So for some reason I decided to read this topic and I have somethings to say about it.
Sure , Daniel Bryan is a very good wrestler but he awful in every other area. You guys do remember Jack Swagger , Dolph Ziggler , The Miz , and there are many more. They were used and then spit out.
I just want to point out one thing to people. No one said in this post that it took Daniel Bryan 10 years to win a Title. It took him ten year to make a big company.
People like :
Shawn Michaels - Started in 1984 and was signed my the WWF in 87 were he was then fired two weeks later. However, he was good enough to be back in 88 and wrestled as a tag team for three years before becoming the Heart Break Kid. The rest is history.
Bret Hart - Started in 76 in Stampede Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling , by 84 he was in the WWF and the rest is history. Also , people who say he couldn't talk and all that crap. Well you could easily feel what he was saying. It always felt like he meant it.
Eddie Guerrero - Started in 89 in the AAA , then was in ECW/WCW by 95 which he become very popular. Then onto WWF in 2000 , left in 2001 but was back in 2002. He could talk and he could wrestle.
Rey Mysterio - Started in 89 , was in ECW by 95 then onto WCW in 96 until 2002 when joining WWE in 2000.
Chris Jericho - Started in 90 , he was in ECW by 96 and also was in WCW then. He won the Cruiserweight title many times by 98 , then wont he TV title in 1998 , Then moved onto WWE in 1999 and the rest is history.
Daniel Bryan - Started in 1999 , he wrestled 3 years before becoming a Founding Father of Ring of Honor. So it isn't shocking that people would love him there. ---> triple threat match between Christopher Daniels, Bryan Danielson and Low Ki (who would become known as the "founding fathers of ROH") So it makes sense. However, it still took him 10 years to actually get signed and be good in a real company.
The point here is you can't compare the Ring of Honor a Ten year old company to companies that many wrestlers wrestled for back in the day. ROH isn't the 2nd best wrestling now for that matter.
All of those stars got into Major companies quickly. It didn't take them ten years to actually make a company that mattered.
Then you all bring up things about Older wrestlers giving hype to Daniel Bryan? They all have one thing in common. They are all getting paid by the WWE.
It's as if you people don't know wrestling is fake anyway.
Also , Stars who become World Champs before 30 years old? John Cena , The Miz was 30 , Randy Orton , Brock Lesnar , The Rock , The Undertaker. So get over the the whole people don't become champs before 30..
Fact is the WWE will make you like who they want. Hulk Hogan one of the greatest of all time had a finisher of a leg drop , a LEG DROP.. Next thing people are going to say is Bryan was better then Hogan.
Wrestling hasn't been all about wrestling for years. It is a male soap opera , they are ACTORS. Who do get hurt sometimes.
Let's also remember your GM on raw was a star in Japan.. That doesn't make DB's case look any better does it?
