to continue their hunt for the Tag titles, expect the title change at Wrestlemania. The Usos are going to win it there, unless some other team comes in to the spotlight.

Don't know what happened in the Divas match, but AJ seemed pissed at Tamina for some reason. Maybe someone else can shed some light on that for me.

Batista vs Del Rio....meh. Was excited initially about Batista returning, but due to his booking and remaining a face....Have to say I am not too bothered about him anymore at this time.

and, having loads of BNB segments were interesting, to say the least...and I did enjoy a couple of them for sure.

Oh, and anyone talking about what sort of ring shape Batista is in can fuck right off. We have no idea what sort of ring shape he's in.

It's a complex some people of our ilk have, I think. First Rock, then Lesnar, now Batista. Makes me miss the days when people were in awe of Vince's mastodons.

Good show all around... The only real downsides to the night was the awful Batista match. He's really lost a lot of his intensity since he walked away, which was one of the only things he had going for him in the first place. Boring match and really killed the momentum of the pay-per-view for me.

Swagger/Big E started off kind of slow, but ended up being a great little match to open the PPV. Big E's spear spot through the ropes was pretty awesome, definitely got the crowd into the match after that point.

Tag match was kind of slow as well, but Road Dog's hip toss into the turnbuckles got the crowd into it, and it was a solid effort from that point; a lot more than I expected.

Titus moved another step up the ladder towards believability, but I really hope the feud with Young is over. He's below Titus at this point. Titus needs a solid midcarder to run a program with now and continue to elevate him.

AJ/Tamina's inevitable breakup got progressed... that whole thing has a Shawn Michaels/Psycho Sid feel to it.

Chamber match had some great spots... I really want to see Sheamus/Cesaro in a single's match at Mania after some of the exchanges the two had throughout the match. Intense as fuck. I marked out big for Sheamus' Brogue Kick through the chamber on Orton. Gave Christian(a wrestler I mostly can't stand) a lot of props for a near flawless splash off one of the chambers.

The ending with the Wyatts getting involved was predictable, as was Kane screwing Bryan... but both set up good storylines for Mania with Bryan probably working double duty. He'll likely face Kane with the stipulation that if he wins he'll be allowed into the Main Event, where he'll get his shining moment. Cena/Wyatt has obviously been on the docket since Rumble, and I'm looking forward to the build for that one as well.

The Shield vs. The Wyatts lived up to the build it got; it's just a shame it's not going to get the extended burn that it deserves. That's been one of the most compelling stories in a long time and really should show WWE that stable warfare isn't a thing of the past. Really great match, and surprising end with Reigns taking the pin. I really expected Ambrose to make a cheap tag in and try to steal the glory only to take the fall.

It better be that way or WM will be a huge shit fest...

We will see if your crystal ball is correct. The main event should be finalized soon.
