You are entitled to your opinion workrate. I just don't understand where you all are coming from. You reasons don't make sense to me. Sure people like him because of his wrestling, but you can't tell me that he is good on the mic and that he is an interesting character. Plus, no matter what anybody says the YES chant is stupid. Fans don't even know why they are chanting it. It reminds me of another really dumb chant. What? What? What? What? If you do think he is good on the mic and that he is an interesting character then it just shows once again how stupid wrestling fans are. I asked a question then I get blasted for it. You asked a question and numerous people have answered you. Obviously people must think he's an interesting character or he wouldn't be as over as he is, and you wouldn't constantly hear people talking about him. I see little kids holding up "YES!" signs and "I came to see Daniel Bryan!" in the crowds at Raw and PPVs. You can't tell me an 8-year-old knows the difference between (or cares about) good/bad technical wrestlers, good/bad mic workers, etc., but he is obviously invested in the character, which is what matters most.

They both lack the same thing mic skills. As far as the Yes chant goes they used other people to help get it over. You all act like he did it himself. His ring work? What does he do in the ring to get the kids into it? He's not some high flying guy. He got over with his character. If his ring work was the reason, he would have gotten over like he has. You know, since he's been wrestling in the E for a couple of years now and he just got over a few months ago.

So let me see if I get this right, nobody can like Bryan Danielson's (I refuse to use his WWE name still) mic skills because you don't like them? People can't like his character because you don't like it? And people can't like his YES! chant because you think it's stupid? I happen to be a pretty big Danielson fan, when he came into the company he had a lot of room for improvement in terms of promos because ROH was not heavily based around being able to cut a good promo, instead it was based around wrestling which Danielson is easily one of the best in the world. And I'll admit that Danielson had a lot of issues with the progress for his first few years with the company, but in the past year or so he has made huge strides towards becoming one of the better mic workers in the company in terms of being able to cut a promo that people pay attention to, in terms of being able to get over with the crowd through his characters development.

Yeah, he is a fast little guy and he does do some high flying moves. He also does move faster than most in the ring. I mean come on man. Most of the talent on the roster can't move around and do what he does. Why would kids get over with his character? He doesn't have a character. His character is not and has not been geared towards kids. There is nothing for kids to get over about. That is like saying that Rey Mysterio got over with kids because of his character. I guess him being the little guy is him getting over with kids? Is that him getting over with kids? Or is that something he can't really control because he is little?

People love Daniel Bryan for the same reasons they love anyone else: (And this may come as a shocker to you...) It varies. Some find him exciting in the ring. Some like him just because others like him. Some like him because he's a heel. Some like him because he has an infectious catchphrase. Some like him because he's had a long, tough, respectable journey to finally achieve some sort of acclaim on a grand stage. Some like him for all those reasons and more.

Like you said New Japan is not second tier, then daniel bryan made it their like 8 years ago. He was a big star in new japan. Also when you say he is not over your full of shit. He's an incredible wrestler and he's not your typical big man or huge jacked up wrestler. He's the complete opposite of what Vince Mcmahon has ever wanted. Maybe he is the exception to the rule, but it's nice to see him make it. Maybe I have a soft spot for the guy, but I love underdogs and people who claw there way to the top. And Bryan certainly did that.

I find him entertaining and his catch phrase is great. Now the way he says it over and over is annoying, but I don't care. It's just a gimmick and he doesn't have a choice (like most wrestlers) in what he has to do. I look past all that crap and just watch. There's too much negativity in the IWC, so I tend to just avoid it all.

Infectious chant? Saying the word YES. Thanks wrestling fans for making all wrestling fans look stupid. Yeah he moves around the ring pretty quickly. He has more faster paced actions than almost anybody in the ring. Rhodes and Ziggler are technical wrestlers and nothing more. Bryan is fast paced and also does technical wrestling. The Future I'm not saying that because I don't like him nobody should. I'm saying it doesn't make sense to me. I said he was not over as a good guy. Ok, maybe a smidge over as a face. There are SO MANY FLAWS in your logic.

1. HE HAS A CHARACTER! He's been portraying the cocky yet cowardly heel to perfection. How you may ask? Let's see, he let The big show run over his girlfriend, then broke up with her, and continually got himself counted out or DQ'd to keep his belt. He then proceeded to sneak attack every chance he got. He's playing his character extremely well.

2. IT TOOK HIM TEN YEARS TO GET NOTICED: He's 5'10 and about 190 pounds, nothing physically stands out about him. He put together a resume of excellent technical matches while learning how to be a complete professional wrestler.

3. THE GUYS WHO LIKE HIM ARE ON THE PAYROLL: Yeah, cause HBK and Bret Hart really need that paycheck. It's not like they earned millions of dollars in a 20 year wrestling career and now have other money making ventures.

The bottom line is you don't like Daniel Bryan and keep getting butthurt about being proven wrong. So stop trolling, and get on with life.

Vicky its WHAT GETS Ziggler the little reaction he does get! Ziggler didn't always have her and he still got no reaction. He was put with her to push his character and it didn't work. Now that's one guy who's all talent and look but doesn't have the "it" factor. No matter how many times they try to push him, he never took off. He's doing what he should be doing, pushing others with his incredibility in ring talent. There's been 100's of people like Ziggler with the talent and look they never took off.

DB may not have the look but he has the "it" factor and in ring ability.

I'm sorry... did you just say Ziggler is bad on the mic? Have you heard him in promos? He's actually very talented. You might not like guys who aren't 350lbs but you are in the minority in this situation. At least learn to respect it.

I can safely say, Daniel Bryan is the most entertaining person on tv each week. What else is there to say? The crowd is completely sold. So even if you cannot understand it, then you need to at least respect it. If not, then you are just looking for attention.

When a guy has the talent to engage the entire crowd and put on a 5 star match, then he has the talent to be the WHC. There is nothing else to say. You are either looking for attention or being outright ignorant.
