WILLIAM PATRICK LESNAR

I'm not going to say who I think is right or wrong here, but I think at least one person here must realize why this entire episode has become incredibly sad.

Look at it this way, Lesnar said he has been watching wrestling for 20 years and yet Lesnar decides to make about 10 alts and only posts in the 3rd person. Didn't someone here realize that maybe this guy was a bit immature and needed some acceptance? I know he was annoying and I know his act wore thin, but seriously picking on him got to a point where it was just mean.

Sometimes, especially since the internet is an anonymous place, the users of this site treat the prison like a shark treats chum. We all know the rules of the site are here for a reason and without rules things obviously turn to chaos. The prison, in theory, is a good idea. However, most new prisoners are torn apart before they are even told what they did wrong. More so, I'd love to know how many of these prisoners are under 14 or 15 years old and are being torn apart by people in their 20s or 30s. Take Macios for example, obviously a kid in high school or even middle school, gets torn apart and then posts a thread entitled "Do you still hate me." Come on how does that not make people on this site feel bad. I know some people use the prison for kicks and sometimes the people in the prison really do deserve it. But, when people get first placed into the prison they are incredibly agitated and it just becomes a situation of other members poking the new prisoner with sticks.

I'm not saying Lesnar didn't deserve to be treated like crap. I am saying that maybe he needed the forum more then we thought he did and maybe by treating him so poorly we took an important outlet away from him. But how many times have you seen a poster in here just completely crack...Or, I could be completely wrong. But sometimes we all need to remember these are people on the other side of the computer....any way, just my two cents....I guess I am on team Jenks now.

Who are you again?

So I can write your name down on a list of random people that make well put posts when I've never heard of them before.

That's a great post, but consider it akin to how one would raise a child. If you coddled your child and never took him to task for things he did wrong, how would he ever learn the proper way to behave? Perhaps you don't ridicule a child, but neither are these 14 and 15 year olds OUR children, and thus, it's not really our responsibility to teach them the proper way to act, either in life or on the Internet.

There have been many people who have spent time in the Prison, who have gone on to become productive members of this forum. The most popular, and best, example is Lee, who worked his way up to a Global Moderator spot, after being imprisoned and then banned for a year. We're not asking anyone to change, we're just saying you have to change if you want to post here. There are hundreds of forums that Bill Lesnar can go act like an idiot on...this is not one of them though.

Finally, most posters are given multiple chances to learn how to fit into this forum. For example, Bill Lesnar was given two Spam Warnings, and then two Spam Infractions before receiving his first ban of a week. This process happened over the course of three days, and I'm not sure if you've ever received a Spam Warning or Infraction from the current Staff, most of us take time to explain what is wrong with someone's post. After receiving his one week ban, Bill Lesnar then went on to create 10 alts, which he knew was against the rules.

We give everyone more than enough chances to be productive members of the site, and contrary to what you have said, new members are not torn apart before they know what's happening. This is not like it was back in 2007...we give posters as many chances as we feel reasonable.

It's sad people like Bill Lesnar have nothing better to do in life than act stupid on a wrestling forum. I wish for people like that to find a better outlet for their creative energies, and to not care so much about this place it causes them to act the way he did. But it's not our job to hold his hand while he learns the proper way to behave on our forum. We gave him four chances before his first banning, and he pissed them away. There's really not much more we can do.

Something just occurred to me: the 10 alts were just the ones that maintenancebot picked up. He had probably 8 more that we banned before MB picked them up.

You take this place way too seriously. You have a wife, go spend some time with her instead of caring whether nameless, faceless posters on an internet forum that you'll never meet say mean things about her. Also, you're really not that great a poster. You don't have the clout to be calling people out because you're hardly any better.

I do spend time with her, a lot of it actually. I'm only here maybe an hour of my day. Meanwhile, instead of trying to actually meet a girl, you're here.

I hope he is not coming back, he's annoying as fuck.

It was funny at first, we were all hyped.
But his "Third Man Gimmick" got stale, and lame.

& The Alts that he makes?
He needs to understand WE don't WANT him HERE.
He doesn't contribute nothing to this forum, absolutely nothing.

His posts can be good at times, but its just such terrible quality.
Poor grammar, Poor spelling, and that gimmick (Third Man) WTF?

I used to believe the hype, but no more.
I even made a "Bill Lesnar Sig" for Macca cuz I once believed the hype.
Goodbye Lesnar, and never return.

Just noticed this.

Those were the key points about what Lesnar is.
haha :)

btw I meant to say "anything" instead of "nothing"
that was my grammar mistake.

I understand you guys might not like him, but some of the stuff that some of you have said can really upset a person. That's why you hear about all the people that commit suicide. Just be careful.

You realize that
He doesn't contribute nothing to this forum
is a double negative don't you? Then immediately after your awful grammar you complained about his. If you are going to insult somebody, do not make the mistake you are complaining about in the same post.

Edit: I now see your edit, but the point remains the same.

From the man who sent staff abusive comments?

Go fuck yourself.

What do you mean? I for one tried to be nice to Bill when he came back, I even encouraged him. I think he got the wrong people mad though.

Surprise, surprise... Lesnar stirs shit up yet again.

I was going to edit this, but I can't... So I'll add it on here.

Bill, had you not started this thread I really think you could have turned it around and been good. See ya, man. One thing though, why the hate for young posters that enjoy Old School wrestling?

Bill fucking Lesnar's grammar is a lot more worse than mine.

My grammatical mistakes are very slight.

That is two mistakes in a row, while complaining about his grammar. Normally the grammar is not important to me on a message board but this is a bit ridiculous. You also are not using correct punctuation. Will you be complaining about that next?

I'm not, I don't post often anyways.
This isn't english composition class either, I speak my mind. Whenever I have essays in college my punctuation and grammar is not that bad actually.

You also got to remember that this is an online forum, we are here to have fun and free to speak whats on our mind.

If theres an error in grammar, you dont gotta bitch about it.
Bill Lesnar's grammar is just ridiculous.

I don't want to post here thinking that some high knowledgable person is checking wether or not I am grammatically correct.

Sorry, I dont want to start any arguments and what not.

I know I don't have the best grammar so I don't have any right to bitch about anyone but what are you trying to say right there?
Your saying don't bitch about grammar but yet..you bitch about Bill Lesnar's?

First of all your punctuation was correct and I made a mistake, I was doing to many things at once and i screwed up so I apologize about that.

What you have in the bold is correct, the only problem is that it works against your complaints of Lesnar. He spoke his mind and enjoyed himself when given the opportunity. Should this apply to everyone but him?

If it is alright to complain about his grammatical errors, why is it not ok to do the same to you? He may have had plenty but when you post so do you, as do I, so really neither of us have a right to bitch about that.

So far your only valid complaints against him that have not applied to you as well are; not liking his gimmick(which you origionally did), and his Alts, which ended up getting him another chance rather than him falling into obscurity.
