WWE DVD's You Would Like To See Created.

Personally, I think that would be fascinating to watch. Especially the way you broke down how the different tier wrestlers would be shown.

Kevin Steen has a variety of shows on youtube and one of them he shows you how he travels, when he gets up, talks about the venues, people, and even takes the camera with him in the stands and watches other matches, even has coversations with other wrestlers while doing it. Doing a day in the life of say, Tyson Kidd, Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, and then say Randy Orton, low tier to top, would be great and probably garner them a lot more respect. I would love that.

Also, sick user title, had to say it. :)

Thanks much.

To add to my idea as an extension, I'd really love to see something like "International Traditions: Wrestling Around the World."

See thee differences in like, training styles, living styles, match ethics, booking, etc, etc. I liked in Benoit's (I think it was Benoit) DVD how he talked a bit about how foreign Japan was in terms of training and such. I'd love to see how current wrestlers that have worked in places other than the US look at the differences between US and the rest of the world. Was Barret trained in UK? If so, how was he taught differently from what he's learned here. Does Japan have a list of banned moves? Etc, etc.

Dedicating a DVD to each say Puerto Rico, UK, Mexico, Canada, US, and Japan would be enthralling.

I keep using this word but, that would be very interesting to get a take on another country's obsession and their definition of what pro-wrestling means to them.

I mean Japan deifies Antonio Inoki, they take that seriously there, and to witness things that you mentioned not only garner fans more credible knowledge, but have more respect for what we are writing about right now!

I personally would like to go more in-depth on the topic of how wrestlers who don't speak the same language piece together a match.

I've wanted to see a DVD on the Rise and Fall of Evolution for a while. It's too bad Orton's historic title win that changed everything came against he who shall not be named.

Moments/Matches I can think of off the top of my head:
Promo introducing the group
Batista takes out Goldberg
Armageddon 2003 - Evolution walks out with all of the gold
Flair, Orton and Batista vs Rock 'n' Sock Connection
Orton vs Cactus Jack
Orton vs Benoit
Orton vs HHH series
Elimination Chamber match at New Years Revolution
Batista wins Royal Rumble
Batista vs HHH series

I stopped watching for a few years around WM 22, but heard there was a good Orton vs HHH feud at some point, can't think off the top of my head which Wrestlemania it culminated at. Who knows, maybe HHH vs Batista vs Orton at WM 30?

Man I wish Canada had the WWE Network..

On top of that, I think it'd be cool to see a DVD about the history of wrestling attire and how different regions have different costumes and such. Like, I've no idea when the first actual costume came around that wasn't just a robe worn to the ring.

Best of the Cruiserweights would be high on my list

WWE Backstage... a glimpse of the politics, who's tight with who, just the general backstage feeling

Curt Hennig story ... Not sure if it has been done or not, if it has my bad. Seeing Hennigs best matches would be phenomenal

There is a two-disc set on Curt Hennig out called "The Life and Times of Mr. Perfect" that's pretty good.

Some of these performers might be able to sell a set on their own, but WWE could do a "Combo" set...Maybe The Best Of Rick Rude tagged with a Lex Luger set, split 3 DVDs like they do for major individual sets between the two with some biography, promos, and famous matches.

Im surprised they never did a Best of Mon Night Wars DVD...they did one set with the documentary and have dones Stars of The 80s and Stars of 90s sets, but there were so many matches on so many episodes of both Raw & Nitro, a lot of entertaining stuff that hasny showed up on other sets...this could have been a continuing set like Steel Cage Matches has been (I know they did two Best Of Nitro Sets...I think they would have been better served to combine classic matches from both shows on the sets).

Greatest Rivalries also could be a "Combo" set...maybe release 3 DVD sets highlighting three different feuds... Say Jake Roberts vs Rick Rude/Ric Flair vs Dusty Rhodes/Randy Savage Ted DiBiase for instance.

Is there something like "Pinfalls and Tap Outs: A History of Finishers"?

I'd love to see a documentary (especially if it's international) about how finishers evolved over time. When was the first off the top (not jumping, but like Dragonrana) finisher? Who invented the power bomb as a finisher? Etc, etc?

Well, did make a DVD a year or two ago called WWE: 50 Greatest Finishers In WWE History, and it was pretty abysmal, with no in depth coverage. I mean, i am one of the biggest HBK marks, but putting Sweet Chin Music at #6 is ridiculous. They didn't even mention Burchill's C-4. It was a popularity contest mostly.

But the way you have described it would be pretty cool to see and learn about how and why finishers and signatures were created and used.
I would love it when they got to the part about submissions and holds. (Moss Covered Three Handled Family Grudunza!)

As in depth about a move I have seen is the DDT, that's about it.

Yeah I've seen that DVD and was like, eh. It was cool to see them all, but that's no documentary about moves, let alone finishers.

I'd love to know like, who invented the STF, Cobra Clutch, etc, etc.

I'd also like to know when in the world they started counting you for a pinfall if you had your shoulders on the mat during a submission. I always thought it was super weird that you were considered "pinned" if you lay back during the Figure Four.

Now that his career is seemingly over, I would love to see an inside look DVD at the Undertaker and his career.

I'd personally like to see one dedicated to the late great Ravishing Rick Rude. He was such a captivating superstar and a personal favorite of mine growing up and I know I'm not the only one who loves the guy. Best physique by a huge margin for his time, one of the best men on the mic that people seem to forget about and a five time world champion. Cmon son, give the man his due respect and honor his career with a set.

Secondly an Evolution 3 disc set needs to happen, as one of the greatest stables in wrestling history I believe they've earned at least that. They're talked about in many other documentaries and WWE tributes but the fact that they haven't gotten their own by now is very surprising. They talk about Evolution in all of their respective DVDs but one completely focused on the group would be great. They're one of my favorites of all time to hear more in depth stuff about them and their time together along with backstage issues and whatnot would be great.
