WWE Council of War

I'm guilty of the Mysterio hate from time to time, and I really don't understand it either. I tend to love most matches he's in, but sometimes I just get pissed when I'm watching him. It makes almost no sense at all.

I got over it when Coco The Monkey told me to get over it. Also, his DVD is really good. Like, really good.

Except for the segments where he's talking. Good thing I can just skip to the next chapter.

Maybe I'm behind on wrestling events, but I just found out that a UK company called Silver Vision has produced extremely old school WWF events on DVD such as Summerslam 88-91, Royal Rumble 89-93, and etc.

FINALLY... real old school wrestling on DVD format.

That's been around since the mid 90s if I remember correctly.

Also keep in mind that British DVDs don't work on American players sometimes. Make sure the region codes match up.

This happened to me when I burned it. How do I change that code?

If you burned the ISO image onto a regular blank DVD that works in your average American DVD player, than you're fine and it should work fine. I have tons of Silver Vision clones lying around.

Then it must be a setting on DVD Decrypter. It won't work on my LG Blu-Ray player.

I don't think so man, I'm fairly certain you don't need to change the setting or anything. The PAL or NTSC region code thing only applies to the actual physical disc itself, not the information stored on the disc. Maybe you aren't using the right kind of blank DVD? Lots of brands are total garbage and some just don't work in some players. Maybe you're using a DVD-R instead of a DVD+R? Or maybe you're using a DVD-RW? I dunno, there's a world of reasons as to why it couldn't work on your player, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with your disc and player and not the actual info itself that you burn onto the disc. 'Cause I've burned a shit ton of PAL ISO's ripped straight off the PAL DVDs onto regular American NTSC blank DVDs and they work like perfect clones of the masters.

Actually, I was burning about 6 discsc last night and they were all perfect except for the Silver Video ones. I've been burning movies with the same burner and software for the past three years. Trust me, it's all perfectly functional.

If you're burning from an iso and your burning software isn't automatically set to burn region free then there's a good chance it's set to maintain the original region coding data of the image. Be a good idea to check your settings on that one. Other than that, maybe your player just hates PAL?

Old school? Really? Does anyone here ever talk about anything pre-1980? Hulk Hogan is still pretty contemporary in my book. Milo of Croton -- now he's old school!

Actually, D-Man, I think you'll find--

This is true, but you fail to mention--

Silver Vision do all the WWE releases over here.

Fuck it.

And the Tagged Classic series is what you were thinking of. No blurring of the WWF logo.

I'm happy to say last month I went through a really old-school set of matches from the 50s and 60s. Some really good stuff with Thesz, the Funks, Rikidozan and Pat O'Connor. Now that's old school baby. Oh and THE DESTROYER! Best old school wrassler ever.

I need a place to download PPV's from the 80's, 90's, and 2000's. But I want original quality and possibly in ISO or DVD format. Anyone know where I can go besides the fucking piratebay?
