Taker had me urinating in my drawers with fear, and then I realized that a guy in a suit who was made to be Steve Austin's bitch for 2 years was more powerful than him. Really screwed Taker's credibility...and anyone that thought that Taker was beating Austin AFTER Vince was revealed as the Higher Power was a joker.

Yep. The Rock needed to go over there more than Trips did. Mania is a place that makes babyfaces...whereas the heel can still get heat if he drops the babyface at the C-list PPV the next month.

Erm, and should have been one on one. Fatal Fourway matches that aren't "good matches" really tend to suck far more than bad singles matches. For instance, if there is a one on one match that sucks technically, it can still make up for it if the the competitors are really over. That was the case w/ Trips and the Rock.
