Why isn't IC25 hated?

Anyway, I didn't bring it up, I brought up the fact that technically, the majority of the forum should hate you because of their lack of success at becoming a mod. Polley brought this up. Ban him.

But when Jake and Jonny took over the forums, they had a disaster on their hands that they had to clean up. So, the best admins for the job were people who would run the back end, enforce the rules, and clean shit up. And they did an amazing job of that.

So, I inherited a product FAR BETTER than when Jonny and Jake had found it. I was lucky to follow Jake and Jonny, because I got CLEAN FORUMS. So did I need an admin to run the CP? No, I needed someone to drive activity in the wrestling sections. Nobody better than Shocky there.

I also want to say that I did, in fact, rack my brain about the decision, and that Luther was absolutely a consideration. If we ever add a third admin, he'd be considered again, along with two others. And I sure as hell have nothing against Luther. But he brought it up...

The final consideration, I heard, was DEADMANSNUMBA1FAN. I consider all three to be roughly of the same quality.

Only some of that is true. We drafted new rules which were based on the old one's and came up with new idea's on how to get the forums running again. The activity and rule enforcing for the most part was down to the Moderators at the time, while there was a time when I did go around Moderating for most of my time here I wasn't needed in that capacity.

If you didn't need an admin to help out on the Admin sides of things... I hate to state the obvious here, but why appoint anyone? I mean Shocky is a great choice for Admin but if he is simply there to "post wrestling" and Moderate then why promote him or anyone else at all? Surely that job can be done from a Global Moderator position? The job of Administrator is in the title, you Administrate the Forums, take care of all the back end stuff... posting becomes insignificant. The Forum Moderators should be the one's driving activity, the Global Moderators should also be doing it, but in terms of creating discussion it shouldn't and never was down to the Administrators.

I tend to think that he used DIAR being a huge basketcase douchebag to stop him from being admin. also the fact he wouldve done a terrible job. makes. me think that

Irish would have gone for that whole ''next in line'' thing, so it was for the best.
