WWE Council of War

The guy's won than he has lost on SD and looks decent. He is going into a feud with a top class talent in Rhodes and I see this being quite similar to his feud with the Miz. So I expect the feud to successfully elevate both guys. Anything less will be a disappointment.

I wasn't nearly impressed with the DiBiase match as I thought I'd be. Solid, but not great. They've given him crap storylines except for Rhodes and Miz and let him use about 5 moves per match, when they could properly showcase his vast array of moves. maybe I haven't seen enough of his matches as I haven't seen Smackdown! for a while before last night, but his matches on RAW were all vastly the same in his move set. And they don't really properly showcase him on the mic, I know that he no John Cena but he can entertain on the mic given the chance.

Yes, on RAW. Since he has went to SD, he has had 15 minutes to work, and put on great matches with guys (besides last night) higher on the card than him, and has went 2-1 in those matches.

the fuck are you talking about?

He's beaten, Rhodes and DiBiase, lost to Sheamus and Sin Cara and taken Chavo to a draw. Oh and he was still the US Champion when he was being misused.

this.

As opposed to running about with the Bellas, and not being on the show. What the fuck more do you want? :lmao: get out of the old man thread with this foolishness

Actually I have my matches backwards. That's the second street fight. The really great one is the month before at Spring Stampede.

Yeah and in Philly too. Very good show from a bad time for the company.

Watching a Raw from two weeks before Mania 14 and it's Vince responding to Austin disrespecting him. So weird to see Vince as the cowardly owner still.

Well shit if we're all talking about what we're watching, I'm binging on some WCW right now, circa 1999. Just finished up watching all the Nitros/Thunders/PPVs of 1998 in my quest to go back and watch the dark days to pick out the good stuff. Just finished watching Souled Out 1999 earlier. Now I'm watching the 1/21/99 Thunder. Decent tag match between Kidman/Chavo and the NWO B-Team of Brian Adams and Horace Hogan. Probably one of the best Horace Hogan matches I've ever seen, though that's not saying much.

It's so funny watching WCW go down the crapper and comparing the moves they make to what TNA is doing these days. So many similar themes and fuck-ups in booking.

Oh and I LOVE that Philly Street Fight from Slamboree Norcal, I think I liked it even more than the Payne/Cactus vs. Nasties match from the month before. That match was freaking brutal and had an AWESOME finish IIRC.

Nah, its on WWE Classic on Demand. Pretty sweet channel for just 6 bucks. EVen though I usually watch everything they have within a weekor two. I think its reloaded monthly

I stand by the fact he was mis-used crazy on RAW, but I just watched that match on SD! and it was sick. I guess everyone's wrong sometimes.

Ah I see. I'm considering getting that, just to have some of the random stuff they ahve on there. I watch the free preview of it every month which is like 45 minutes of random stuff, a bit from each section.
