Wrestlers you were high on but failed.

Mr. Hughes circa 1993. Wasn't expecting him to be a main event guy but I would have liked him to at least stick around long enough to wrestle Taker at SummerSlam.

Oh you made me remember of Wade Barrett... My god what happened there!

Also, I'm plugging it in for you regulars too: http://forums.wrestlezone.com/showthread.php?t=260547

I was going to respond to your thread but I'll just show you this instead.

EDIT: Just looked at my thread again. You were the last response. I see you've changed your mind since last year.

for a split second in 2008 I was high on Brian Kendrick because of his gimmick

most recently would be Alex Riley. unless you consider ADR a failure, despite the title reigns, as some people do

I was surprised to see how big a part he played in the Invasion angle, certainly for the first 2-3 PPVs they made a big deal out of his matches.

I didn't change my mind since then. The Miz was the better choice, he was the one bringing the ratings for sometime, which is more than what we could say about any other heel in the WWE. I just thought that Wade Barrett could have done it too, if he haven't lost all of his relevancy when he created "The Core". I'm still 100% sure that The Miz was the right choice, and I don't know why but I'm pretty sure that back then he had a lot of supporters, hell he even got cheered louder than Steve Austin in on of their segments.

That gore on Rocky. He sold it like a champ too.

Butch! Find that gif!

Voilà!

I remember that at one Point I thought that at least one of out of Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre should get to the HW-title level

I they're both great workers...in plenty of great matches.

But they have the same problem...bland personalities and shitty gimmicks

Ludvig Borga:

I thought this guy was going to be great. He had a huge push upon arriving and within 6 months got hurt and never came back.

Glacier:

He had insaine build behind him before he debuted and upon arriving I though his fighting style was really cool. He had a decent push if I remember, nut once Godberg beat him during The Streak that was it for Glacier.

Drew McIntyre:

He seemed to have it all and was being pushed hard. He had the choosen one gimmick with Vince's backing, and a sweet DDT finisher and entrance theme. There's still time for him to rebound, but the more time that passes the worse his chances get at making it big.

Pope definitely. But I did later realize that there was not much to him in the first place except for a flashy gimmick.

Also, Desmond Wolfe. Though that was kind of tragic.
