WWE Council of War

Kinda complex rules but not really.

Norcal is right, the structure is just made for someone like Morrison to go nuts with. But when you have the likes of Batista, Undertaker, Big Show, and Khali working the match, it's just dull.

I'm not sure if I agree with putting Big Show in that negative category. If there was ever a big man who could pull off a match like that, it's Big Show.

Didn't the Punjabi Prison have like...gigantic steel spikes of death surrounding it all over the place? Having a high flyer in there sounds like a literal recipe for death. What a stupid gimmick match really.

I hope JoMo performs in one, just for the off chance he impales himself on it.

Just call it what it is, the Kennel from Hell with Bamboo.

Yeah I missed that post. They said it did but if I recall correctly, Khali did have his legs thrashed climbing over.

I'd like to see Norcal's idea though. At least once. A solid spot monkey could make that match fun.

So Norcs, you see that they have a few matches showcasing Morrison on WWE OD?

Maybe not even a spot monkey, just Jinder Mashal and a good, agile wrestler. that match type has tons of potential.

and of course I did, however, ive seen all those matches before so not a big deal.

Was cool to go back to the days were Melina used to show her cha-cha before every match though.

the IC title triple threat on there with Benjamin and Carltio is a fun one

I actually just downloaded that show and plan on watching it at some point. Looks good, all of the Legends roundtables they do for WWE 24/7 are.

I don't know what the current topic is, but it's been awhile, and I just wanted to say that the pic of Norcal, D-Man, Irish, etc in those shirts if fucking awesome! What's the word, mofos?

Aw shit, im gonna have to check that bad boy out this weekend.

So why do all the TNA fanboyz want a Robbie Rood push so bad? he is utterly fucking gash, and by far and away the lesser deserving of a push in that team. The team should damn sure be broken up for the betterment of TNA, but damn sure not to push ROODE, it should be done to push Storm

I still don't get the appeal of him. He's ok but I've never seen the main event star that they claim is in him. Roode that is.

I liked Storm's promo against the Mexicans last week. It got me into wanting to the see the match, which I had zero interest in prior to.

Exactly. Charismatic, good in the ring, great agility for his size and body shape, and cuts great promos. How he is so criminally overlooked is beyiond me.

Has Crimson cut a promo? Fucking, like, ever?

That was actually a topic in the LD that I touched on last night. Look at a guy like Austin Aries. We've gotten to know him a good deal from his promos and he's been there what, three times? He already has more character depth than Gunner and Crimson combined, which makes him an interesting character. Well at least more interesting than those two. Gunner is intense and a former soldier. That ends what we know about him. Crimson likes red and uses a Sky High for a finisher while being undefeated. Zero development at all while Aries has a somewhat established character after maybe ten total minutes on the mic in about 3 appearances.

Watching Starrcade 90. This was a really stupid idea in retrospect. It's Black Scorpion for those who aren't up to date on their WCW. Also, Dick the Bruiser is a scary man.

One of the issues with it was Scorpion kept giving clues to who he was supposed to be. They were references to stuff that happened like 5 years before this. Every company other than WWE has always had this issue: they expect fans to remember stuff from years and years ago to understand angles. That's fine for fans that have been watching for years, but if a fan has been watching for like a month, they'd be totally lost as to what all this stuff means.
