I'm not going to say who I think is right or wrong here, but I think at least one person here must realize why this entire episode has become incredibly sad.
Look at it this way, Lesnar said he has been watching wrestling for 20 years and yet Lesnar decides to make about 10 alts and only posts in the 3rd person. Didn't someone here realize that maybe this guy was a bit immature and needed some acceptance? I know he was annoying and I know his act wore thin, but seriously picking on him got to a point where it was just mean.
Sometimes, especially since the internet is an anonymous place, the users of this site treat the prison like a shark treats chum. We all know the rules of the site are here for a reason and without rules things obviously turn to chaos. The prison, in theory, is a good idea. However, most new prisoners are torn apart before they are even told what they did wrong. More so, I'd love to know how many of these prisoners are under 14 or 15 years old and are being torn apart by people in their 20s or 30s. Take Macios for example, obviously a kid in high school or even middle school, gets torn apart and then posts a thread entitled "Do you still hate me." Come on how does that not make people on this site feel bad. I know some people use the prison for kicks and sometimes the people in the prison really do deserve it. But, when people get first placed into the prison they are incredibly agitated and it just becomes a situation of other members poking the new prisoner with sticks.
I'm not saying Lesnar didn't deserve to be treated like crap. I am saying that maybe he needed the forum more then we thought he did and maybe by treating him so poorly we took an important outlet away from him. But how many times have you seen a poster in here just completely crack...Or, I could be completely wrong. But sometimes we all need to remember these are people on the other side of the computer....any way, just my two cents....I guess I am on team Jenks now.
